Our stay at the Millers House was perfect in every way ,the host Nick and James were the best they made us feel very welcom. If you need a holiday with peace and quiet this is the place to come the river setting is fabulous with fishing,boating or just lounging on the tranquil river bank with the swans also enjoyed the wild swimming,the games room and gym all on site.This location is also ideal for the Norfolk Broards and the coast Southworld is a great place to visit.
We had a lovely week here in the beautiful surroundings of Mendham Mill. North Meadow Cottage was excellent - well equipped and accessible with everything we could possibly need. Accessibility was most important to us as we had a wheelchair user. Nick and James were friendly and helpful and always available if needed. We loved the garden area, river and idyllic surrounding countryside. We hope to return.
Really enjoyed our week’s stay in Mill Race cottage. The first floor living area was very spacious, well equipped and gave good views of the mill grounds and gardens. Nick and James were great hosts, very welcoming and happy to share their knowledge, the app was very useful too. Loved having the options of canoeing and wild swimming in the grounds, along with outdoor shower. Games room and gym were popular with our teenagers too. Great base for exploring Suffolk.
Mendham Mill is a beautiful and tranquil place to stay with the river meandering through the gardens. The Nest is a reasonable size for two people and has a lovely view up the river from the outside terrace. We found it incredibly peaceful and Nick and James were very helpful and friendly. Hope to return sometime.
From the moment we arrived (to a very warm welcome from James) to the moment we reluctantly drove away after a very relaxed departure, we loved every minute of our stay at Mendham Mill. The Lodge is very comfortable with modern, well-functioning amenities and an enormous garden which was perfect for the dog and for playing cricket! The setting is so peaceful and idyllic, and the games room was an absolute highlight for the children (as were the lovely goats!). There are several lovely local pubs, and the coast is half an hour away. We didn’t manage to kayak or swim in the river but something...more
