What a fantastic place! James and Nick take such great care- and our cottage was perfectly equipt for cooking great feasts as we spent the weekend enjoying the gardens and the river activities. We could not have asked for a better place to spend Easter weekend with our kids and friends. We would recommend the property to anyone looking for a great Suffolk weekend. Thank you James and Nick!
The owners of Mendham Mill excellent hosts who provide a premium property at a great location. No problem is to hard for them to solve. They provided disability equipment for our stay. Walking frame, wheelchair to use in the wet room shower and a commode.
During our stay we had family visit including two great grand children a high chair was provided for the youngest aged 2. A pint of milk, two bags of ice, some very good ground coffee and a packet of excellent chocolate chip cookies on our arrival.
Our hosts Nick and James always made themselves available and happy to assist with any of our...more
This is the 3rd time that we have stayed at the mill and already looking to book again next year.. We stayed on site all week, walking around the area and just sitting in the gardens which is so relaxing and quiet.
James and Nick are so welcoming..nothing is too much trouble. Accommodation is clean, beds are comfy and the grounds are well kept..Cannot fault anything on our stay..
From the moment we arrived the hosts Nick & James made us feel 100% welcome. Both were very warm & courteous. They explained areas that were communal and what was private with each cottage. They advised on places to visit. The mill is set in a wonderful location with wildlife on the doorstep. The Nest was beautiful with a fantastic terrace from which to view the river. It was so peaceful. The facilities were great, wild swimming, games room with pool, darts, table tennis. The gardens are well maintained with a variety of plants . Fantastic place cannot fault it.
