Great weekend stay with friends The hot tub and sauna were well used even in the cold Would book again
It's the second time we've stayed at one of Auchendennan's properties to break up the journey south from the west coast. The rooms are clean, warm and welcoming and the kitchens are well equipped if you want to dine in.
I had booked the entire cottage property for my son's wedding for 3 days. The location was perfect with its natural surroundings and its proximity to the Boturich Castle. The amenities were modern. The host guide book had informative tips on local eateries and conveniences. Dave the owner was super friendly and very accommodating to our needs. The cottages were spotless and well maintained. All in all a perfect setting for our family and friends who came from all parts of the world. We loved it.
Stayed at Finlas view for my daughter’s wedding at Boturich Castle and was the perfect place for our pre and post wedding celebrations . Accommodation was stunning and spotlessly clean. A big thank you to Angela and her team for making us so welcome Also to Tammy for being so friendly and working hard to keep all of our accommodations so clean and spotless. Had a lovely stay again at Auchendennan. Cottage was lovely just as expected. Great location and was spotless clean with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Angela was excellent to deal with as usual, nothing was any bother. Thank you all once again. Looking forward to coming back.
Cottage had everything you needed. Good base for accessing other locations on Loch Lomond and more local walks around the farm with the dog. Log burner was excellent.
Great cottage will definitely be back and recommend to others. So clean , great garden for dogs and seating area to chill. Only problem was mattress a little soft as I have a sore back.
Wonderfully private, beautiful views, amazing hot tub, bbq and fire pit. Lovely staff and locals. Short cab ride to Loch Lomond with sea aquarium, cruise and supetmarkets. Our baby's first trip on our first wedding anniversary was just perfect for us. Please use local cab servicr "Wright taxis" absolutely, heartwarmingly helpful drivers and service. Great accommodation. We have 2 dogs and the cottage is perfect for us and them. We would definitely recommend staying here.
We booked out every property for our wedding guests in April and we would highly recommend Auchendennan Farm. Angela, James and the whole team are so kind, helpful and relaxed. Every property was in super condition, clean, the location is fantastic and we would definitely return for our own holiday!
Just a quick stay for us - the accommodation had everything we needed. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and lovely & warm on a wet autumn night. Hopefully we'll return & explore more of the beautiful area around Loch Lomond.
I stayed in Rose Cottage with my husband and daughter for three nights. We had a lovely relaxing break although the weather was awful. Well equipped and comfortable it has all you need for a short stay. Enjoyed seeing the chickens & alpacas as well.
Clean, comfortable and peaceful stop for the night close to the Loch. Friendly communications with staff and an informal easy approach to accessing the property.
Well appointed self contained accommodation with a huge comfy bed in a great quiet location. Check in was seamless. We only overnighted on the trip north but it was perfect.
Location is excellent. However, standard of property is poor and in desperate need of some TLC and a deep clean. Examples are: Oven stinks of grease, mould in the shower, dirty skirting boards, paintwork scuffed and marked around table area and where bins have bashed into the walls, furniture heavily worn and stained, outside the bbq was unusable as totally rusted and the bench could do with a power wash and a repaint, the bathroom tap was too fierce shooting water everywhere which has destroyed the lamination on the cabinet.
