A lovely relaxing stay in beautiful area. House was very comfortable and catered for everything we needed. Pool area was great and conveniently located next to the house adjoined by a nice little path. Kids loved it.

Very nice location and property. One bathroom had very bad drain smells. The place was otherwise very good. We were slightly disappointed that the bikes that were promised weren’t available and that the tandem that was there was poorly maintained.
Otherwise a very nice villa.

Dear Mr Dix We are terribly sorry that this was not brought to our attention during your stay. Our property maintenance person is local and we would have also organised for a plumber to attend. I wanted to reassure you that a plumber will visit this week and the issue will be resolved. It could be something connected to the new water tank that has been installed but re assured we will sort this issue out. We are delighted you had a lovely holiday and enjoyed the property and the pool. Kind regards Joanne

We had a very relaxing week. The house was well equipped but the highlight was the pool. The children spent many hours playing in it. Not much to do locally for children but mine didn’t want to leave the pool so all was fine. Have sent a message separately about the few issues that we had.

Had a great stay. Nice remote area but far away from ‘happening’ burgundy. Good pool and grounds and nice big house. House gets very hot - particularly upstairs at night. Suspect you’ll need to install aircon soon.

What a lovely house! Great pool, and perfect for families with small children as it has a fence around it. The sound system is great for sitting on the terrace, and the evenings are so peaceful - stars and crickets. We saw a lovely red squirrel bouncing across the lawn, and so many gorgeous lizards. Really recommend it for a relaxing family holiday. I hope we will be back next year!

Lovely location & good facilities for a family holiday. We all loved the pool, which is safe & adequately fenced off for young children. Large garden for games & plenty of shade during the whole day.

Lovely rural place for a family reunion. Well appointed home, lots of crockery, glass and good kitchen equipment. Great BBQ and a really lovely pool which was hugely important as a means to keep cool during the extreme heat we experienced while there. Difficult to cool the house down in the extreme heat we experienced. Adults coped but difficult for small children

We had a week here at the end of July 2020 and had a great time - the house is terrific, lots of space, a great pool and garden. We all enjoyed the stay. The area was quiet, which was fine in these strange times. The main challenge for us was a heatwave, and the property did get very warm without a lot of focus on shading / ventilation. Worth bearing in mind if you are coming at the height of summer. The main highlights were the pool and the wonderful outside spaces for eating & relaxing - the space under the willow was particularly good on a hot day.

A lovely house in a fairly remote position with a very sleepy village close by although it did have a small supermarket.Fantastic garden for the grandchildren to play in. We thought the bathrooms were very dated.House was well equipped and great log burner for chilly evenings. Superb outside eating areas for when sun shone. All in all we had a very enjoyable time, and would return.

No complaints whatsoever. Large comfortable house, large garden (great for dog). Location excellent - near a small hamlet with quiet lanes but supermarket only 5 minutes away by car and the Canal du Nivernais only 10 minutes by car, giving good flat walking along the towpath. A house we were sorry to leave and to which we plan to return.

Quiet location with short drive to nearest town. Good facilities, not a huge amount for young children to do, so bring your own toys.
