A very comfortable, spacious and well appointed cottage. Our landlady Catriona was very friendly and helpful. Great views down to the loch in front and up the hillside behind. Very nice, rural situation. Single track road with passing places to access but well worth it. Good wildlife viewing in the area.
We have stayed at this property before, as well as the Upper cottage. We are always impressed by cleanliness and the warmth and proffessionalism of the owners. Would definitely recommend, and would happily return.
Beautifully presented barn conversion, adjacent to the owners cottage and with gravelled driveway and parking area. The comfortable and spacious downstairs living and dining area overlooks Loch Awe and provides amazing views over the loch and the surrounding countryside. A modern and well equipped kitchen area provides everything you require for cooking and dining. A feature spiral staircase leads from the lounge to the first floor bedrooms and modern bathroom complete with walk in shower. I have recently returned from a months stay in the Stable on Blarghour Farm, where the whole experience of sampling the delights of my accommodation, the rugged countryside at my door and beyond were for me unrivalled. Having regard for the countryside, the hosts Catriona and Martin will allow full access to their farmland for unforgettable walks, and each were only too willing to impart their local knowledge and suggestions which was very helpful.
