Fern Lodge is a modern one bedroom Lodge that sleeps two adults. It has an airy open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area with oak furniture and large Free View tv and DVD player. The bedroom has a Kingsize bed and built in wardrobes with a large en suite bathroom with a large free standing bath and separate shower. Outside you have a large decking area and below is your own private covered hot tub. There is also a private patio area with table and chairs to the side of the cabin.

This was our second stay, but our first time in Fern Lodge. What can I say? This place never fails to amaze us both. The Lodge was amazing, so comfortable, clean and just so well presented. The new touch of including deer food was a great new touch. We put it to good use and on one evening had at least 17 deer right outside our cabin munching away on the food while we were in the hot tub. As ever the hot tub got plenty of use, it's so relaxing and the setting is so tranquil. We were looked after by Rob (as a stand in) lol and he couldn't do enough for us but just left us to enjoy the peace and quiet. Thank you so much for another wonderful stay. We are already looking to book up again next year and even make it a yearly thing.

Nothing was too much trouble for Lucy and Rich. On our 1st visit we commented on the hot tub being a little bit awkward to get in due to being slightly infirm. Lo and behold on our second visit Rich had provided a support rail so getting in and out was a lot more easy . A very comfortable and peaceful stay.

We had a beautiful stay at Fern Lodge, the deer were there when we arrived and they are very people friendly. The lodge was spacious clean and had everything we required. We didn't get chance to go for a walk due to the weather but that didn't stop us getting in the hot tub. Highly recommended for a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Thank you to Lucy & Rich. We will definitely be returning:)

Can’t fault anything. We had a very relaxing bank holiday weekend . Owners very welcoming and friendly and hard working. . Fern lodge was amazing. Decor / furnishings all to high standard . Found the hot tub very relaxing all your troubles just disappear the view and all the open space was wonderful. The deer an extra added bonus . Will re visit soon

If your looking for a totally relaxing break away from the real world, forest view retreat is the place.we've stayed at fern lodge twice now and its amazing.it comes equipped with everything you need for your stay inside the lodge and the hot tub over looking the wyre forest whilst feeding the deer is unreal,i recommend it to anyone who just wants to wind down and chill.the owners are really friendly and helpful too⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely and amazing break. Fern Lodge is indescribable!! beautiful and tranquil. quiet area surrounded by deer, rabbits.

Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay wonderful, cannot fault the lodge in anyway. Has everything you can think of, with the addition of a hot spa, complimentary wine and chocs x The lodge was so nice that we did not want to leave. Will return.

Where do I begin? What a beautiful lodge it is, was my first time staying in any lodge and boy it didn't disappoint. Stunning views from the hot tub with special guests the deers so cute. Would highly highly recommend this place to everyone, even told my whole family. Can't wait to come back.

We stayed in fern Lodge for my partners 40th birthday weekend. From the second we arrived we fell in love with the place, the welcome we got was so warming and the hosts were so helpful and accommodating. The lodge itself we can only describe as amazing! so beautiful and clean. The location of the hot tub was perfect with a beautiful view and the deers just made it extra special. We had the most amazing and relaxing weekend and will definitely return in the future. Thankyou ❤️

We have come here 3 times over the past 6 years and it is still as good as the first stay, it is such a relaxing holiday, spending in the hot tub and even feeding the deers at the same time, It is a lovely holiday if you are just looking to put your feet up and having a nice drink in the hot tub. This year we were lucky enough that Ludlow races were on at the same time and had a successful day there as well, it took about 30-40mins by car.
All in all Highly Recommended.

My wife and I like so many people today really needed a break from the day to day. We have never been to a log cabin before but wanted to do something different from the usual holidays (which can be stressful all on there own).
We arrived at reception to be greeted by Rob and Kim who were genuinely a lovely sincere couple who went out of their way to make us feel welcome, the cabin itself was outstanding and we genuinely felt at home immediately and a herd of deer was there to greet us as well.
We spent the next two days chillaxing, hot tub,feeding the deer and short walks, there are numerous places to eat near the lodge and we had some amazing meals, just ask Rob or Kim for recommendations.
All in all it was exactly what we needed and I can't recommend this place strongly enough, we will definitely be going there again.

We stayed & it was outstanding overall.
it has everything from home in a lodge. everything worked fully everything was new & inviting. The bed was so comfy, The bath & hot tub & shower was in full working order, clean & very spacious too. Very warm & cosy with a complementary bottle of milk, bottle of wine & box of chocolates which was a lovely surprise & touch of class. Kim & Rob were very welcoming & gave us full instructions of how to use everything & all instructions for appliances were left in the guest book. Also local amenities & attractions were given too. Special touch was deer food to encourage the 40+ free roaming deers & stags to encourage them to come right up to the patio & hot tub. A bbq is available too for the warmer weather with a decking area which is undercover. 10,000 acres of woodland & forests that are so picturesque that you could be almost anywhere in your mind in the tranquil surroundings of the lodge.

Wow! What can I say, we booked this knowing I had surgery 2 months before we were coming as I needed a break. I have to say it was well and truly a relaxing break. The owners were so welcoming and pleasant. The cabin was beautiful, well looked after and clean. There is all the utensils you need for cooking and equipment for washing up and cleaning. The bathroom was stunning with multiple washing facilities and even given a gown for your stay.
Amazing little area! Nice and quiet.
We loved watching the deers coming past in the day and late at night. When we were in the hot tub they would pop and say hello.
The hot tub was also amazing, nice and clean as well as relaxing. We would sit in there for hours.
I would definitely recommend to family and friends. We would definitely return again for a peaceful break away.

This was our 6th visit to the Forest View Retreat and our 5th consecutive stay at The Fern Lodge. We simply can't fault the place, which is why we continue to return so regularly. From the moment we arrive, we unwind and detach from the world. The only thing that occupies our minds is relaxation and enjoying the lodge itself, the hot tub and the wildlife. We've made so many wonderful memories over the years and hope to continue to do so for many more years to come. If you're thinking of coming yourself - do yourself a favour and just book it already! You're wasting time by dithering - you won't regret it.

This was the most perfect place to stay. It's accessible yet secluded, a proper retreat. The location is beautiful, with just three chalets which overlook a beautiful meadow leading down to the woods. Deer graze nearby and will visit you as you sip champagne in the hot tub! You can sit outside on a shaded balcony or in the sun, or enjoy the view from the large windows. The accommodation is high-quality, with large comfortable beds and bathrooms to die for. There is everything you could possibly want.
Within easy walking distance there is an excellent pub with lovely friendly staff and good food. A little further on there are other pubs and Bewdley is only about three miles away - a very pretty riverside town making the most of its situation with bars and restaurants along the waterside and access to long walks along the Severn. Three days here flew by and we wished we could have had much longer.

What can I say? , Fern Lodge did not disappoint from start to finish .
On arriving I was welcomed by Kim who directed us to our cabin , Rob was at the neighbouring cabin so proceeded to show how to use the hot tub and give us some useful information on the area .
The cabin was spotless and the furnishing was beautiful . The land to the rear was stunning with deers visiting nightly .
We had such a peaceful break without any issues .
I highly recommend Forest View Retreat and definitely will be visiting again x

Spent a lovely weekend relaxing, enjoying the surroundings and the wildlife. The deer come almost to the door. Lots of lovely walks on the doorstep.
Fern Lodge, is very comfortable. Has all the amenities you need for self-catering. The hot tub of course, is the icing on the cake.

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights in Fern lodge. We always wanted to stay in a cabin but struggled as neither of us drive. Forest view retreat was perfect as you feel like you are away from the world but still close enough to explore if you want to. We are from Birmingham so it was about a 40 minute journey our family drove us there.
Getting to the lodges we did take a wrong turn but we did find it (you feel as though your driving through someones drive way) The reception is actually a house where you can find kim and rob if you need anything and also check in here. Rob showed us to our lodge and how to use the hot tub ect very informative and helpful.

The actual lodge we cant fault at all. The hot tub was great, the bathroom was beautiful i loved the bath, very clean and has everything you need there. We was asked not to touch the temperature in the lodges but can call if we need anything but if im honest it was warm enough we didnt feel cold inside there at all. The bathroom has a heated towel rack which kept the bathroom lovely and warm at all times. The bed was comfy and enough pillows ect. Good amount of wardrobe spaces and enough mirrors for getting ready.
The kitchen had everything you could need for cooking and lots of space to store everything.
We was surprised how close the lodges are together but the design of the fencing provides enough privacy to feel comfortable using the hot tub, the design is great!
Provided for us was towels for inside use only (you have to bring a towel to use for hot tub which is fine), bathroom essentials like toilet paper , soap ect, nice little mini cream, body wash ect. In the kitchen there was dishwasher tablets, sponge, washing up liquid ect. There was a box of chocolates and a bottle of white wine in the fridge for us on arrival these was also a lovely little touch ! We loved the white robes provided for us these was amazing we wore them almost all the time we really loved these!
Rob came to check on the hot tub ph levels of a morning. We didnt ask for anymore towels ect as we didnt feel we needed anymore but im sure if we rang/asked kim and rob that they would have no issue with providing more.

We brought enough food ect with us as we wasnt sure about what was around the area. There is a pub literally round the corner, you would exit the driveway from the lodges onto the main road and turn left and its right there i believe they serve breakfast lunch and dinners if you would want to visit. Rob said there is a shop about a 10/15 min walk away if needed also. Go ape is not far and also the town centre if you drive might be nice to go visit.

The forest is right in front of the cabins and there is wild deers that live there. They can be skittish so let them come to you. We took apples and carrots for them to eat cut them up small and they went down a treat! We threw them on the grass fields the first day and could see them eating it a few hours later from a distance. The second day we threw some around the cabin, outside of our doors and also a bit further back and we decided to go in the hot tub and wait. About half hour later the deers came and was right next to our hot tub! It was lovely to see and we got some great photos/videos! There is a little table provided which is handy to keep your phone, a drink, snacks, towel on ect.
There is a big tub of deer food provided in the lodge if you choose to purchase for £5 its a big amount so well worth it to attract the deers to come closer also.

We went for some nice short walks from our cabin through the forest following the trail like rob advised and continued to go left and came across some horses towards the end of the walk there was 3 at the time and they came right up to the gate so friendly so must be used to people going past.

There is a guest book in the cabin that allows you to leave feedback on your stay and also was lovely to read about other peoples stay too. We filled this out on our last morning.

Overall we loved our 3 night stay here and are 100% going to come back again ! We are deciding when we can come next year and will see what its like in the summer time. Its more than we expected it to be . I cant pick any faults at all. If you are looking at this place and are unsure then dont be ! You will not be disappointed.

Such a lovely place to stay, the lodge was spotlessly clean and has everything you would need, a home from home. A nice quiet place to stay, with a great hot tub to past the day away in, watching the wildlife and the deer's. Kim and Rob are lovely people.

This was our fifth visit to the Forest View Retreat, having first visiting the Bluebell Lodge and then booking the Fern Lodge for each subsequent visit as it became our favourite.

What we love about it is that from the moment we open the door, we're instantly transported back to the very first time we visited and how magical it felt - and the magic doesn't go away. So each subsequent visit triggers more and more memories and emotions from previous visits, making each stay at least as special as the others if not more so (though the very first visit will perhaps always stick in our minds the most).

As is often the case, the deer are a particularly special treat. On this latest visit they were out in force and the tub of deer food (a large tub provided inside the lodge for a small supplementary charge of just £5) went down very well for our four-legged visitors. We ended up giving them some leftover grapes and strawberries that we didn't get around to eating ourselves, which they gobbled down too.

We didn't venture into the forest this time around but have done on previous visits and it's a relaxing way to while away a few hours as you head off to see where your feet take you. We went to the the Royal Forrester as we often do during our stay and had another lovely meal there. The Plough didn't live up to the recommendations of both family and previous guests in the guest book but perhaps we were just unlucky as it does seem very popular for the majority.

If you're thinking of booking up for The Forest View yourself, you're in for a treat. If you're wondering which one to go for, The Bluebell is situated with the wider views of the forest itself and you're perhaps more likely to see the deer in that one, The Fern is the opposite end of where the three are situated and is a little more modern having been built more recently, and the Bramble sits between the two. We've never felt overlooked in either and although The Bramble had guests whilst we were there, we never really saw the guests, including when they were outside, so whichever one you opt for you'll have privacy and relaxation.

It's never difficult to recommend The Forest View, and nothing's too much trouble for Rob and Kim, so do yourself a favour and make your booking today - we'll be returning ourselves next year, I'm sure.

Forest view retreat is by far my favourite weekend getaway. From booking to arrival the customer service is amazing. Once you have booked you receive informative emails and as soon as you arrive the hosts are already there ready to greet you at their home. The cabins are spotless, very open and modern, with everything you would need for your stay and additional extras. On request they will go out of their way to add little touches, for example, we added into our booking that it was our anniversary the day we arrive and they put a lovely banner up and a few decorations with a chocolate milk tray on the table surrounded by little glass hearts and a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. It’s those finishing touches that make it more special. Let’s not forget the private hot tub! Me and my partner have been about 5 times now and will continue to return. The first time we came we only saw 3 deers but as the years have gone on more and more access the land. Our latest stay, deer food was provided in a big tub, donation required to cover costs. This was the icing on the cake for me this year. I love nature and I kid you not, we had over 18 deers surrounding the back of the cabins and I loved feeding them. We even managed to go in the hot tub and have the deers approach an arm length away. Can’t wait to return and I have recommended Forest view retreat to many family members and friend. Highly recommend, get booking!

The Fern Lodge was wonderful, from the property itself, to the multitude of places in the surrounding areas.

We took this short vacation to rest from the our usual city life & work, and it was perfect. It provides everything you need to rest as much as you want, and adventure if you prefer to. Would highly recommend this to any couple. We emplore people to buy food near by & prepare it yourself as it has a wonderfully outfitted kitchen -- though there are pubs & restaurants around if you feel like a take-away or a walk down the country road. & THE HOT TUB! -- just a wonderful cherry on top of the already tasty cake, watching the clouds envelop the setting sun, as deer graze in the nearby field. A lovely time!

Huge thanks to the hosts for maintaining the Lodge so well, and providing freedom during our stay! We are raring to return ASAP, potentially with another couple in the larger Lodge. Thank you!

A beautiful relaxing stay at Fern Lodge, like always. Kim and Rob are the best hosts. Our stay was amazing, we had a lovely time feeding the deers and seeing them up so close whilst we were relaxing in the hot tub. The wye forest is beautiful and we enjoyed our walks through it. We had a lovely day out in Bewdley Town, sitting alongside the river. We will definitely be returning. Forest view retreat is our favourite place xx

You have to go to understand how amazing the lodges are they are relaxing and Stunning, They have everything you need to such a high standard .Location fantastic ,Deers "wow" hosts so friendly and knowledgeable. This lodge helps to provide you with the break that you didn't know you needed. Kim & Rob are the perfect hosts; there if you need them but not imposing in the slightest. We had reasonable expectations; but they were all exceeded; and what can be beat sitting in the hot tub; watching the sun go down as the deer come and graze a few feet away from you. The lodge itself was brilliantly equipped whilst being lovely and clean; with lots of little touches everywhere. We certainly didn't want to leave on the morning of the checkout. Now just to find time to go back!

We had a fab relaxing break. When we arrived we were surprised how good it was and especially how clean, that’s a big factor for myself.
Everything you need was in the cabin, all you needed to do was take food.
The only thing I’d say for the kitchen is there was no food waste bin but that didn’t matter.
Location is fab, like a 5 min drive from bewdley and go ape and West Midlands safari park so close. We know for next time now!
We had a meal in the forester inn and the end of the road. We walked down which took no time at all, had a lovely meal. Probably the best steak we’ve had in a while. Had a few to drive and made our way back. Nice and easy to know we didn’t have to drive.
The hot tube was a great extra and was relaxing, even the deer came to pay us a visit.
Rob came round shortly after we arrived and gave us some local information and was very helpful. Both rob and Kim were lovely.

The main thing for me was when we got there I felt at home. It’s so comfortable and spacious.

Kim added a few little touches too as it was our 8th wedding anniversary.

We shall definitely be back!!

We had the most amazing time at the lodge, we were blown away firstly by our welcome, Kim & Rob were so welcome and really took the time to let us know about our stay, the local area and the history of the place. The view from the lodge and surrounding areas are beyond comprehending. We had originally planned to head out and sight see but the site was so beautiful, we stayed put. The lodge itself was super clean & had lovely touches throughout. The wildlife was also incredible, including deer coming right up to us at the lodge! We are already looking forward to returning for longer next year!

Stayed at Fern Lodge and celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary. The "Happy Anniversary" banner was a lovely touch as we walked through the door. The chocs and wine were also much appreciated. Rob and Kim are excellent hosts, very warm and friendly. Rob is very knowledgeable about the local area. Rob and Kim are always on hand to help but never intrusive. Feeding the deers was such a magical experience (thanks for the gift of an extra tub of food). Cannot stress highly enough just how relaxing and wonderful our stay was. Listening to the birds tweeting and watching and feeding the deers was just devine. Lodge was very clean and tidy. Drinking prosecco in the hot was spot on. Local pubs nearby so we hardly ever ate in. Loved it so much we have booked to return next year. A gem of a place!

If you are thinking about staying here do it! It may seem expensive to some but it is worth every penny and more! This is our second stay and we want to do it every year. It is just absolutely beautiful. Rob and Kim are wonderful people who offer amazing advice on things to do aswell as keeping the cabins pristine. They make sure you have basics on arrival like milk, coffee etc aswell as chocolates and champagne which is just such a lovely touch. There is not a more relaxing, quiet and peaceful place to stay in the UK and I was just as blown away the second stay as I was the first.

Fantastic place, stunning views, very clean, will definately be visiting again, love this holiday. Asked my girlfriend to marry me in this lodge, she said yes.
The ideal romantic getaway for any couple, bottle of bubbly and chocs as a gift when you arrive, lovely hot tub overlooking the beautiful Wyre Forest, with wild deers and rabbits coming up to almost your back door. So quiet and peaceful, and so relaxing.
The owners are lovely people with a great business model. Cant wait to visit again.

A short early Spring break was rewarded with good weather for the 3 days of our stay. The property was in excellent condition and great thought had gone into providing all the items that might be required during our stay. A good location for walks in and around the Wyre Forest with many local pubs with good food for eating out if you are inclined to do so.
Our Hosts Rob and Kim take pride in the facilities and service they offer and are on hand to offer support if required.

A very clean and well appointed lodge. Nice and friendly hosts. good to see the deer so close to the lodge when you put out the feed for them. The hot tub is a very welcome bonus. Its a nice walk to the Wyre forest Centre through the forest from the lodge.
There are plenty of pubs in the area ,serving good food and cafes serving all day breakfast if thats your thing!!
This is a good place get away from things and just put your feet up, or go for country walks and then relax in the hot tub at the end of your day,

Had the best time. The weekend exceeded our expectations everything was perfect. Even though the weather was cold and rainy the hot tub was lovely and hot..we also tried dottys afternoon tea which was delicious and delivered to our door. Wish we could have stayed longer it was so perfect and we are already looking to book out next visit. We stayed in November & were blessed with good weather.
Log cabin was all that we hoped it would be & we felt at home straight away.
Outlook from cabin was wonderful & was made even better when the deer came & visited us.

Just spent a wonderful 4 nights at Fern Lodge. We are regulars at Forrest View. Kim & Rob never fail to excel with their hospitality and properties. Feeding the deer we had regular visits day and evening and had the big stag on the lawn twice. Only downside ( which Kim & Rob have no control over ) was cloudy nights so we couldn't star gaze in the hot tub of a night. Will be back next year.

This was our fourth stay at the Forest View Retreat and our third in the Fern Lodge, and we're returning visitors for a reason. There's something magical about the place in which, from the moment you get there, you just instantly relax. There's just nothing to think about, nothing missing that you need, just relaxation in perfect surroundings. Everything is always super clean (nothing to do with Covid-19, they've always been meticulous in this respect) and Kim & Rob are very accommodating hosts. As has been the case from our very first stay back in 2016, we have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Forest View, just as long as you don't book the time we want to go! ;-) Honestly, book up and enjoy a wonderful stay yourself - you won't regret it.

Excellent accommodation, Rob and Kim, our hosts, thought of everything to make a holiday perfect. Clean, modern, huge bathroom and comfy bed. We had a delightful holiday and cannot wait to go back. We booked Fern Lodge having seen it on the internet. We were unfamiliar with the area but were attending our granddaughter's wedding at the nearby Safari Park. We were greeted by Kim and Rob and felt straight away that we had made the right choice. The lodge was immaculate inside and out, comfortable and well equipped. The natural rural surroundings were just what we needed and being able to stroll the paths to the pond a joy. It was fascinating to watch the rabbits at close quarters. The highlight though had to be the nightly visits of the deer coming for their supper just a couple of feet from us.
Much as we love our grandchildren, we did appreciate the peaceful atmosphere of a child-free break. Would recommend to anyone.

Myself and my wife came for a little honeymoon stay in the cabin it is so beautiful and relaxing,
We really loved the peaceful environment feeding the deers seeing them and the rabbits daily was lovely. It was so lovely spending time in the hot tub too and all the additional things provided eg bath robes, spa and bath products and also the champagne and chocolates that were left for us was a truly kind and welcoming touch..
The cabin was very well presented clean, tidy modern and very comfortable we really enjoyed our stay we will definitely be returning for another stay soon.

Was looking for a getaway and a nice break with my partner for ages, came across this little gem of a place, only an hours drive from us and the perfect place we we’re looking for.
It’s surrounded by beautiful landscape and woodland, the wildlife is plentiful and peaceful, the cabin itself is modern and comfortable with everything you could ever need, kitted out with a lovely kitchen and bathroom, with a bed that’s so comfortable I can’t remember being in it I fell asleep that fast.
I could go on about the things me and my partner enjoyed about this place but ultimately what are you doing reading reviews? get booking! You won’t regret it.
Looking forward to staying again, and getting away from the hustle and bustle for a few nights in bliss.

Really amazing couple of days, only regret is that we weren't there longer.

The owners we so flexible and accommodating allowing us to reschedule after the covid uncertainty.

The instructions regarding covid were clear and sensible, plus came in advance so we could plan ahead.

The site was easy to find, felt very safe and the welcome upon arrival was very thoughtful. Prosseco and chocolates were gratefully received!

The lodge was beautifully kitted out, with everything we needed. The hot tub a major bonus. All very comfortable.

We were lucky enough to be visited by the wild deer and rabbits each night, which made it extra wonderful.

Being so close to Wyre forest and Bewdely were a real bonus, both worth a visit!

We know it's 2021, but still it was heartening to be welcomed and greeted so warmly as a gay couple. It makes such a difference.

Thanks again to our hosts, we will definitely book again.

Beautifully presented lodge in a fabulous location. Our hosts were very welcoming & friendly. The hot tub is the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring Wyre Forest, watching the deer & rabbits.

We stayed here for my fiancèe 30th birthday for 4 night and had the most amazing time. The cabin was perfect, had everything you could need for your stay, and we had no complaints whatsoever. The little touches Rob and Kim done i.e happy birthday banners, chocolates and bottle of bubbly was so thoughtful and kind. They were beyond helpful and friendly. The hot tub was amazing and to be able to sit out there in it during the evening and have the deers come over was an incredible experience. We can't wait to book back up and come again! Thank you again Kim and Rob.

We love staying log cabins, it’s like a second home for us. Great location, great walks, lovely local people and we always feel refreshed when we return home. If you want a lovely break away in the UK then this is the place. The forest and wildlife are just heaven and we always return each year at least once or twice. Recommend 100%

This is a fantastic place to have a break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
A quiet secluded area full of wildlife to enjoy on the edge of a forest soaking in the hot tub with a glass of wine.
This was our second visit and enjoyable as the first.
The cabins are first class in comfort and cleanliness.

This was our 3rd visit to Forest View Retreat and it didn't disappoint. The lodge was spotless and we couldn't fault it. Really love the little touches like the chocolates on the table and the prosecco in the fridge. The bed was really comfy and everything was in full working order. Kim and Rob are always so welcoming! Couldn't of asked for anything else and we are already planning our 4th visit!

When we arrived at the Fern Lodge we instantly felt like we found a perfect place to relax.
The lodge was spotless and had everything you needed (even a deep free standing bath) this was as well as the hot tub.
We were so impressed that we booked to go back in January within half an hour of arriving there

I never have a moment's hestitation in leaving feedback for the Forest View Retreat.

It's hard to explain the feeling you get when you're here. The cabins are just so charming, but well-spec'd, and it's simply a joy to spend every minute there. They're immaculately clean and so peaceful, you could be miles away from anyone and you can just forget all your worries and melt away.

I wish these cabins were mine, I really do, as they bring so much joy to everyone who stays. You only have to read the visitors' books to see the consistent praise of people finding their own little piece of heaven at this wonderful place. I'd be so proud to own these wonderful places of sheer joy.

Kim and Rob - thank you for a wonderful stay and yet more happy memories made.

Had a really great weekend here we really didn't want to leave, Kim and Rob were very welcoming and pleasant, even after 1 day it's hard not to feel right at home, everything you need is all there for you, the deer food is 100% worth it, they visited us quite a few times even when we were sat in the hot tub having a few drinks they were that close you could almost reach to touch them, was a brilliant experience! Booked as a returning guest for my best friends birthday.
These properties do not fail to astound me. The only thing we took was our clothes, toiletries and some food due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Kim and Rob were as ever welcoming and are such lovely hosts and nothing is too much trouble.
Our accommodation is worth of 5 stars. The location also worthy of 5 stars with the added bonus of rabbits, the family of seers (all 9 of them) and the horses in the paddock to the left of bluebell lodge.
We spent the majority of time in the hot tub so it was the perfect way to unwind given the demanding jobs we both have. This is a hidden gem. I would whole heartedly recommend Forest View Retreat to anyone and everyone! Well done and we will definitely see you soon. Thank you for everything, especially the birthday bunting and balloons.

From the second we pulled up to the loadge to the moment we left we were 100% happy and impressed. I cannot complement this place enough! Finished to a high standard and perfectly located the lodge was comfortable, beautiful and peaceful. We spent time having dinner, watching movies, sat in the hot tub and watching the deers. You really couldn't get any better. Was so lovely of the owners to give us abit of background on the land and the lodges. Will definitely return. Thank you.

Me and my partner loved our stay in the fern lodge and couldn’t ask for a nicer location. Everything was clean and the view from the kitchen was lovely. The hot tub, chocolates and the bubbly was a thoughtful extra and really made it more relaxing. It’s like a home away from home. What made the trip was the short walk to the wyre forest and the deers that joined us at night by the hot tub. We can’t wait to come back and try the other lodges out. We have been to Forest View Retreat and stayed in all 3 lodges over the years. We never get tired of the place. It’s peaceful with only the wildlife to listen to whilst sat in the hot tub. The lodges and the location are perfect. There’s no Wi-fi and the phone signal isn’t the best which is why we enjoy it so much. To get away from technology for a few days and properly relax is one of the reasons we visit this place. The owners, Kim and Rob, are lovely people who go out of their way ensure you have the perfect stay. We will return very soon

This was our second visit to Fern Lodge this time for a little longer so that we could explore the area a little more.
The Lodge was just as lovely as we remembered with everything you could possibly need and more, the hot tub is perfect for relaxing in after a day of exploring in the forest. We were lucky enough to see the herd of deer most mornings and the white deer appeared one day too.
We cannot recommend these Lodges enough. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the wildlife but also close enough to lots of activities should you wish to get out and about and explore. The fact we really didn't want to leave says it all.

My husband and I were so relaxed, despite the dull weather and an unfortunate power cut we had everything we needed for a cosy few days tucked away in the Worcestershire countryside. It was just what we needed as a mini get away from busy city life, I couldn’t recommend it more. The cabin was spotless and provided everything we required and more. Laying in the hot tub watching beautiful deer and rabbits wander by was wonderful and an experience we won’t forget. We will certainly be booking again!

Booked Fern Lodge for my partners birthday weekend and I must say, she was not disappointed! Her expectations are high and she has her "own" way of doing things. But don't tell her I said so lol. Her first words were 10 out of 10, the boy did well! So thank you for your attention to detail in making this a real home from home experience. Nothing was forgotten inside the cabin. My only criticism is to provide a couple of blankets for night time when sitting on the veranda but that is all!
We loved the hot tub and sitting there in the darkness watching the bunny family playing and the deer just slowly walking by. It was lovely just being at one with nature. The whole experience will be one we both will not forget. My partner said it was her best birthday get away yet, so thank you both for making it so special! She is going to book to bring her best friend here for her birthday, so watch this space.
If we could rate this higher than 10 out of 10. We would....for sure? Thank y ok u both and keep up the fabulous work and attention to detail.

What a beautiful place! The lodge is amazing and so clean. Inside everything was provided that could possibly be needed down to even dishwasher tablets! I was very pleased with the cleanliness when you walk into the lodge it smells beautiful! A lot of local places and was central to a big Tesco superstore safari park and also a lot more. Very please with our stat myself and my partner had a lovely weekend and would love to do the same again in the future!

Firstly, myself and my partner would like to thank Kim and Rob for such a wonderful and relaxing stay at Forest View Retreat. We were greeted by both hosts upon arrival, given important information about our lodge and then left to our own devices.

The property itself is very modern, beautiful interior with all amenities you could possibly think of or need with the added bonus of a hot tub!
The area is stunningly picturesque, surrounded by fields and wildlife and so easily takes you away from the 'rat race' of everyday life.

From the minute you are greeted by Kim and Rob you know you are in for a great holiday. The Cabin is really nice in a great location with views of the Forest and the wildlife from the hot tub!!
We found a box of chocolates and a bottle of fizz left for us which was really nice (Rob said that was Kim's doing!!)
Rob gave us some tips on where to walk and local sights to visit, he even threw some windfall apples near our cabin which enticed the deer closer.
'Fern' is the newest of the cabins, on our next visit we will try for 'Bluebell' to get an even closer view of the wildlife.
If you want peace and quiet in great surroundings you wont be disappointed.

Very pleased with a perfect little getaway. The Beautiful Cabin was discreetly tucked away but not hard to find. Cabin was bigger than i expected, all amenities clean and working, hot tub was amazing and a beautiful bathroom nothing else that I could want from my two night stay. Rob and Kim are very welcoming and are at hand with any information you need to know about the area.

We had a wonderful weekend away staying at Fern Lodge. We went for a walk through the woods during the day and chilled in the hot tub in the evenings. It was a perfect first romantic weekend away together for my boyfriend and myself. Everything we could possibly need was provided, only had to do a little food shop at Tesco before we arrived but crockery, utensils and anything else we needed to cook was provided. There were board games, cards, a TV to keep us entertained. The lodge itself was very luxurious and really comfortable, with a hot tub on the decking that looked down onto Wyre Forest. We plan to come back sometime near Christmas next year because we think it will be beautiful in the snow and frost and the cabin will be wonderfully cosy. I have already recommended Forest View Retreat to lots of people, I'll never stop talking about what a perfect weekend we had!

This was our second time staying here for the weekend and it was just as good as our first. The owners are so friendly and their cabins are up to a high standard. Fern lodge has become our go to place when we need a break from any stress as the hot tub is so relaxing and calm aswell as the cabin, it just completely changes our mindset for the weekend. On the night when we were in the hot tub there were wild deers meters away casually grazing. It was lovely. We will be looking to return soon.

We stayed here for 2 nights to celebrate our first anniversary. We couldn't have wished for a more perfect place to stay. The cabin is immaculate with everything you could possibly need and the hot tub is a lovely addition. My husband and I recently stayed in Fern Lodge for our 15th Wedding Anniversary and due to log cabin surroundings and hot tub it added up to the one of our best anniversaries.
Cabin was immaculate with everything you needed and hot tub with the view was amazing. We saw deer and lots of rabbits.

Stayed for 2 nights after we got married, wow couldn't of asked for anything better everything detail was thought off.
The hot tub was so amazing we didn't get out until early hrs, listening to the wildlife. We saw deer and rabbits. Just what we needed after the stress of arranging our wedding lol. We will be back very soon

Absolutely stunning place this is. The cabin it's self is awesome, very modern with a proper kitchen, a lovely bedroom and one of the finest en-suits I've had the pleasure of using. Out back, there is a terrace and table to sit back, eat or just drink wine, whilst the hot-tub is a lovely addition too. The views from the back of the lodge are out towards the forest, where you see the deer and various other wildlife as the sun sets. You're also only a 10 minute walk from the main Wyre Forest visitors centre, which opens up a whole lot of forest based fun.

We stayed for the 4th time at Forest View in Fern Lodge at the end of May, having stayed in the other lodges over the years; in fact we were Kim and Rob's first guests 10 years ago! As we expected, Fern Lodge is gorgeous: modern, spotless, well-appointed, comfortable and homely. Of all the lodges, it is our favourite, however the others are equally as wonderful. Fern has the added advantage of being at the far end nearest the forest edge and has a pretty sun trap to the side. Bluebell is at the other end and has probably the best current views of the deer, which tend to hand around in the long grass to its side! Having said that, we saw deer (including the white doe) every evening and during the day - sometimes they will come onto the patio area while you are having a coffee!

The hot tubs are very clean and well looked after, Rob tests them every day and checks they are running smoothly and Kim is always on hand if you need anything. They are very welcoming, courteous hosts and aren't always popping in like some owners do! Whilst it is self-catering, you don't need to take everything - there are towels (except for the hot tubs - take your own), some tea bags, sachets of coffee, sweeteners and even a carton of milk to get you started, salt and pepper and oil, etc, in the cupboard; kitchen roll, etc. Kim even leaves you a small box of chocolates and bubbly in the fridge - all the little extra touches make this place special.

The grounds are very relaxing - you have a private decking area which opens out onto a beautiful field, with wild flowers and a walk down to a lovely pond. We saw loads of dragon and damselflies before we left. There are a number of ways to get into the Wyre Forest - along the road, via the visitor centre car park or by using one of the bridle/foot paths, which can be picked up along the lane. There are a number of pubs nearby, some at walking distance, which serve food - we didn't use them this time though as watching the wildlife from the dining table was more interesting than eating out!

If you want a trip into a village, Bewdley is lovely and worth a visit- with some lively pubs and a great chippy and you can sit by the river while eating your chips, if that suits you! Bridgnorth is an interesting place with a low town and high town and great views over the river. Harvington Hall is a gorgeous Elizabethan manor house with a moat and makes a very interesting afternoon out. To be honest, there are so many places and things to see in that area, a week just isn't long enough, never mind a few days! If you like to use the Internet to plan your day you might be advised to plan ahead and save any maps or event details on your phone before visiting or during a trip into town, as our 3G was very limited - but that is the beauty of the place - total relaxation and an opportunity to detox both mentally and digitally!!

Thank you to Rob and Kim for another wonderful stay - it was very relaxing and we really enjoyed it. The only problem we had is that it just wasn't long enough!!

Me and my partner stayed here for a few nights in May, we couldn’t have asked for more from a short break! Fern lodge is absolutely stunning, a beautiful lodge which is kept to perfection. We have visited Forest View Retreat on a number of occasions. This was our first time in Fern Lodge. It was stunning. The attention to detail is second to none. When we entered the lodge, it was like walking into a 5 star hotel. The presentation of each room was spot on. It gave that homely feel as well as the wow factor. The kitchen/living room/utility room was fully equipped to meet your every need. E.g: fridge, freezer, dish washer, washing machine, utensils to meet every possible cooking need, hot drink area with different sugars, teabags, coffee and even fresh milk in the fridge. The living rooms added touches of games, dvds and cds in the cupboard was not displayed on the website but made the stay more fun. The bathroom was beautiful with a massive bath and shower and the hot tub to the rear of the lodge was amazing and relaxing. We saw deers and wild rabbits just behind our lodge on our stay and plenty of birds. The owners were very welcoming and were close by if you ever needed anything. I will definitely be coming back and have already recommended it to my friends. One thing I will say is that it is deffinately for couples rather than friends as the added touches of love heart plates, chocolates and bottle of cava gave that all over coziness feeling which isn’t a bad thing.

We spent two nights at Fern Lodge, a wonderfully modern lodge with all the special touches which made the stay extra special. Kim and Rob were very welcoming as always. Fern Lodge was exceptionally clean (not one cob web or spider indoors) definitely no dust anywhere! The lodge looked and felt like we were the first people to stay there.

Lovely decor, comfy Sofa's and everything you need is provided, it really is a home from home.

The hot tub was at a good temperature and extremely clean and well maintained.

Loved the gorgeous bathroom and the little lights around the bath. Shower pressure excellent.

The only negative for us was the duvet felt quite heavy.

Sadly we didn't see any of the Deer this visit but whilst relaxing in the hot tub at dusk you see some bats and rabbits.

We had a fantastic meal for our Wedding Anniversary at The Forrester, just five minutes walk away, best Chateaubriand ever but it is necessary to pre-book this a week or so in advance, Sean even gave us a glass of champagne, lovely touch.

Leominster and Tenbury Wells are definitely worth a visit as lots of different shops not just run of the mill stuff.

Don't forget to purchase your discounted tickets from Kim and Rob for the Safari Park, just up the road, it is well worth a visit, and you can visit again a second time for free.

We also booked a Sunday Lunch on the Severn & Trent Steam Railway in a 1930s First Class dining carriage, a lovely way to while away a few hours.

We booked for my wife's 40th birthday. The lodge was spotless and had everything we needed. We instantly felt at home. The bathroom was amazing and between that and the hot tub, we felt like we were at a spa! The scenery and wildlife were perfect. We went on some beautiful walks and were lucky enough to see deer. The hosts were most welcoming and friendly. We are so glad to have found this little gem of a place and we've already booked a return break.

Have been a few times now and the break is always made special by the sighting of the white deer and it's foal early hours of the morning. Peace and tranquility at its best. So happy I found this cabin online, the price comparison to other log cabins with private hot tubs is so reasonable for this slice of heaven. Really close proximity to town which was another bonus for ease to stock up for the weekend, love the decor and layout of the property, the bath is fantastic and I recommend walking along the Forest in the evening we were lucky enough to spot 3 deers. Kim and Rob were so friendly and approachable too. Can't wait to return there!

Went looking for a two day retreat to recharge the batteries and was not disappointed with Fern lodge. Everything about the place is perfect, a tranquil setting allowing you to relax and forget about the usual busy day to day problems. This was our fourth time visiting the wonderfully relaxing lodges of the Forest View Retreat and our first time in Fern Lodge (the previous three were at Bluebell Lodge). As ever, we (my wife and I) had the most amazing break away from the hustle and grind of daily life. There is nothing negative I can say about this place; already booked for a full week in July 2018....can't wait! Bluebell and Fern Lodges are for two people whereas Bramble Lodge is for four. Both Fern and Bluebell Lodges are fabulous; highly recommended if you want peace, tranquility, stunning location and views, abundance of wildlife and no WiFi....enough said!!

My husband & I stayed in Fern Lodge for our honeymoon. We couldn't believe the effort Kim and Rob had gone to, to make our stay feel all the more special. They had put wedding decorations up, provided some bubbly and an easter egg as we stayed the Easter weekend. On arrival we immediately felt at home. Kim showed us how to work the Jacuzzi and then left us to our own devices. If you are staying for a few days, I would highly recommend purchasing the 'welcome basket' of local produce. It saw us through the weekend for breakfasts and a dinner.

The lodge is fully equipped with everything you need. It is beautifully and tastefully decorated with some nice little touches. Having a private Jacuzzi was a treat in itself. It was nice to be able to switch off from the outside world and enjoy the company of who you share the experience with. You can sit outside and lose yourself in the wildlife around you.

We will certainly be returning to Forest Retreat. Rob and Kim were so helpful and are such a lovely couple. We can't wait to book our next stay.

Our stay in Fern Lodge went above and beyond our expectations. Every little detail had been thought of, down to the little torch light and binoculars to watch the wildlife, to the bubbly chilling in the fridge and the complimentary chocolates on the table. The hot tub was amazing. We sat and watched the sun go down behind the trees and the deer feasting on the grass only a few feet away from us.
We will definitely be booking up to go again!!!

My boyfriend and i stayed at fern lodge and were pleasantly surprised by the size of the lodge. Everything we needed was supplied and the little touches of chocolates and champagne were amazing! We did nothing the whole weekend apart from enjoy the peaceful surroundings. The shower and bath are both a really good size and the hot tub is perfect to just sit and enjoy the beautiful views.
Kim was lovely and was on hand if we needed her but otherwise she left us to enjoy our weekend.
Will definitely be returning soon

A beautiful, quiet, restful place to have some time away.
The cottage is finished to a very high standard which makes it feel extra luxurious. It's right on the edge of the wyre forest, minutes away from the walking and cycling paths.
Wholeheartedly recommend!

Perfect get away to relax. Scenery is beautiful and the privacy is perfect. It feels like the cabin is your own and you're not disturbed throughout your stay. It was my second visit and already planning to go back. Highly recommend.

This was our first stay and we loved every moment. The location was very peaceful and relaxing with beautiful surroundings. The cabin itself was beautifully decorated and pristine!!!! There is everything you could possibly need in there it's wonderful. Kim and her husband are very welcoming and excellent hosts who clearly take a lot of pride in what they do. The hot tub makes the cabin even more special. We've already booked our next visit!

I booked this for my daughters honeymoon break and she loved it and is now booking to go back for 1st anniversary. Kim is lovely and willing to help with anything you need. Might go myself!!

Fern Lodge is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean with all of the amenities you could possibly need - including a fabulous hot tub! The hosts are wonderful. We have been twice now and both times they have been helpful and friendly - they even left us a Christmas present! Every fine detail has been thought of to ensure that relaxation is key. The bed is the comfiest I have ever slept in and the large, free-standing bath is a real treat too. Situated so close to the Wyre Forest, the log cabin allows for peaceful strolls to be had. We also love The Royal Forester - a local pub/B&B serving delicious food at a very reasonable price. The price of the log cabin itself is also very reasonable in comparison to other log cabins I have looked into renting. All in all, this is the perfect place for a luxurious, restful break and we will definitely be back time and time again! Thank you!

We had such a fantastic time at Fern Lodge our only disappointment is that we couldn't stay longer! Everything was just perfect which made for the relaxing break that was much needed. From the little touches like cava and chocolates, the hot tub, beautiful decor lodge with everything you needed to the amazing setting we really couldn't fault it. We would highly recommend it to anyone and we will definitely be returning for another visit. Thank you

I booked a short stay at Fern Lodge for my partner and I as a surprise for his birthday. I had read a lot of reviews about Forest View Retreat and it did not disappoint! Kim had put up some birthday bunting and there were complimentary chocolates and bubbly upon arrival. The cabin itself was so cosy and was equipped with everything we needed. The dressing gowns were a great added extra, I just wish we had brought our slippers!
The hot tub was fantastic! We had turned the temperature down in it the first night so it took a while to warm up on the second night but overall it was very relaxing which was backed up by the beautiful, tranquil setting. We even saw some deer and a stag on our last day which was lovely.

This log cabin could not be any more perfect; the decor, location, appliances and hosts were all superb. We have already booked to return. I can't recommend this place enough!

We previously stayed at The Bluebell Lodge, and this was our first stay in the new Fern Lodge.

We can't praise these cabins enough - we absolutely love them!

We did miss the jacuzzi bath of the Bluebell, although the led-surrounding luxury bath in the Fern is wonderful, as is the rainfall shower.

We've already booked up for next year, and hope to be able to visit at least twice a year for the foreseeable future.

You owe it to yourself to book up here and enjoy a tranquil time of absolute bliss.

Absolutely wonderful stay at the fern lodge!
My partner and I come to the forest view retreat every year but this was the first year in the Fern Lodge and it did not disappoint!
Beautifully decorated and cosy! Cant wait to return next year!
