the second time we have stayed at dove house and it didnt dissapoint. from the swimming pool to the tennis court to the games room, it has everything you can hope for for a family holiday. it is veru much in the middle of nowhere but that is a positive to us, oit felt like the south of france. a third visit is aredy being planned.
Swallows was a very nice place to spend a week and explore the delights of Dorset. It was well equipped, nicely decorated and furnished, and Pippa was a charming host. However, my mother, who is registered blind and has to use a 'rollator' to get around had difficulty with the shingled drive and the steps into the property. The shower was also a bit of a challenge for her, so these things did make her anxious, but we managed and had a good week overall. I would certainly recommend it.
