A little gem in the wyre forest. The lodge was perfect for a few days away relaxing, the hot tub was a bonus and you sit in the hot tub and watch the deer. There was a bottle of wine and some chocolate when we arrived and tea, coffee and milk. I would definitely recommend! We will return.

Staying at forest view retreat is exceptional. We could lock away the outside and just enjoy a fabulous retreat. The first thing we noticed was all the deer and stag. We was amazed. We then went into the bluebell lodge and my mind was blown! It’s immaculate and spacious. We had complimentary wine and chocolates which was a lovely touch. Decoration is stunning in there. Everything you need for self catering is available. The hot tub was stunning and very clean. We got shown how to use it and safe to say we spent a lot of time in there. Was lovely going in there in the evening as the sun set and deer coming right up to us. They provide deer food for a small amount of five pound so we could feed the deer. This was our first experience of a retreat and we can’t wait to return for our anniversary next year. Thank you for making our experience so special

We've been staying here for 10 years now and every stay has just been the most relaxing stressfree feeling you'll ever feel we are local and feel so lucky to have this on the doorstep as a getaway the wild deer watching from the hottub or sofa is so amazing and feeding them is just surreal it's in a perfect location for the most beautiful walks, severn valley railway and safari park just a few minutes away, great pubs and the best milkshakes up the road from the jersey way farm
We are always welcomed and nothing is too much trouble and every detail is thoughtful and can't wait to book again

We love this place you can't fault nothing,
The cabin is spotless and there is everything you need :-) they think of everything.
It's so nice when the deer come right up to the cabin and you can feed them.
We already booked in again in October thats how much we love it

Beautiful stay. Definitely will rebook. The Deer didn't let us down being constantly in view and coming in to the Lodge early evening. Short walk to Royal Forester which has lovely food. But the Lodge had everything. Beautiful experience. Definitely recommend.

The place and location is perfect! It’s more than what we imagined !
It’s so peaceful and quiet , there is no disturbances what so ever,

We stayed for a weekend and wish it could have been a week. The location is just beautiful - so peaceful. There are only three cabins and they are cleverly set up so that you have complete privacy. The hot tub overlooks the meadow and the forest, and deer wander by regularly. The bathroom is beautifully equipped with a huge bath and big shower. The decor is tasteful and elegant. The cabin is adequately equipped for self-catering. The owners are lovely and so helpful. They have really thought of everything.

Been holidaying at Forest View Retreat, each year, since 2013. My wife and I absolutely love it here. When we first came, there were only two lodges (Bluebell, which sleeps 2 and Bramble, which sleeps 4). Since then a third lodge has been added (Fern, also sleeps 2). All three are situated far enough apart to ensure total privacy and are located on the edge of the Wyre Forest. If you want total peace, tranquillity and a chance to escape the daily grind, then this is the place for you. Please note, there's no Wi-Fi, but that's one of the reasons why my wife and I stay here....and keep coming back. We've been staying at Bluebell Lodge for 11 years during which time we celebrate our wedding anniversary. The lodges are immaculate and there's nothing the owners won't do for you. They are the perfect hosts. Each day, you'll see deer across the fields. In fact, they've become so used to people, that they'll insist on being fed each evening....and very close up too, literally a few feet away. Amazing! There is so much to do and so many places to visit in and around the beautiful Worcestershire that you'll be spoilt for choice. However, if you just want to relax and stay in the lodges for the duration of your stay, you won't be disappointed! The lodges have all the mod cons, a lovely hot tub on the veranda and basically everything you need to ensure a memorable break, whether it be a short stay or longer. Already re-booked for 2025, can't wait!

Late check-in around midnight was well-accommodated. Birthday Bunting was a nice touch.
The option to buy deer food to put out so that the wild deer come and visit in the evening while chilling out in the Jacuzzi is awesome! Only £5 for some food that creates a magical experience.
Nearby pub, The Royal Forrester is a gorgeous location with great selection of drinks, outdoor fire pit, pizza oven, Butty Bach on tap, cocktails.
So close to Go Ape adventure. Forest walks are scenic and footpaths well established.

Forest View Retreat never fails to impress. The whole place is so relaxing, just chilling in the hot tub and watching all the wildlife come to you. The deer are amazing. The cabin is spotlessly clean and has everything that you need for your stay and the fact that there is no WiFi actually enhances the stay and enables you to totally switch off and unwind. There are lots of lovely places to visit within striking distance of Forest View, but don't be at all surprised if you find that when you get there, you really don't want to go anywhere else.

Spent a wonderful couple of days relaxing at Bluebell Everything from start to finish was prefect . Arrived to meet the deer outside the Cabin Had tea before relaxing in the hot tub. Cabin was immaculate and so much thought had gone in to make our stay so lovely. Breakfast at Royal Foresters was a treat and in evening had one of best value for money carvery at The Plough Inn. Loved everything about our stay and returned home chilled and relaxed . A huge thank you to Rich and Lucy

We had the most wonderful weekend staying at Forest View Retreat. From the moment arriving everything was perfect. The wine and chocolates were a lovely touch. The deers were so cute and the option of feeding them for a little of fee of £5 is so worth it. We have already recommended the cabins to friends and family. We will definitely be returning, can’t wait already. The perfect place to simply relax and enjoy some quality husband and wife time while the grandparents babysit at home haha! xxx

Myself and my partner stayed in bluebell lodge and really enjoyed our little getaway at Forest View Retreat. Everything was perfect and exceeded our expectations the view was amazing whether in the hot tub or in the lodge itself. Seeing the wildlife that surrounds you with the wild deer and listening to the owls whilst in the hot tub added to our calm and relaxing stay. The facilities within the lodge was everything we needed and more the 2 person bath and the walk in shower was amazing aswell, also the mattress and the bedding was very comfortable ‘I didn’t want to get out of it’. Rob and Kim were amazing too from booking to our departure. We will most definitely be going back in the future and would highly recommend Forest View Retreat to anyone who is looking to get away from city life and enjoy the peace and quiet this location has to offer and more. Thankyou again Rob and Kim and hope to see you soon.

We have been visiting Forest View Retreat for many years. It’s the perfect location for us to switch off and unwind. I love the fact that there isn’t any Wi-Fi. We watched the amazing wildlife, bird life and the deer that visited the area around the lodge. Watching the Forest and the beautiful autumn colours was wonderful. One of the highlights was to sit in the hot tub at night and look to the stars. Nature at its best. We will be returning again. Kim and Rob truly are the perfect hosts

My wife and I have been staying at the Forest View Retreat for each of the past ten years. Prior to this, we would never stay at the same place twice. But, it was love at first sight! So, for our latest stay at Bluebell Lodge, we celebrated our 30th Wedding Anniversary....and it was just perfect in everyway! Peaceful, scenic, close to nature, just absolute bliss for those who would like to escape the rigours of daily life. There is so much to do within the wonderful countryside that Worcestershire has to offer that I'd run out of space to type. If, like us, you'd like to use any of the three lodges as a base and you don't mind a bit of travelling, there's a myriad of places to visit in neighbouring Shropshire and Herefordshire too. Each lodge has an abundance of information leaflets and a little research on Google for places will just add to the helpful information already provided. Alternatively, you could very easily have as much enjoyment in a shorter visit, by staying exactly where you are at the lodge! Relax in the hot tub, watch the sunset from a balcony with a glass of wine or four and experience the pleasure of feeding the deer, who regularly turn up from the Wyre Forest. None of this would be possible however, without the fabulous hosts, Kim & Rob. They will do everything possible to make your stay a memorable one....they literally can't do enough for you and we very much look forward to seeing them both every year. All lodges are immaculately presented and its no surprise to learn that Kim & Rob have earned recognition for the very highly rated Forest View Retreat. We've already booked for next year, in fact as long as we're able to, we'll keep coming back each year to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. We love it!!

This was a second time stay. It is better than the first. The owners are fantastic, and leave you to get on with your holiday. The name Forest View Retreat is a perfect name, it is an excellent place to relax and let the world pass you buy. Our second stay at Forest View. Rob & Kim are so friendly and welcoming, I only contacted kim the night before and nothing was too much trouble. Lodges are sensational, Views are "wow" The deers are so graceful you won't want for anything else,Hot tub is a dream you can't fault anything about the place. As soon as we got there we were welcome by the deers they stayed with is until the end of our stay in Bluebell. Honestly so magical the lodge was very well furnished so clean. We enjoyed every part of it, from the cooking together to the playing cards too relaxing in the hot tub/ bubble bath. It was honestly so wonderful thank you :)

The hot tub, the deer, the cosiness is just perfect. Rob & Kim are so friendly too, customer service is wonderful and they add the personal touch which goes a long way xx

Well what can I say . Amazing place . Hot tub was amazing . The log cabin was Amazing the hosts Kim and rob are amazing . My 2nd visit and it won’t be my last . Rob was helpful and gave me local tourist info and stood and had a chat with me . Very nice people the bambis are so cute the way they come for food up to the cabin and play . Would highly recommend this place :)

We had an amazing stay at Forest View Retreat - I had previously stayed in the bigger cabin but this one was just as immaculate and homely! Kim and Rob leave you to enjoy your stay but it’s reassuring to know if we had any issues - they are just a phone call away! The deer were incredible - when I stayed previously we didn’t see much of them but this time they were often around and even came up close to the cabin… they are fascinating to watch and it’s beautiful being SO close to nature! The hot tub was amazing and so relaxing under the stars! Often recommend this place to friends… thank you Kim and Rob and we look forward to returning at some point in the future x

We have stayed at Forest View Retreat many times. It’s our ‘switch off place’ and somewhere that we can take time out and recharge the batteries.
The location on the edge of the Wyre Forest couldn’t be any better. The accommodation is perfect, the scenery is wonderful and there is no better place to just watch the changing scenery, as deer, birds, rabbits and other wildlife appear from the forest. We can’t recommend this place highly enough. The owners, Kim and Rob Simmonds make you feel so welcome. We will continue to visit and are already planning when we can return

My husband and I stayed here for two nights, and it was everything we needed to escape the chaos of reality. The lodge is spotless, cosy, and comes with everything you’d need. The views of the Forrest and Deer were stunning, especially whilst relaxing in the hot tub. This was our 3rd visit, and we will certainly be returning!

Bluebell lodge was perfect in every way . Very clean & set out to a high standard. The views were just stunning, the deers running around right outside made my stay memorable. Booked to stay for 3 nights for my partners birthday and it was amazing!! Hosts are very friendly and welcome, explained everything very well to us and was left alone for duration of our stay but said we could always contact them if we needed. Lovely lodge very clean and had everything we needed. Amazing to see some many deers and bonus with them leaving us food to be able to feed them. Hot tub was fab. Will definitely be coming back! The Forest View Retreat is the absolute perfect place to stay if you want to take time out from the daily grind and recharge your batteries. My wife and I have been staying at the Bluebell Lodge every year now since 2013. We always said we’d never go back to the same place when going on holiday, either at home, or abroad. This place is very very special though! We instantly fell in love with the lodge, the Wyre Forest and everything the general area has to offer. There are two other lodges, Bramble (sleeps up to 4) and Fern (sleeps 2). All three lodges are wonderfully situated at the edge of the Wyre Forest. As stated, we’ve been coming here for nine years and we still haven’t explored all the Forest has to offer. We’re also increasingly amazed at just how much the local deer population have become used to the human presence there. Every day we fed the deer during our recent stay, sometimes a matter of feet away from us. Incredible! In addition to the local wildlife on view, FVR is also a great base to visit the endless delights that the Worcestershire countryside has to offer. There are so many things to see and do, so many places to visit that I couldn’t do it enough justice in this article. That said, if you just want to remain in the lodges and unwind, then look no further. The FVR is complemented by its fabulous owners, Kim and Rob Simmonds. They will do absolutely anything for you and will ensure your stay is a memorable one! It’s always a real pleasure to return and see them each year. Our 2023 stay is already booked and as long as my wife and I are able to, we’ll keep coming back. It’s that good! Enjoy!

Yet another fantastic stay at Forest View. We simply love it here, the cabins are perfect, clean and spacious, everything you need for your stay, lovely little touches on arrival, milk in the fridge, wine and chocolates (what a treat) the views are beautiful and the private hot tub is a great way to unwind.
Kim and Rob are superb hosts and nothing is too much trouble.

I have to say to start we were very lucky no one was staying in the other two nearby lodges so we had this wonderfull location to our selves. The lodge was lovely, well kept and modern with plenty of space for the two of us. Situatied at the edge of a meadow next to woodland, there was plenty of wildlife about, we had the great fun of sitting in a hot tub in the evening feeding wild deer. Its in a very quiet peaceful location but not too far from the local pubs etc. Nice hosts, checked in with us to start and were always available if needed but didn't hover. I would highly recommend this to any nature lovers, lots of wildlife and nature walks around and about half hours drive from the safari park.

Such a lovely setting, accommodation spotless, providing everything you could wish for.
Hosts, Kim and Rob couldn't do enough to make our stay so enjoyable. So many lovely and interesting places to visit close by.
About 15 beautiful deer were only feet away from us at the lodge every day! Hot tub so relaxing.
Couldn't fault the stay at all, and would highly recommend to any friends and family wanting a relaxing enjoyable break.

A stay does not get much more relaxing than sitting in a lovely warm hot tub with a glass of champagne, in front of an amazing cabin, with great views and surrounded by wildlife.
BlueBell was very bright, clean and spacious and also incredibly warm and cozy. The decking along with the hot tub give great views of the fields, forest and the very curious herds of deer who paid many a visit.
Kim and Rob were very warm and welcoming hosts and we look forward to our next visit :o)

We had a three night break away with friends and booked all three of Rob and Kim’s cabins. We stayed in Bluebell Lodge and had the most amazing time. It’s our first time self catering in a cabin and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It was very peaceful and we enjoyed our daily visits by the deer. The cabin is beautifully positioned, clean and fully equipped with everything you need, even a charcoal bbq. Rob is a fantastic host, we enjoyed our daily chats whilst he tested the water quality of the hot tubs. The hot tubs are great fun and much needed and enjoyed after a long day walking. Access to the Forest trails is easy and close. We will most definitely be booking again. Thank you for your great hospitality Rob and Kim.

A fantastic weekend away, the lodge was superb, clean throughout, a cosy home from home. Hot tub maintained extremely well and a welcomed warmth after a walk in the forest. I’ve lost count of how many times we have been to Forest View Retreat. This is our “go to” place, where we can switch off and unwind. To sit in the hot tub and watch the deer walk across the field from the Forest is amazing. Also watching the changing colours of the Forest is a wonderful sight. Bluebell Lodge is perfect for us, with its big picture windows and attention to detail by the owners, Kim and Rob. We can’t recommend this place highly enough. It truly is stunning, and away from the stresses and strains of daily life and work. We will definitely return. Thank you Kim and Rob for making it a special place.

What can we say, Rob and Kim were fantastic hosts, Robs knowledge about the place and surrounding area was perfect, they made you feel welcomed but also gave you privacy. Beautiful lodge and beautiful surrounding area. Had lovely weather and Bluebell lodge provides the best sunsets. So we'll kept, clean and homely. The hot tub was a fabulous bonus!

So many opportunities to have the deer up close which topped off the weekend!

We stayed through family recommendation and we'd definitely recommend others. The perfect little spit for a relaxing weekend.

Myself and my husband have stayed here many times and it just gets better! we can't imagine ever getting bored of the place.
Kim & Rob are great and really take pride in there business. We hope to visit many more times.

The only reason for giving 4 rating on "value" is simply because of bookings now being 3 night minimum, this makes it difficult to do a weekend break although with current situations we understand why & also that many other cabin breaks are the same but that's what made forest view more appealing if you only had a Friday - Sunday free.
"Comfort" 4 star is simply because the sofa in bluebell is small and not much room for 2 to lounge around on there, everything else in the cabin is exceptional.

overall another great stay, would highly recommend, feel totally relaxed & recharged again.

We're running out of words to describe how fabulous the Forest View Retreat is. This was the 9th time we have stayed, coming here every year since 2014. We've predominantly stayed in the Bluebell Lodge, but the other two other lodges on site are just as amazing. If you want 'time out' from the hustle and bustle of daily life, look no further. Situated on the edge of the Wyre Forest, the lodges couldn't be better placed to enjoy the peace, tranquillity and abundant wildlife you'd expect in such a location. When we first stayed back in 2014, we saw the deer maybe twice during our stay. We were amazed. Fast forward nine years, I don't know what's happened, but they're virtually eating out of our hands now....and not just one deer, a whole regiment! Be sure to use the deer feed provided by Kim and Rob, they absolutely love that. If you want to supplement their feed, throw in some chopped apples....they love that too! Based as you are by the Wyre Forest in the exquisite Worcestershire countryside, there's literally loads of places to see and visit....too many to list. if you're motivated to explore, it's there waiting for you. Equally, if you just want to stay locally and take in the serenity, whilst relaxing in a spotlessly clean lodge (plus hot tub) then look no further than the FVR. To top it all, you have the owners, Kim and Rob. They're the friendliest most perfect hosts, yet so much more! They will go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as you hoped it would be. They're one of the reasons we keep returning to this gorgeous place....and will continue to do so, for as long as we're able. Many thanks to Kim and Rob, see you next time! xx

2nd time we have visited Forrest View Retreat and stayed in the Bluebell lodge, this place is amazing! Rob and Kim have made sure everything you could need is there for you, even food ready for you to put out for the local Deer who came right up close to our hot tub every day to eat. They also provided us with a box of chocolate and a bottle of prosseco which again is a nice touch! I can't think of a reason why anyone would not want to visit here! This is our 3rd visit to Forest View Retreat. We stayed in Bluebell lodge and were welcomed with a box of chocolates and a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. The lodge was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The view of the Wyre Forest is superb and we were visited every night by the local herd of deer and plenty of rabbits. Even though there are 3 lodges each lodge is very secluded and privacy is guaranteed. The highlight of the lodge is, of course, the hot tub. Just Fabulous. Have booked for 2022 already.

We stayed for 3 nights in the Bluebell Cabin. We had the most fantastic time. The accommodation was first rate. It was so clean and well presented. There was everything you could need. The double bath with lights was a highlight.

We had a wonderful stay at Bluebell Lodge for what was meant to be our mini-moon. The location is quiet, peaceful and a great place to see some wildlife. We were lucky enough to be visited by the deer in the evening and used the deer food provided (for an extra charge of £5).
The extra touches provided by Rob and Kim, such as banners celebrating our intended occasion, were very much appreciated and we most certainly will be back for future special occasions. Thank you both x

We return to Forest View Retreat for a reason. We can both switch off and relax. Enabling us to recharge our batteries. The cabins are spotless and the hot tubs are a luxurious touch. We can do as much or as little as we want. The location is fantastic, with wildlife on your doorstep. Birds/ birds of prey, deer and rabbits. The birdsong from the forest is amazing, with them all vying to be heard. One morning there seemed to be a long argument/ conversation between 2 woodpeckers!
Kim and Rob are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them.
We will be returning and we can’t recommend this place enough.

Before we checked in we were greeted by the lovely Rob and Kim, who were super friendly, helpful and welcoming - a great start to the stay. Bluebell lodge exceeded our expectations - the countryside around it was full of wildlife including deer, rabbits and buzzards - I don't think we could've asked for better scenery! It was stunning sitting out in the hot tub surrounded by this view. The deer came right up to us when we put apples out! The lodge was clean, comfortable, spacious and homely (the only thing we could say was missing was WiFi!) Great location - we visited Bewdley, Safari Park and Wyre Forest. The Royal Forester Inn (pub over the road) was great. We will definitely stay again and have recommended to all our friends!

Me and my partner stayed here over Christmas, we are key workers and have spent the whole of the pandemic working so it was really nice to Have a quiet weekend away, The cabin was lovely, and the deer come very close to you, we especially enjoyed the hot tub which was nice when the sky was clear we could see all the stars.

We would definitely stay here again.



We love it here! Its an amazing little getaway.

Rob & Kim are very friendly. Rob came up after about 10 mins to explain the hot tub and chatted about the history of the farm. The place was perfect. Clean & comfy. The deer came up whilst in the hot tub it was magical. Would recommend this place to anyone who wants a nice tranquil break away and who loves walking

Just had an amazing 3 nights at Forest View staying in Bluebell Lodge. As always spotlessly clean, warm and wonderful welcome from Kim & Rob. We did make full use of the hot tub it is brilliant.
Invest in some of Rob's Deer Nuts - spread them out in the mown grass area just before dusk, be sure to be in the hot tub and reasonably quiet at dusk and what the heard of deer come all around you to feast on the nuts. We saw regular 2 of the white deer and usually had about 10 to 15 grazing on the nuts. Unfortunately did not see the large stag and the evening sky was too cloudy for the stars but had wonderful early morning cloudless sky for star gazing.

On arrival we were greated by Rob and Kim who were very warm and friendly. They directed us up to our cabin, All the information we needed and more was supplied in the booklet provided in the cabin but after 10/15 minutes Rob came up to the cabin personally to check we were OK and run through everything including the hot tub and also tell us the history of Forest View which was a really nice touch.
The Cabin itself was spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could want, the views and scenery were amazing and even better taking it in while enjoying the cabins private hot tub, you have the option of buying some deer food in the cabin which we done and put it out on the grass just outside and were not disappointed as the deer came up and ate it so it was a lovely experience seeing them so close.
We wanted a nice chilled and peaceful weekend and thats exactly what we got, we didn't want leave. We will definitely be returning and couldn't rate the place any higher it was fantastic.

As always with Forest View Retreat, any break here is so relaxing. Just sitting and watching the wildlife is amazing. The deer seemed to be around more than ever during this stay and at one point were literally just feet away while I was in the hot tub.

Kim and Rob are such nice friendly hosts and cleanliness was spot on, with extra care taken to ensure COVID precautions in place.

Can;t wait until our next stay at Forest View.

The bluebell has become a little bit of an escape for us. This was our 4th visit to the forest view retreat and it’s not a place we have tired of yet. It’s a place you can go to truly unplug and relax. We love it here and will definitely be back. We love the hot tub and having the Wyre forest literally on the doorstep is fantastic to just go and have a wander. Love it and can’t wait to go back.

This is our perfect place to visit, relax and totally switch off. The location is stunning, the lodges are immaculate and the hosts (Kim and Rob) are very welcoming and friendly. We have visited on many occasions and always look forward to our return visits. The wildlife is outstanding and on this occasion we saw lots of deer each and every day. It was our third visit but first since Covid. It felt totally safe and normal to be there. As usual its very clean and well presented. The peacefulness of the cabins is what makes them the perfect adult getaway. The owners were lovely as usual and had used the time during lockdown to add any touches they may have been missing, for e.g a table at perfect height of the hot tub, for drinks and some astro turf so you wont hurt your feet when you go in and out of the hot tub. Its perfect to unwind and relax and very close to the lovely town of Bewdley. The only and its very small change I would make is to have Wifi. I know its a place to relax and not be disturbed but these days a lot of people would want to watch boxsets etc while relaxing, which you can't really do without Wifi.
We already can't wait for our next visit!

My husband and I spent a few nights away, this was the most tranquil, relaxing place ever. The views and walks were lovely. Stayed for one week from 3rd to 10th August. This was our seventh consecutive year staying at FVR in Bluebell Lodge. We just love it here and we intend to keep coming back every year for as long as we're able to. Kim and Rob are the perfect hosts and will do anything for you during your stay. We've gotten to know them well during these past seven years time and consider them friends. If you really want peace and tranquillity away from the daily grind of life, reduce your addiction to WiFi, then this is the place to stay. If you want to spend all your time at either of the three lodges or, like we do, use it as a base to explore the abundance that the beautiful Worcestershire countryside has to offer, then this is the place to stay! So much to do if you want it, or if you don't, just sit back, relax and absorb the surroundings. An absolute highlight this year was being able to feed the deer each evening using the feed supplied by Kim & Rob. It was incredible to watch them come up so close and tuck in. An amazing place, always very hard to leave but so great to know we'll be coming back!

This property is clean, well-equipped & comfortable but the very best thing is its situation, right on the edge of the Wyre Forest which makes it peaceful & close to nature. There are wild deer & rabbits aplenty, together with horses in the next field & green views all around. To lie in the hot tub looking up at a starry sky, with the only sound being deer galloping past is very relaxing! We have stayed at Bluebell several times & expect to return again & again.

We had booked to go in April for my husband's birthday but due to lockdown we had to reschedule until July. The thoughts of returning to Forest View Retreat again (it is our 4th time) kept us sane. It was lovely to go back and feel normal in this post Covid time. The log cabin's are immaculate and Kim & Rob's cleaning regime was 100% before Covid so apart from having to remove a couple of ornaments it looked the same log cab, with it's beautiful views and amazing hot tub. We saw the deer, we spotted the hares. We are already looking to book in November. On the Sunday we went to to the local pub for a roast. The Forresters, beautiful and welcoming, super food and wonderful ambience with safe social distancing measures in place.

Kim and Rod...what can we say…friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable and accommodating nothing has been left to chance everything you could need has been thought of, from the “Bubbles and Chocs” to the binoculars to watch the awesome wildlife.
The cabin is homely, warm and well equipped for your needs.
We visited in late November, but we still saw quite a lot of wildlife especially the deer whilst relaxing in the hot tub.
To sum up if you want a quiet, relaxing, friendly holiday together here is where you’ll find it.
Kim and Rod, you’ve got it just right.

My partner and i stayed in Bluebell Lodge last weekend for a much needed relaxation break. Our visit far exceeded our expectations and we could not have wanted for a single thing. Everything we thought of was already taken care of.

The grounds are gorgeous, and we saw plenty of deer, and the elusive white deer! Our hosts Kim and Rob were delightful, so kind and efficient and they gave us some poppy seeds to take home. The lodge itself was perfect. The bed was immensely comfortable, the bathroom was huge, and we loved the bath robes provided. The settee was perfect for a snuggle and we loved all the books and games that were available. The kitchen was well stocked, had everything we needed, and there was salt, pepper, cooking oil, tea, coffee, sugar and milk provided.. Even ice for our drinks! We loved the chocolates and bubbly too.

Our favourite part though has to be the hot tub and the outside space. We spent our nights relaxing in the hot tub and our day lying on the sun loungers on the grass as we got lucky with a gorgeous weekend. Everything was spotless, relaxing and it felt like our every thought was catered for without having to ask.

Thank you Kim and Rob for the most peaceful weekend. We have recommended you to all of our friends and we will definitely be staying with you again, very very soon❤️

We stayed at blue bell cottage for the weekend after getting married. As we didn’t get to the cottage after midnight on the Friday night we dropped our car and things off on the Thursday afternoon. The owners were more than accommodating and showed my husband around the place. The cottage is amazing, inside and out! The scenery was beautiful, with deers and rabbits running past your front door. Thank you for an amazing stay. Would recommend to anyone!

The log cabin is an ideal place for a short break for a couple, with a great layout & comfortable facilities within. The greatest aspect of this place, however, is outside the cabin, with a raised deck from which all you can see is green, apart from the bunnies hopping about & the deer passing through now & then. There’s also the hot tub providing the extra bit of luxury. The overall result is peace & relaxation, an oasis in a busy world.

superb. We can't wait to visit for our 4th.
We were so lucky to have hot weather, which meant lots of relaxing outside. We had lots of visits from the deers and rabbits. The deers came so close, even during the day. It was simply fantastic!
We even learnt some fascinating history of the retreat, thanks to Rob.
We only stayed for 2 nights but could of stayed forever. Those 2 days really did the trick. Our batteries are now fully charged and ready to tackle life again.

I stayed at the forest view retreat bluebell cabin over Christmas. Kim and Rob were very welcoming and the cabin itself was beautiful. Everything had been thought of, dvds, games and even binoculars to watch the deer, I was lucky enough to catch a sighting of the white deer. Nicely decorated, comfy, warm and peaceful cabin.

We've been staying at the Forest View Retreat each year since 2013. We keep coming back because we love it here. The stunning location, the peace and tranquillity, the extremely helpful owners (Kim & Rob) are some of the reasons why we keep returning. This year, my wife and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary at the Bluebell Lodge. We had another amazing week. The lodges (there are three) are located on the edge of the Wyre Forest. The abundance of wildlife is a pleasure to behold. There are also countless places to visit within the Worcestershire area if you plan in advance. Can't wait for 2019!

My boyfriend booked a weekend away for my birthday, and it was the best weekend away we have had. The location is just perfect, tucked away with lovely views of the forest and the deers, but not far away from shops and pubs.
The cabin it self was lovely and clean, and as it was a birthday weekend there was happy birthday bunting in the hallway and balloons in the living/dining room. It was a thoughtful touch.
All around it was a fantastic stay, great value for money and will definitely go back again.

Our stay at Bluebell was wonderful from start to finish. It's quite hard to put it into words, but perfection pretty much sums it up! We were immediately greeted by the lovely Kim and Rob, who directed us to where we'd be staying. As soon as we entered the beautiful cabin, we immediately felt at home. We were in awe at the quality of the facilities - the bathroom was a particular highlight, and the bed felt like sleeping on a cloud! Obviously we made sure we got plenty of use out of the wonderful hot tub too, and we were fortunate to stay during a week of amazing weather so we could enjoy the hot tub morning, noon and night.

The entire grounds of Forest View Retreat are so beautiful, and you can tell how passionate the owners are about maintaining the land. It's also really lovely to look out from the bedroom window, or from the decking area, to see an abundance of deer, rabbits and squirrels. We even encountered a stray chicken from one of the neighbouring cottages...he was more than happy to have his photograph taken!

I think the one thing we both loved about our stay at Forest View Retreat was how you felt literally in the middle of nowhere, despite being so close to civilisation. Personally, I also enjoyed the lack of WiFi...it felt great to go off-grid for a couple of days! As soon as we arrived, we said we'd be back as soon as we could, especially to explore more of the surroundings. The entire area is so beautiful, and everyone we met was so happy and helpful. I wish we could've spent more time at Bluebell, but at least we know for future to book for longer!

I also cannot praise Kim and Rob (the owners) enough. They are wonderful people, who go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. When we arrived, Rob had been busy putting decorations up in the other cabin for a newly wed couple who were due to arrive. We both commented on what a lovely and thoughtful gesture that was, and I've never encountered hospitality on the level they were able to provide. They are absolutely fantastic hosts, and what they offer is incredible value for money. We've also lost count of how many times we've recommended Forest View Retreat to family and friends already, and we've been back less than a week!

It's also a break we definitely won't forget in a hurry either - I popped the question...and she said yes!

Spent our first 2 nights as a married couple in Bluebell and we couldn’t have asked for anything more! Kim and Rob were so accommodating, especially as we weren’t arriving until late on our first night, this was no problem! Waking up the next morning and seeing the beautiful Mr and Mrs bunting was such a lovely touch. Bubbles and chocolates went down a treat, and the hot tub was to die for! Wish we spent an extra few nights there, but it’s just another excuse to go back!! It’s the perfect location to getaway to. Thank you so much Kim and Rob! You really do have a gem of a place!!

A truly wonderful relaxing break over 4 days at Forest View. No Wifi, bliss, exactly as wished for, peaceful, quiet and tranquil. Felt refreshed and revitalised, just what was needed. Lodge could not offer anything else, all is provided for, local shops x 2 nearby if needed and good choice of nearby pubs. Added to which lots to see and do - for the Railway enthusiasts try The Severn Valley Railway. For Historic Houses try Witley Court nr Worcester, really interesting and a truly wonderful chapel. For craft visit the Jinney Ring nr Bromsgrove - so much choice and such superb craftmanship. In all a brilliant weekend, would be even better if longer..

Me and my partner really enjoyed our stay at Forest View in the Bluebell Lodge. The attention to detail was perfect and all the little extras made such a difference such as the complimentary wine and chocolate , the dvds , the speakers to play music. Even in the freak snowy weather we had in March if anything it just added to our experience. Rob and Kim couldn't do enough. The cabin itself was just beautiful, gorgeous big bath , really comfortable bed and just a romantic cosy get away. We had such a perfect time and will most definitely be recommending this little gold mine to all of our family and friends. We would love to return in the summer and enjoy the BBQ on the decking!

During my stay in Bluebell Lodge. Well what can I say, it was the most perfect weekend get away. Everything about Forest View Retreat was AMAZING. The cabin it's self was gorgeous, every little detail had clearly been thought about and it was that which made the weekend so comfortable. It was a very modern well displayed clean cabin and I could not fault any second of my stay. The location is great, very close to many local attractions but in all honesty when you see the beauty of the place you are staying in you really do not want to leave the cabin at all. It is right in the forest with the most beautiful sights, every morning, afternoon and night of our stay we were lucky enough to see the Deer's, even the White one. The hot tub is also an amazing thought to this cabin and there is nothing better than sitting in there of a night time watching the wildlife and seeing the views. Over all our stay at Bluebell Lodge was perfect and I can not wait to come back again. Thank you to Kim & Rob for excellent customer service and thank you kindly for having us and making our weekend the best one by far!

This was our second visit and was just as expected just perfect. It had been snowing when we arrived and so saw a completely different outlook on the first and wildlife. The deer were easier to see and we had a fox visit us too. The next day the snow had gone and had another outlook of the amazing view. The lodge was snuggly warm and as usual everything we needed was there including the bottle of bubbly and chocolates, thank you Kim and Rob for a lovely break looking forward to next time xxx

We arrived Christmas Eve to find the lodge tastefully decorated and a present for us under the tree which was a lovely touch. We've stayed before but this was our first time in Bluebell. The bath is enormous! Hot tub wonderful as always. Everywhere spotless. This lodge is especially good for spotting deer, we saw a large group. I hope we get to return again soon. Thank you!

As a young couple me and my partner came here for our first holiday together and we was blown away when we arrived. Kim and Rob are the most lovely hosts that I have met with a huge warm welcome when we arrived. The lodge was incredible and was spotless not even a speck of dust or cobweb, you can tell that they care about the lodges and the people staying in them also. The views are lovely, watching the deer come past aswell as the white one coming up near our lodge. The hot tub was so good, both me and my partner was in it everyday. We was both sad to leave but got a piece of the bluebell lodge to take home with us with the bluebell bulbs we was given to take home which made it extra special. We are defiantly coming back next year.

We had a 4 night break in the Bluebell lodge it was excellent. We had everything we could have needed and much more the bottle of bubbles and chocolate was a lovely extra surprise. The hot tub was just so relaxing we were in it most of the time while watching the wildlife, birds of prey lots of rabbits and deer trotting by. The binoculars were very useful we wish we had taken a better camera. The accommodation was excellent bed very comfortable and seating area to watch the wildlife from indoors too. Will definitely be returning would highly recommend thanks Rob and Kim for a lovely break.

Just got home after a few days away with my wife. Peace and quiet, great accommodation and customer service. Got to see the deer everyday, rabbits and birds. Hub tub is great over looking great views. Every room clean, tidy and everything catered for. So relaxing, thankyou. Coming back next year.

We stayed at Forrest View Retreat for our Mini Moon and it was absolutely perfect! The lodge was spotless! They put mr & mrs bunting up and roses petals on the bed which was a lovely touch. It was so peaceful and beautiful around the lodge & we got to see lots of deer including the white one! Also the hot tub was amazing. It was such a lovely break away after gettImg married, we are hopeing we can come back again at some point in the future and would 100% recomend it to anyone!

The location of Bluebell Cottage gave us a 240 degree view of the forest, which meant we could watch the herd of deer as they walked from the area on the far left to the Bluebell-covered forest floor at the far end. Fully-equipped kitchen and lounge. Bathroom was excellent and felt at home. One of the best subtle aspects of the cottage was the pine aroma from the cabin wood. Thanks Kim and Rob for being so welcoming. Will definitely be back.

The setting for the cabins is beautiful and the interior perfect for a holiday and has everything you could need. Our hosts were so friendly and accommodating. The bluebell log cabin was the perfect get away for us, everything you could think of was provided to ensure a perfect stay. The cabin was stunning and decorated beautifully and with such comfort. Kim by far gave us the best service we have received throughout all of our trips away. Very friendly and ensured everything was perfect for our arrival. I booked this lodge instead of a hotel to celebrate my 40th Birthday and have a couple of nights away with the wife.
Well I am so glad I did, the lodge is absolutely beautiful and set in wonderful quiet surroundings which overlook the wrye forest, with only 2 other lodges it is very peaceful and private.
The lodge was immaculate and the attention to detail made it even more special. The Hot tub is fantastic to sit and relax in on an evening even the jacuzzi bath was great if you don't fancy the hot tub. The beds were very comfy and pillows were great. I can honestly not think of anything negative to say about the place. I have already recommended this to lodge to friends and family so would not hesitate to recommend to anyone reading this. I am already planning my next break for the Wife's Birthday.
To be able to sit and look out the window and watch the rabbits running round and the horses at the gate in the next field. what more could you ask for!

This was our 4th visit to Bluebell Cabin. We can't recommend this place highly enough. The mobile phone signal isn't brilliant and there is no wifi - Perfect! Just to sit in the hot tub and watch the wildlife pass by was a joy. We saw deer, rabbits, numerous types of birds including birds of prey. We were lucky during our visit as the evenings were clear, so we sat in the hot tub stargazing and watching satellites pass overhead. If you want to switch off, get away from everything and totally relax, then Forest View Retreat is the perfect place. We will definitely be returning.

A beautiful location, the lodges are imaculate and give you privacy. You could be anywhere and I am local, very relaxing place.

Plenty of walking and good pubs nearby if you don't want to cook.

Jaccuzi bath is very comfortable as is the outdoor Jacuzzi, especially as deer come up to the lodge well your there.

Me and my fiancé had a wonderful weekend away to the lodge I booked it as a surprise for his 21st birthday, as we arrived I noticed happy birthday banners inside the lodge which was really thoughtful! The lodge was clean and tidy and in such a beautiful area. We had such a great time we didn't leave! There was films to watch games to play it was just so nice to spend quality time together. We went for a meal which was a five minute walk too and that was beautiful! We can not wait to return again! We have reccomended this lodge to everyone and given loads of cards out! What more can I say, other than this place truely is heaven on earth. If your looking to relax, and be oblivious to the world outside then this is the place to be.
The blubell cabin was imaculate and everything you could possibly need was in it, there is not one thing that wasn't thought of. The jacuzzi bath was just divine and just added to the already relaxing break. The views from the cabin were second to none, and it didn't matter in which direction you looked you were surrounded by beautiful views and wildlife just getting on with they're everyday lives.
Now the hot tub, which was used as often as possible, added that luxury element outside, where we could sit in total relaxation while able to watch the deer (lost count how many we seen :-) ), rabbits, numerous variety of birds and the heron. Really felt like we were brought into they're world, while still keeping warm and relaxed.
We will definitely be returning, and wish to thank Kim and Rob for letting us share this wonderful place and leaving us to just get on and relax in heaven.

We had a very relaxing weekend break. Great location really peaceful had really good views with lots of wildlife (deers, rabbits, horses, woodpecker, butterflies & birds). We loved the hot tub spent alot of time in there with a few drinks. Lodge was very clean, comfy had great couple of nights sleep. Also Had a nice walk in woods. We stayed in the Bluebell Log Cabin for two nights. The cabin is very well equipped and spotless. We ordered the food pack which provided local produce, which was very nice. The location is very peaceful and relaxing. We had deer pass close to the cabin and even spotted the white one. Kim was on hand with any problems and made us feel very welcome. Really enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. We had an evening meal in the pub, which is located at the end of the lane. Very nice food served there. We also went to the Wyre Forest Visitors centre and walked along one of the forest trails. Overall an excellent break and will definitely return.

We would highly recommend staying at Bluebell. The food hamper was definitely worth getting and all the items were lovely local produce. It was great being able to just stroll from the cabin into the forest for a walk and it is nicely located for getting around about too.

Stayed here for two nights at the end of June. On arrival we had a warm welcome from Kim and was show how to use the hot tub and Jacuzzi.
The lodge itself was immaculate and very cosy, the location was just lovely with amazing views.
There were plenty of places nearby for food and drinks, and some great locations to visit.

If you're thinking about booking up to stay at the Forest View Retreat, do yourself a favour: stop reading any more reviews and hurry up and book it!

We had such a wonderfully relaxing stay here, and have just booked to return back later in the year for our anniversary. It's simply perfect in nearly every way and I have nothing to say to fault it.

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable, both homely yet luxurious, and feels as though you're a thousand miles away from anyone whereas you're nothing of the sort in actuality.

One small suggestion we left for Kim and Rob was that perhaps an outdoor heater might be nice for those colder evenings where you're not wanting to brave the hot tub (though it's amazing and you'll probably be in it all the time anyway). Other than that there was little we could think to recommend and nothing we would change.

Kim and Rob should be proud of what they have here - I certainly would be if I were them.

Absolute no-brainer to recommend this place and something I've been doing to everyone who'll listen to me ever since I got back!

We normally prefer not to return to a place once we've stayed there, so it is of the highest praise that we look forward to booking again.
Although we would wait until wi-fi has been installed (which apparently is on its way this year), the location is excellent with wonderful woodland to explore and west-midland safari park nearby, which is ideal for penguin lovers...other animals are available.
Of course one need even travel that far since there is an abundance of fauna all around, with deer coming close enough to the marvellous hot-tub to send an easily terrified young lady running for the safety of the indoors and locking a bewildered fiancé out in the cold.
We loved the little touches like the DVD collection and board games (The Archers - the boardgame anyone?).
Kim and Rob are charming and friendly hosts who are disarmingly diligent in their assistance - coming out after 10pm on our last night to try and fix a malfunctioning hot-tub!
So, a great place to indulge and enjoy life. Thanks again to Rob and Kim; we expect to be back to enjoy it all again!

Just returned from a weekend at Forest View Retreat.

This was booked as a present for my partner who spends his life in busy meetings, on the phone, travelling around the country.

What a beautiful peaceful retreat. If you want to get away from the stress and strains of everyday life this is the place for you.

Just 2 cabins, beautifully appointed on the edge of the forest. What more could you ask for?

Each cabin has a hot tub, jucuzzi bath and everything you could need to make your stay just perfect.

Sadly the hot tub was out of action when we visited, but Kim couldn't have been kinder, warning us of the issue before we travelled, offering to change our booking etc. We wanted to continue with our visit and so Kim gave us some money towards a meal at the local pub (The Royal Forresters) which was superb.

Overall a truly wonderful break - would definitely visit again.

Back for the fourth time.I booked a week away for my 65th birthday,on the edge of the Wyre Forest. It is beautiful and peaceful,a get away from daily life. The cabins are amazing, comfortable and clean and very good condition. This is 4 star luxury. Kim and Rob are the perfect hosts,you couldn't ask for more. Just go and book a week, but leave one for me.

I booked a short break for my mom and dad for christmas. They have returned now and really enjoyed there time at forest view retreat. It was in lovely location, and the lodge was immaculate, lovely modern bathroom with massive bath and some lovely personal touch's from kim the owner were really appreciated. Seeing the pictures of the dears in the field was amazing. The hot tub was great on an evening. My mom and dad said they will defiantly be booking again in the future.

This was our second visit and were already trying to book our next one, it's a perfect quiet weekend away to relax in a perfect location the cabin is so clean and homely really couldn't ask for any more !

An amazing cabin with an amazing location! Hot tub was perfect, cabin was warm and cosy, nice and quiet! Couldnt have asked for anything more... apart from time to stand still so I could stay in there forever! Kim and Rob were brilliant too, very welcoming and accommodating.

Honestly, I'd rather go back there than go abroad in the future. It lets you totally relax and forget about everything, you don't have to worry about flights or the language or food. I never came back from any trip away feeling so refreshed.

Kim and Rob gave us a good welcome and answered any queries.Found everywhere to be spotless and cosy and the welcome pack etc. was ideal. Watched 9 deer very close some days. Very relaxing break and Royal Forrester Pub was handy for eating out.

Wow! I took my husband away for his birthday to forest view retreat and all I can say is it was one of the most relaxing breaks we've ever had! wow what a place to relax excellent location lovely and quiet just the ticket to relax and get away from the weekly stress of work. spotless inside cabin looked new when found out it was 8 years old was shocked would recommend this place to anyone its a bit special.

My girlfriend and I had 3 nights at Bluebell Lodge, and it was close to perfect. The lodge was well equipped, clean and had some nice luxuries such as the hot tub and jacuzzi.

We only had a few days at the Lodge so didn't do too much exploring of the local area, but i would recommend a walk in the Wyre forest. There are plenty of paths to follow so we barely saw anyone else in a 4 hour walk, and the woodland itself is beautiful.

We had deer grazing near the lodge every day that we were there, and the last night was spent in the hot tub with a family of 8 deer grazing no more than 5 metres away. I couldn't recommend this highly enough and we will be visiting again.

Kim and Rob have a wonderful retreat for those wanting peace, tranquility and a place to unwind. You could easily imagine yourself miles from civilisation in this haven. The cabins are spotless and extremely comfortable and very private. The addition of a separate hot tub is very welcome and so convenient. No doubt about it. Kim and Rob have got it spot on. We had a really lovely time. We stayed in the lodge for two. The location is great, ever so peaceful (except when a neighbouring farm was having some small building works done but that did only bother us for one day and is not a regular occurance at all) It was a joy to stay here and we were delighted how it catered more for couples without children and pets, as this can be a bit rare.
The hosts, Kim and Rob are so friendly and make you feel very welcome.
The facilities are great and just sitting and watching the wildlife is a must.

We stayed for two nights but could easily have stayed for more. The lodge itself is amazing - has everything you could ever need and more, truly a home from home. And it's set in the most beautiful and calming surroundings, with loads of birds, rabbits and deer to keep us entertained. We nearly cancelled our stay due to the unexpected loss of my Mom a couple of weeks before our stay, but I'm so glad I didn't - it was a perfect break.

Have recently returned from our two night stay and cannot fault it. It was so relaxing and peaceful, surrounded by nature and wildlife.

The cabin was spotless and provided everything we needed for a relaxing break, even tennis rackets and board games. We were lucky to go whilst the weather was nice, so we spent a lot of time outside in the peace and quiet.

Location is great with the safari park very local and easy access to the forest. Hosts were also very helpful- explained what was needed and left us to relax.

Cannot fault this stay, we had such a perfect time. We will definitely be recommending to others and planning a return later in the year!

Wanted a break from it all for our wedding anniversary and this really was a truly relaxing, scenic and welcoming lodge. Being on the edge of the forest meant fantastic wildlife and easy access to the trails. My husband scoffed at the £40 welcome pack was was impressed at all it included and agreed it's definitely value for money. Already looking at dates for a return visit and recommended to friends and colleagues.

The log cabin I stayed in was Bluebell; it was just perfect for my needs. I lead a busy life and just needed to get away from it all and I couldn't have found a better place. The log cabin is surrounded by beautiful woodland with adorable wildlife to sit and watch; the swallows, deer and rabbits. Ideal for reading and chilling out and catching up on some much needed sleep !!

Spent many hours looking for log cabins to stay in on the internet. When we came across Forest View Retreat it looked perfect, how right we're we. Kim and Rob are great hosts,and the lodge and its facilities are just superb. Forest View is the perfect place to spend a romantic and relaxing couple of days away from it all with its great scenery and local deer that come and visit you while you're in the hot tub make this place even better. We were made to feel welcomed and special right from the start by a totally professional outfit and are already planning our next visit to this fantastic place.

We have just returned from a wonderful stay at Bluebell, what an amazing place. Kim and Rob have thought of everything, every little luxurious touch you could possibly think of. We wanted a break away from it all, total R&R and that is exactly what we got. The location is beautiful, lovely views, deer wandering round, and the sound of birdsong.

The lodge is perfect in every way, lots of little touches that made our stay so nice. We loved the spa bath especially. We didn't use the hot tub as it was a little chilly outside. We will definately be back, next time hot tub will be put to full use.

Always said we'd come back after our previous stay in July 2013. We had another amazingly peaceful and relaxing stay at the Bluebell Lodge. As before, we took our mountain bikes so we could cycle around the Wyre Forest. The surroundings and forest views are breathtaking. As for the lodge itself, the hot tub and jacuzzi bath were the ideal way to relax and 'recover' from our cycle rides. It has everything you need for the ultimate escape from the stresses and strains of everyday life...the perfect battery charge. We will be coming back. This was our 2nd visit to Bluebell. We can't speak highly enough about the place. Once again, we were made to feel so welcome by Kim and Rob, they really make you feel special. It's the perfect place to switch off, forget about work and completely relax and unwind. To sit in the hot tub with a glass of bubbly, looking out across the field to the forest and watching the deer and other wildlife in front of you, how can you not unwind. This is a gem of a place. We're so glad we found it. We will continue to return and already looking to book again soon.

We stayed in Bluebell Lodge in early March 2015 for 2 nights for my husband's 50th birthday. The attention to detail from when we arrived to when we left was superb. Kim & Rob take great care in ensuring guests are made to feel very welcome, with lovely extra touches like birthday banners and chocs and bubbly on arrival. The lodge is kitted out with everything you could possibly need. Just bring yourself and food and drink and you will want for nothing.

The rooms are spacious and so very comfortable. And the amenities are second to none. The jacuzzi bath, hot tub and shower are superb. We spent so much time in water we returned positively pruned. And location, location, location ! We sat on our verandah or in the hot tub and marvelled at the Wyre forest and the exuberance of nature. We saw deer, rabbits, red kites, herons to name but a few. It is so utterly relaxing to sit and watch nature and though the two lodges are set fairly close to one another. We were not disturbed once by our neighbours. You really feel like you are in your own private little piece of heaven.

You can choose to do absolutely nothing - which is mainly what we did - or for the more active and intrepid visitors, the forest boasts some beautiful walks. We ventured into the forest on a wood-gathering exercise and watched the bikers and ramblers from a distance when they passed through on occasion. A fantastic ceramic fire pit is available and we had an impressive fire on the Saturday night under a starlit sky. A bbq is also available if you fancy some al fresco dining and comfy loungers for sun-bathing. We even discovered tennis rackets and boules for those who like some games activity.

We will be returning as soon as we can to share this wonderful place with family and friends where possible. Fantastic value for money if there are 4 of you and a very special and worthwhile treat for just the two of you. We didn't spend a penny during our stay as brought all our food and drink with us but there is a great pub only 5 minutes walk down the lane if you want to eat out within walking distance and another great eaterie, the Running Horse (where we had eaten previously) only a 5 minute drive away.

My partner and I wanted to get away for a couple of nights for a relaxing break and that is exactly what we got! The Log cabin was absolutely amazing and extremely clean and comfortable, we especially like the jacuzzi bath and hot tub on the balcony. We were kindly greeted by Kim who made us feel very welcome and the chocolates and champagne was a lovely touch! My partner and I wi most definitely be returning.

Stayed in bluebell for 2 nights wished it was longer. Had a perfect get away from it all weekend very peaceful location but some nice market towns close by. Made the most of the hot tub and had a visit from the deer which was lovely. The accomodation was very clean and comfortable. Will definately be going back.

What a perfect, relaxing, romantic place to stay. Which is owned by such a helpful lovely couple, both cabins are in a perfect location not to far away from Kidderminster centre but far enough away to be able to relax. We will be returning and have already recommended Forest view retreat to loads of our friends. Thank you again for a lovely stay

Recently back for the 3rd time, to celebrate my 64th birthday. Enjoyed 3 night's with plenty of peace and quiet. Perfect location next to forest for long walks.Someone complained no Wi Fi, GET A LIFE,you go there to get away from it all. Thank you Kim and Rob for a wonderful time again.

We had a fantastic time, Kim and Rob are always so happy to help, and could not do enough for us. The cabin is absolutely beautiful, finished to a really high standard and it's so clean!! This is our second visit to Bluebell lodge- it lived up to all the amazingness from the first time and more. The added hot tub to the balcony makes it even more romantic. We stayed for two nights but instantly wanted longer. The gorgeous views whilst using the hot tub are to die for, groups of deer grazing in front of ur cabin whilst eating breakfast was an extra bonus. Clean, relaxing and romantic place to get away and we will definitely be returning in the future.

This is our 3rd stay at Bluebell and we are never disappointed, It is a beautiful cabin with everything you need in the most beautiful setting. Now that the cabin has its own hot tub on the decking it is even more perfect than it was before if that's possible! It was our first time staying at Bluebell Lodge and it was everything we'd hoped it would be.
We had such a relaxing and lovely time. The cabin its self is beautifully kept and has all the amenities you will need for your stay! The hot tube is a brilliant touch too! We were in it every night! We have recommended the cabin to family and friends and cant wait for our return in the very near future!

We wanted to get away for a few days to switch off and unwind. We couldn't have chosen a better place. Kim was the perfect host, nothing too much trouble and she was extremely helpful and friendly. She showed us the lodge and explained how things worked, for example the shower, jacuzzi and the amazing hot tub. We tried the local pub / restaurant as recommended and had a fantastic meal and it's only a 5 minute walk from the lodge! (You need a torch in the evening as it really is pitch dark walking down the lane - even the torch was provided!). To sit in the hot tub and watch the deer and the wildlife only yards away was idyllic. We left thoroughly refreshed and will definitely return, only longer next time. Anyone wanting to get away from it all won't fail to be impressed with Forest View Retreat.

stayed in bluebell lodge for two nights 24th-26th October. Me and my wife had am amazing time, everything was perfect from start to finish, the log cabin is out of this world and the hot tub is just amazing, we already can't wait to go back. Waking up to see deer both mornings made it even more of an excellent experience too! We ate out both nights first night the running horse pub just a few minutes drive from the lane very nice food, the second night we drove to a little villiage called Rock Villiage where we ate in a country pub called Rock Cross Inn and that was beautiful homemade cooked food. Saturday we went into Bewdley for the day and that was lovely too! Can't recommend this place enough to people.....you won't regret booking. Many thanks to Kim and Roy for our bottle of champagne and chocs too. Also Kim and Roy are very lovely and welcoming people!

The outside tub on the patio is a fantastic addition.

It was so nice to return back to Forest View for my 40th birthday. The addition of decorations put up by Rob and Kim was a lovely touch and well appreciated. We had an amazing first wedding anniversary weekend where we were able to relax and chill out in beautiful surroundings and a gorgeous cabin. Everything was provided which you needed including personal touches which made us feel very welcome.

This weekend break was a 60th birthday treat from the family. We had a truly relaxing time in lovely surroundings. The lodge is very well equipped, with a spacious bathroom with both walk in shower and Jacuzzi bath. The towels and robes were lovely - thick, soft and luxurious! We thoroughly enjoyed using the hot tub on the decking area - a little bit of heaven! It was great watching the deer wandering past in the evening. Finding five deer - 2 mothers, 2 babes and a 3rd adult literally feet away from the lodge on Sunday morning was a real treat! Our only slight 'niggle' is that we didn't find the settee particularly comfortable. However this would not stop us from visiting again by any means!

We had a lovely short break here in the log cabin Bluebell, the property has all one would need, and the Welcome Pack and ice in the freezer were much appreciated. We really enjoyed the hot tub as well, and although we only had time for a couple of nights, we felt well rested and recharged because it was so peaceful. We had a good day out on the Severn Valley Railway which took us back to a more elegant time and way of travel! And the farm shop nearby was great for food, and ordered some lovely fish for us as well. Altogether a very pleasant break.

What can I say apart from what an amazing break we had, kim and rob are so lovely and helpful nothing is to much trouble.
We stayed for 2 nights and enjoyed the break away it was so peaceful,we enjoyed a walk in the forest as was a nice sunny day and there is a nice pub a short walk away the forester we had a lovely meal there:) the lodge we stayed in bluebell was lovely we didn't want to leave but have booked again for next year. This was our fourth visit to this lovely cabin. As always we had a lovely welcoming personal greeting from Kym and Bob. The cabin was clean and welcoming and a surprise easter egg and bottle of champagne was chilling in the fridge. Although we didn't get to see the deer this visit there is still lots of wildlife to see if you are a twitcher you will be in paradise! We always plan to use the cabin as a base but it is so comfortable and well stocked with everything you need we were always glad to come back and enjoy the peace and quiet. All you need to take is your food everything else and I mean everything else is provided for you. The one thing that was missing was some sunshine! but the cabin is so close to other amenities we found something to do even in the cooler weather - close to the west mids zoo, Kidderminster and Bewdley as well as some lovely places to eat. You must try The Stone Manor at Stone for a chicken flambé and the Foresters at the end of the path serve an exceptional sunday lunch. The bed is really comfy and the shower, Jacuzzi bath and hot tub are a real pamper!!!!!!!!

I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone - worthy of all the accolades it has been given. Only tip I can give is there is no internet so you might as well leave your laptop at home until internet is considered by the owners!!!!!!! See you soon!!!!!!!

My girlfriend and I booked a weekend at the Bluebell Lodge to get away from things as we both have high stress jobs and needed to recharge our batteries. And we couldn't have picked a more perfect place to do this.

The lodge itself is beautiful with every possible facility available. Kim and Rob made us feel very welcome and Kim came up to the lodge to explain how to use the jacuzzi bath, the space age shower (which is tremendous!) and the hot tub! There was a complimentary bottle of bubbly in the fridge and a little box of chocolates too!

A very short drive into Bewdley gave us access to a small but amply stocked supermarket...not that we were intending to do much cooking - but for those who are - you'll find most everything you need there.

As the description of the lodge states, there is a pub - The Royal Forrester - just a short walk away (5 mins or less) which is a great country style pub with good food and even a few decent ales on draught. The staff there are friendly and we found the food and service to be of good quality.

We will not hesitate to go back to Bluebell again and can highly recommend to anyone looking for a short break (or long for that matter) away from the rat race!

Very good overall however remote location and bad weather meant we were limited to what we could do.

Also woken up early on day of check out although agreed a later time. Need to stick to times agreed and not come knocking too early!

I could not let you stay any later that morning as I had a guest arriving that day and had to clean your cabin. For future reference you can purchase a late check out of 4pm if it's available. Forest View Retreat has got to be the most relaxing short break away we have ever had. It was so peaceful and private and the facilities in the cabin were excellent, we didn't need to go out and get anything whilst we we there. The hot tub was amazing to sit in just as the sun was going down. The cabin was very comfortable and really clean. Rob and Kim the owners were welcoming and friendly. Lovely to have a bottle of champagne in the fridge on arrival. We were there for two days and didn't see the infamous deer although we were looking out for them every 5 minutes! Upon departure we were loading up the car with our bags and spotted about 10 deer in the corner of the field. Worth the wait! We will definitely be booking up again and hope to be coming back to stay at the Bramble lodge with friends later in the year. We have already recommended this to lots of people. Thank you for a brilliant time.

The cabin was very tidy and clean with all the amenities needed (though possibly could have used an extra kitchen towel). We really liked the hot tub and the champagne provided was certainly nice with it. Kim, who showed us around was very friendly and helpful, as was the book they left with further information.
Bluebell was a great size, in a great location and I would love to stay again.

You won't be disappointed! Amazing cabins and location for a quiet few days away from it all. Perfect hosts too. The cabins are really romantic and the spa bath and jet showers are amazing.

My partner and I stayed in this wonderful retreat 1st dec as a short break and early birthday treat. From the moment we arrived we instantly fell in love with bluebell lodge. The place was spotless and Kim was so warm and welcoming. Our stay was wonderful and peaceful we was lucky enough to even see the deer at night it's fantastic value for money as everything you wanted was there. We had an amazing weekend there, very relaxing cabin set in a beautiful area. We went for walks in the forest through the day and then relaxed at night in the outdoor hot tub.. Which for us was the best part. Will definitely go back.

Bluebell Lodge is in a wonderful location - the deer came to see us each day against a backdrop of Autumnal colour, the heron fished his pond every morning and the buzzards watched us from the trees.
Perfectly placed for visiting Ludlow (we love foodie shops and history) at only 17 miles (via some stunning scenery at Clee Hill )the log cabin is quiet, extremely comfortable and very well kitted out (I even had to leave some of my kitchen utensils in my baggage).The jacuzzi bath was great for chilling out in if it was too chilly for the hot tub.
There is no wi-fi and no 3G here so if you plan to bring any work - don't bother, you just have to relax instead.
We loved that this is an adults only retreat and will definitely be visiting again next year.

We have stayed at Forest View Retreat a few times now and it is perfect. It is in a beautiful setting and so peaceful, there are lovely walks in the forest and places to visit in the area but one of our favourite things to do is to sit on the veranda watching for the deer. It really is our 'get away from it all' hideaway! Kim and Rob are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble - love the wine and chocolates on arrival.

The lodge has been provided with everything you could need, from dishwasher to picnic hamper.
The 2 lodges are placed so that they do not overlook each other (or the hot tub) but do look out over the field to the trees, so when the deer come each morning and evening they are easy to see.

There is loads of space inside - the bathroom is as big as a bedroom! - and outside you are on the edge of the Wyre Forest without being enclosed by the trees.

Kim provided extra little touches that make it special. It is not only the chocolates but the decor too that shows her touch.

The location on the edge of a forest sounds isolated but there is plenty to do, even though my wife insisted we cycled into Bewdley I did make it back.

This was a fantastic stay and we are definitely coming again. It's perfect to get away from kids, noise and pollution. It's very adult friendly and offers everything in way of outdoor activities, indoor comfort and relaxation and the added magic of deer on your door step. Beat that!
