As a child, I used to spend my Summer Holiday's here, at The Ross with my Aunt Maisie and Uncle Bob, who lived in the Dairy House. Sadly both passed away many year's ago, so, to be able to get to stay here once again was like a Dream Come True for me. My Fiancé Alastair, Our 13 year old Granddaughter Kalli and Our Labrador Luna booked into the Old CheeseLoft, (where I used to watch Uncle Bob and my Cousin Andy making huge amounts of the Best Farmhouse Cheddar you could wish to eat), which is now a Luxury 5 Person Holiday Cottage. We thoroughly enjoy our stays each and every time we go. A very friendly welcome from Sue, who does everything possible to make sure we are comfortable. Dramatic panoramic views, nice walks from the cottages. Spacious, warm and comfortable accommodation to spend the day taking it easy or come back to after trips to the surrounding bays, sights, towns and villages.
We had a wonderful holiday .Dairy House was spectacula especially when we worked up in the morning the view was out of this world The kitchen was a dream .The panty was a dream The lovely Cake on arrival was delicious and the lemon drizzle.The bedrooms was spacious and bright In all the house was beautiful We will return to Ross bay Retreat
Though the clouds didn’t shift for nearly six of the seven days,Creel cottage still provided us with a wonderful cosy break. All was as excellent as on previous visits. And the final morning sunrise with sea and sky aflame is the abiding memory of this most beautiful part of Creation. Highly recommended.
Just returned from a weeks stay at this lovely retreat it was absolutely amazing.Bed was so comfy, everything was just perfect even the weather. Sue made a lovely lemon drizzle cake and ice cream in the freezer. Hope to return.
Must have stayed here five or six times now! Every time we feel so at home, and find new places to visit. Really can't recommend it enough. The village is picture perfect, peaceful and friendly. Have already booked for next year.
