We had a wonderful stay at Heath Farm. The hosts were fantastic. We stayed in Chestnut which was beautiful and very comfortable. Well stocked kitchen.
The place was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay perfect.
The welcome pack was a nice touch and the cakes from the bakers on site was device.
The grounds and surrounding areas are a pleasure to walk around, just be mindfull of the main road, it can get busy.
We will definitely return.

Our 3 night stay in Chestnut was wonderful. It is spacious, cosy and very well equipped. It has its own well maintained hot tub with country views. The shared games room was brilliant: pool table, table tennis table, musical instruments, projector, darts, punch bag, etc. The only downside was limited numbers of local attractions at this time of year (January) but we enjoyed mooching around Chipping Norton, Hook Norton and Banbury. The hosts were very helpful and responsive.

We rented out the entire heath farm
Property and My family stayed in the Chestnut cottage. We asked Abi to unlock the secret wardrobe door so we could flow freely between ours and Cobnut as my sister was staying in Cobnut.
The accommodation was incredible, they had absolutely everything we could need in the kitchen, which was so helpful as we were hosting Thanksgiving for family that was visiting from the US.
The beds were comfy, blackout curtains and shutters amazing (major bonus!!), it was so cozy.
The team was so welcoming and accommodating. They thought of everything. It’s such a beautiful property and we created such wonderful memories there, I look forward to returning again in the future!

We had the most amazing stay at Heath Farm. Mon and his family went over and above to make our stay enjoyable and make sure we had the best time possible. They have truly created a slice of heaven in the Cotswolds and it's an excellent spot to explore the Cotswolds from. Our cottage, the Chestnut, had the hot tub overlooking the pond area which was a perfect place to unwind and watch out for wildlife after a day of exploring. There is lots to do at the farm itself with woodland to explore and lots of activities such as croquet, archery and games room, you will definitely not get bored! Truly recommend and will definitely go back!

This was our forth visit to Heath Farm and the third in Chesnut. Our first three visits took place around 10 to 12 years ago. The whole place is just amazing! The accommodation is beyond clean, beyond idyllic, beyond homely, and probably beyond everything you’ve seen in accommodation of this type. David and Nena still live and run heath Farm and are now well into theirs 80s, and this life obviously suits them as they are both active in running the farm with the help of their family. On the surface little had changed since our last visit but all the appliances had been replaced, a beautiful walk in shower had replaced the bath and the cottage now has its own hot tub which looks over the valley towards the lake. This is perfectly placed to visit the towns of The Cotswolds and other attractions in the area ( don’t miss crocodiles of the world attraction) How the Barbours have kept this place as perfect as they have is testament to how the whole place is presented. We will return as we can relax comfortably here. Absolutely no minus points at all. Complimentary cake, muesli and milk on arrival and absolutely fantastic hosts. We can throughly recommend chesnut cottage at Heath Farm.
As an aside our first three visits were usually the first week in December, when my wife would bring an extra suitcase and we would vist towns during the day and buy Christmas presents, and in the evening she would wrap them and we would go home with a case full of gifts ready for Christmas.

We arrived Friday evening as the sun was setting after a very long week at work. We are returning guests and always have the best time here.
It is incredible how quickly the beautiful setting completely relaxed us.
The cottage was even better this time as the bath had been replaced with a huge shower .
The view from the hot tub is wonderful .
Heath farm is definitely one of my favourite places to visit .

We have just returned from a stay at Chestnut Cottage and it was thoroughly wonderful. Every detail had been thought of and the booking process was so quick and easy. I loved being able to choose the cake and granola that were there on arrival and the choice of bedding.
The kitchen was well appointed and we didn't want for anything (except kitchen foil but I may have missed it in the cupboards). The fire in the living room was a real delight. If I only had one slight quibble, the sofa wasn't particularly comfortable and perhaps needed some footstools to allow for lounging.
The bathroom was extremely clean and the towels were fluffy. We particularly appreciated the robes and towels for the hot tub, which was also amazing. Again, if I had to make a suggestion it would be to provide plastic cups so you can safely take drinks to the hot tub. We used our recyclable coffee cups.
We didn't get to use all the amenities and if we came back for a longer stay we would definitely explore the woodland and use the fishing lake.
The only other minor comment I would make is that the upstairs cottage should perhaps not be let to children as there was some running about and noise which we could hear from Chestnut. But this was only on a few occasions and we couldn't hear it when watching TV.
All in all a wonderful stay and the quality of the cottage is exceptional. I hope we will be back!

We do provide foil & cling film in each cottage kitchen but maybe we need to put it somewhere more visible. We have just bought some new wooden dispensers for them so next time you come they should be more visible.
We're sorry that the guests above you were a bit noisy and take on board your suggestion. We're in the process of buying new larger rugs and soundproofing underlay for the cottage above which we hope will considerably reduce noise from the cottage above. We do ask guests with young children in the cottage above to be considerate of noise but occasionally it can be an issue.

We come the Heath Farm every year so that’s a recommendation in itself. We love it here and there is always something different to see when walking amongst the nut orchards and woodland. Would 100% recommend. Just a very small suggestion would be for the Chestnut to have larger comfy sofa to chill in, this would be a fabulous addition - thats the only reason why I gave a 4/5 for comfort. We especially loved the hot tub!

Nothing happens very fast here was Mon's welcome statement and in a very good way he was completely accurate. You can properly wind down here and the accommodation and facilities were wonderful. I had the most wonderful time at Chestnut, granted my stay was very short. The cottage itself is beautiful- I enjoyed cooking in the very well-stocked kitchen, the open fire which was already set up for me, the very comfortable bed which made way for great sleeps and everything else! The grounds at Heath Farm are amazing- I walked all the way around them (using the map in the informative welcome pack) and spent lots of time by the lake as well. Due to my very short stay, I was not able to explore the Games Room or use the hot tub, but I will definitely do so during my next stay! Overall, I had a lovely time and everyone was incredibly welcoming and hospitable!

We stayed 4 nights in Chestnut which has the hot tub with beautiful views. Beautiful estate with plenty to explore and also has a games room plus outdoor space. Lovely orchard with an abundance of apple and pear trees which we could pick along with the lovely raspberry bushes so had fresh fruit each morning. The cottage is well equipped and the owners have thought of everything. They have got it just right as not intrusive but there if you need them. You will relax from the moment you arrive. It was hard to leave and will be returning as soon as we can. A great find and a perfect position to explore the beautiful Cotswolds.

Highly recommend this cosy cottage for a lovely break. Everything was a high standard with thoughtful touches. We were looked after wonderfully by Mon. Greatly enjoyed relaxing in the cottage and particularly the open fire with the generous supply of wood. The hot tub in the garden was incredibly relaxing looking over a far reaching view of water, fields and sheep and enhanced by the warmth of the outdoor fireplace under the chilly starry night sky. Our adult children stayed in the adjoining cottage so we could have both family time and own space - essential for a restful break! The grounds are glorious with woodland to explore and plenty of walks as well as lovely local pubs and walk recommendations to keep you fit fed and entertained. Highly recommend to all ages!

I hadn’t quite realised how much I needed time out until I arrived at Heath Farm. The welcome was warm and the space was just perfect. The cottage had everything we needed as self caterers. The fire roared all weekend and the hot tub was a delight on crisp cold evenings, sitting and looking up at the dark skies and fir tree. A walk around the farmland was just the ticket on the Saturday, before more of the unlimited fire wood was collected for a snuggle down. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone who is looking for a blend of luxury, nature and relaxation!

Everything you need is on hand and a hot tub adds to the luxury overlooking the beautiful Cotswold countryside - sheep and all!

I have lost count of the times we have stayed here. And there is a reason. It’s the best! Outstanding holiday accommodation. From the quality and cleanliness of the properties to the warm family welcome from the whole Barbour family. We come here because we feel like we are coming home. It’s always hard to leave. The garden and hot tub in Chestnut are fabulous additions and make this place untouchable. We absolutely love it. Perfect location for anywhere you really want to see in the Cotswolds. You’re 15 to 30 mins away from everywhere. That really is all! Honestly, if you haven’t sampled Heath Farm you are missing out. Chestnut is a lovely clean and homely cottage. Towels and bed linen were of top quality, as was the kitchen ware. There was a comprehensively equipped kitchen and the cake provided on arrival was very nice. The location of Heath Farm is amazing with rolling hills, woodland paths and meadows to walk through. There is a newly created swimming pond which we used which was very welcome on a hot day. The cottage also has a newly installed hot tub on a private terrace with lovely views of the pond and surrounding countryside. The owners of Heath Farm are extremely helpful and friendly, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and intend to return.

We stayed at Chestnut, and it was beyond our expectations. We had an indoor and outdoor fireplace, multiple outdoor areas to dine in, not to mention a hot tub with great views. The cottage itself is spacious, with a well equipped kitchen and plenty of places to curl up and read a book. The back of the cottage opens up into a garden with a water feature. We also had a complimentary lime, courgette and coconut cake, and it was delicious.
All in all, we really enjoyed our stay there and would definitely recommend it to any couple who is looking to explore Cotswold during the day and be able to fully relax during the evening!

We stayed in Chestnut and our families stayed in Cobnut and Walnut recently and cannot recommend highly enough Heathfarm cottages.
Chestnut is a really lovely cottage, designed for two people but still spacious. The owners have included so much that everything you need is on hand. The living area is so comfortable to relax and dine in and the connecting bedroom area still allows you space. The kitchen meets all your needs and is well equipped.
Recent additions are two hot tubs with beautiful laid out private gardens to sit and relax in. There is in additional to a larger outside seating area in a beautiful Courtyard, adjoining the cottages, for dinning and relaxing in the peace and quiet. I can totally recommend Heathfarm.

Great location, fantastic farm and cottage. We went in the beginning of November and the colours of the trees were amazing. We enjoyed the fire in the cottage, the apple juice and the cale kindly offered and some chestnuts from the farm.

The owners have taken many additional steps to try and protect guests, employees and themselves from the coronavirus and we felt comfortable and safe during our stay. It is a very special place to stay and you get what you pay for and that complimentary cake is excellent. We visited a place or two but also spent time enjoying the woods, gardens and general environment around Heath Farm as well as our accommodation which is to good just to use as a place to sleep. There were a couple of minor negatives but these were to do with the behaviour of other guests and I would suggest that BBQ's (yes in October!) are not allowed on the terraces of properties such that they pollute other guests accommodation whilst the sound bars provided seem a good idea until an adjoining guest has one on rather loud and late at night. You have probably already been sold on Heath Farm cottages by the pictures on the website and they do not lie; proof of the pudding is we have already booked to return.

We had four nights in Chestnut which was extremely comfortable. The courtyard was beautiful and peaceful with the lovely views beyond. Great location with numerous paths to explore, croquet on the lawn and lots of games available for children. Going through the woods to the bottom of the wood we even watched lambs being born in the field next door! The grounds were full of interesting fruit and nut trees - the greengages being particularly delicious!
The accommodation was very well equiped and we wanted for nothing, and everything was very clean, and we felt totally safe. The hosts were also very helpful.
We took bikes and used the secure bike shed, and explored the grounds, and villages beyond. On one day we took our bikes on the train from Charlbury to Moreton-in-Marsh and cycled back along the Cotswold Cycle Line stopping in Kingham for a very good lunch.
Can also recommend the Boxing Hare one mile down the road which was busy but the food was delicious.
A lovely break away from it all - and importantly away from any crowds!

A lovely location and beautifully appointment apartments and cottages. The surrounding 70 acres of woods and farm land were well kept, everything is on a slope so not really suitable for wheelchairs. The water supply is a natural spring (lovely for washing your hair in) and so there is no need for bottled water. Natural products are provided to keep the ecological balance at the correct level. No shops within walking distance so take what you need. Local M&S Foodhall in Chipping Norton was very good and there are other sizeable supermarkets in the town. A perfect location for covering Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire, the Cotswolds National Park. Plenty to see and do in and around the area, kept us busy all week. Parking is on the small industrial site next door (no noise pollution at all from this) but is in a private area exclusive to the cottages. The buildings are of stone and wood but there is central heating and open fires for cooler weather. Very enjoyable indeed.

We stayed at Heath Farm for 9 days mainly to attend 2 weddings in the area. We had a brilliant week and the accommodation was perfect. The owners were very welcoming and helpful and the cottage had everything we could possibly need. We had our 2 month old son with us and Chestnut cottage was set up with a travel cot and worked very well for us. The courtyard is beautiful and peaceful and the grounds were fabulous for exploring. There were so any games and activities available both inside and out and I'm sure it would be wonderful with older children too. The surrounding area is beautiful and Heath Farm was a perfect base. We'd love to come back in the winter sometime and make use of the log fire and winter walks. Overall we were extremely impressed and very much enjoyed our time there.

This is a wonderful place to stay in the heart of the Cotswolds. Only minutes from all the key places including Blenheim Palace. The quality of the accommodation astounded us - so much so we asked to stay an extra night! We will be back to stay at Heath Farm and have already recommended it to our friends and family. We won’t stay anywhere else now - this is most definitely the one when staying in this area. Log fire, beautiful furnishings, excellent customer service and all amenities you could ever want. Better than home from home. Thank you Heath Farm. We will be back!

Thank you very much for your perfect review! We try very hard to make sure all our guests feel completely at home so when you state "Better than home from Home" we know we're on the right track! We're more than happy to add additional nights onto stays if we have the availability and the charge is always a small percentage of the weekly price. It's especially useful for short stays when you don't want to check out at 10am or when 2 or 3 nights just isn't enough!

We take note of scores for the condition you gave and would like to say that we are undertaking maintenance and updates to the cottages including replacing some of the glazing, sinks, taps and fittings, updating tv's & audio equipment and some of the furniture. My 2nd stay at Heath Farm and just as marvellous. Incredibly comfortable, very individual and wonderful to sit on the terrace in the evening soaking in the beautiful surroundings.

What a great place to stay. From the minute we arrived we were greeted as if we were returning friends. The room felt like home with all the comforts we would ever need.
The farm surrounds are beautiful and large. Great to stretch your legs.
The location is close enough to all the areas we wanted to visit.

Had a brilliant stay with a gang of friends - the cottages were gorgeous and the grounds beautiful. Mon and family were very welcoming and helpful and we’re all planning to come back! Highly recommended.

Our recent week-long stay at Heath Farms provided a restful retreat in the beautiful Cotswolds. The cottages are beautifully constructed and well appointed. Excellent restaurants and interesting attractions are nearby. Looking forward to another visit!

A fabulous cottage on impressive grounds with lovely hosts.
Well equipped and nicely furnished cottage; great heating system and fully functional fire-place (no smoke floating around and no smell of smoke!); lots of maps and books on walks and routes provided; great location to explore The Cotswolds.

This was are 7th visit to Heath Farm but first stay in the Chestnut. It is a lovely cottage very comfy and cosy. In fact it was too warm at times! We love to sit and watch the fire. The only thing I would say is that the seating area could be positioned with the fireplace as the focal point.
Heath farm is beautiful and just the place to relax and unwind. You can just shut the front door and forget about the outside world.
