From the moment we arrived we felt so at home and relaxed. Our host was very welcoming and had thought of everything to make our stay so enjoyable. The cottages are very well equipped/stocked and spotlessly clean. We have stayed at many properties like this and it tops them all for for the cleanliness, facilities, open space and information on the local area. The outside play area and games barn for the kids are wonderful touches. We love visiting places of interest, so the map room, newsletter and app prior to travel help plan your stay to the fullest. Wood Farm Cottages is a lovely venue for a break away. The cottages have everything you could ever need and are immaculately maintained. We had a really lovely relaxing break over new year and would definitely recommend it.
As there was no where to hang t towels and hand towel in the kitchen some hooks would be helpful. Thank yo
We had a fantastic short break, the cottage was well equipped, warm, light and very comfortable beds. Our 4 year olds loved having a fabulous playground outside the door and going to see the sheep, playing on the pedal tractors and burning up any energy they still had after a day on the beach or running around the woods. It's well located, a quiet peaceful setting and the pub at the end of the road is a lovely topping. We'll be back
Great location, accommodation and customer service. Good range of facilities available on-site. Well located for the Norfolk Coast and Norfolk generally. We really enjoyed our stay at Woodfarm Cottages. The location was great, the play area was a hit with the children, the map room was super impressive along with all the knowledge and recommendations for the local area. The cottage itself was perfect for what we needed and great value for money. Comfortable beds, enough space for a family of four and everything we needed in the kitchen. We will definitely be looking to return in the near future!
We went away with our two children and their families, staying in 3 separate cottages. Each cottage was well-appointed, and comfortable. Facilities for the children were excellent, with opportunities for games (physical and board) readily available. The information room was very helpful, as was the board detailing 'Whatson' and the weather forecast. One minor observation - other cottages we have stayed in have provided a 'Welcome Pack' of tea, coffee, milk (and, on occasion, flowers) - always creating a great first impression. Just a thought....
Had a wonderful week at Wood Farm Cottages, Rowan cottage was lovely and clean, everything you require, parking, laundry room, wonderful amenities for children and an informative map room. Only minute detail for us was the shower head which not as effective as it could have been. Would definitely go back, excellent base for getting out seeing North Norfolk.
