We had a really lovely stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It was a wonderful base for exploring Penzance and the surrounding area, with beautiful views out towards the sea which made the setting feel particularly special. The host was very welcoming and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The afternoon tea provided by the host was such a lovely and thoughtful touch, and was very much appreciated after our journey. We had a lovely week, as always, and we are so grateful to Carolyn and Richard for their warm hospitality. This year, we especially enjoyed seeing so many swallows diving and wheeling over the fields of the farm, with the blue sea stretching out to the horizon beyond. We cannot recommend Sky Larks Barn highly enough!
Another fabulous stay in Bridie’s Barn. Made very welcome on arrival by Carolyn, who also provided beautiful freshly baked scones, along with jam and clotted cream. She provides the recipe for the scones which we have taken. There are sea views and open fields visible from the patio, and the sun loungers are the most comfortable we have ever used.
