We booked last minute so we paid the reduced price which is why I gave value for money a ‘4’. The exterior of the cottage Is beautiful and I admired the stonework every day. The minute we walked inside the cottage the colours, the fabric and fittings were obviously of the highest quality and well looked after. What a joy to use an Aga. This was a first for us. There was a traditional type of cooker if we preferred that. The kitchen was the best equipped one we’ve experienced to date. Quality crockery and equipment of course. Peace and Plenty is a warm hug of a cottage; beautifully decorated, with sumptuous beds and the wonderful garden greeting you from every window. Set within a small holding in fabulous grounds our children were entertained for hours at a time and learned lot’s from Elizabeth and David who were thoughtful and generous with their time. They were so excited with feeding the chickens, the horses (the friendly dog and cat!), collecting eggs and the super pony riding!
