Stayed for three nights with my dog for a quiet, relaxing break. Perfect location, beautiful area, easy to find, close to the town and amenities, and plenty of walks/hikes around. The apartment itself was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean, and contained everything needed for a comfortable stay. All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better retreat, and I'm sure I'll be back!
Booked three nights to allow us to drop off things day before wedding. Staff very obliging as we were too early. Even got food into fridge. Cottage very comfortable and great not to have to rush off day after the wedding. Family took other 2 cottages & we all had a BBQ day after wedding. Highly recommend and fantastic venue !
We had a weekend in the farm cottage with family for my husbands 60th. I only booked it a couple of weeks beforehand and Angela couldnt have been more helpful. The cottage was large and had everything we needed. It was just perfect. Staff were lovely.
The apartment is very spacious with a large living dining area, with 2 very comfy sofas, a big bathroom with a bath, great for a soak after a long day walking and a massive super king bed. Immaculately clean and everything you need, also very handy having the smart tv so you can just sign into Netflix, prime etc (though the WiFi signal was a bit challenging on the Saturday night when more people were in the cottages?). Lodge was warm and comfortable and Spacious The log burner and hot tub were both welcome after day out walking. The underfloor heating made the lodge always feel warm and the heated rails in the bathroom meant no damp towels ..The lodge feels very private and secluded. Plenty of parking and outside space for the dogs. Balloch is a 5 minute drive away but we found Helensburgh best for food shops etc and only about 15 mins away. Staff at the farm are extremely friendly and helpful.Will definitely return!
I booked a stay for me and 5 friends for a weekend getaway. We were delighted with the cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fabulous location and we had dinner one night at Duck Bay and went to Luss. The only negative is that the open and winding stairs to the triple bedroom are difficult to navigate for anyone who is not as flexible. Mirrors in bedrooms would also have been helpful.
We loved our cottage we had everything we needed. It was comfortable and spotlessly clean. This is a great place to enjoy the Loch Lomond area. We will be back. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely three nights stay at Finlas View. Everything we needed was there for us. The beds were all very comfortable and the cottage was lovely and clean. Very well equipped kitchen and hot tub was super. Angela was, as always, terrific nice and friendly, nothing was any bother. A delightful place to visit. We have been a few times now and stayed in different cottages, each one just as good. We'll definitely be back !
We had a lovely few days it is late in the season so very quiet but think in summer it may get noisy if all the row of cottages are full. The cottage was lovely and clean it is all well proportioned big bathroom & bedroom. Coffee and ta provide was a nice touch, we did have a problem with the tv couldn’t get any terrestrial channels only catch up type programs etc but not a big problem as we had bought a few board games with us which we often do but never use this time we did and really enjoyed it. Nice comfortable accommodation for 2 plus our 4 legged friend. Duck Bay hotel is a 20 minute walk away for a meal out, but advisable to go in the light if walking.
Excellent accommodation and base for exploring Loch Lomond area. Excellent location for a peaceful break away.
Stayed for 3 nights. Fabulous walks and location. Very relaxing. Could do with comfy pillows in bedroom.
Warm and cosy wee cottage. Clean and had everything I needed. And the bed was so comfortable so I slept great. I went alone for some me time to relax and I did. I don't drive so wasn't great on foot but I expected that. The views and surroundings are perfect for a wee relaxing escape from everyday life. I'll definitely be back. Thanks so much.
We only stayed one night and it was very clean and comfy. We couldn’t get BBC etc on the RV but that may have been our fault. Very annoying regarding arrival as I emailed ,messaged and called numerous times, and didn’t get an answer until a few minutes before arrival. This was from a guy, whereas, previously, I had had prompt replies from a young lady. The communal ice machine was dirty so we didn’t use it.. There was a very noisy large group who kept us awake until the early hours…
