12 of us stayed here celebrating 3 x 50th birthday's. The house had everything and more that we needed. Located close to the railway station and bus stop made getting around easy. The only downside was the water pressure in the attic shower if others were being used was almost none existent. Lovely relaxing accommodation.
We had a great time at Orrest Head, the house is beautiful with plenty of room for big families. The bedrooms were spacious and comfy, and the kitchen was equipped with everything you need for catering for large group size. The location was fantastic, we loved walking up Orrest Head with the dogs, Windermere was just a 5 minute walk away, and can walk, jump on a bus, or take the car to explore elsewhere too. The hosts are great, clear information and available to answer queries too- thank you, we had a great stay.
This house is just amazing, we felt like extras in Bridgerton! It was clean, comfortable everything we wanted was there, hot tub area really cute and private, easy to find with good parking for our party of 13. Just around the corner from train/buses/taxis. We ate at a beautiful greek restaurant but the facilities in the house were also of a standard we prepared a beautiful morning brunch! Communication from the owners was superb, quick helpful replies, we would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to booking it again in the future,

A superb location in Windermere Shops, public transport, and walks on the doorstep. A good sized property great for large get togethers. Booked direct and communication from the owners was fantastic. We stayed in Whitemoss as a group of 9 there was plenty of space for us all and enough of everything for everyone staying. The property was generally clean and tidy. Carpets in the bathrooms was a bit off putting and probably needed replacing. The hot tub whilst a nice extra wasn’t very powerful jets were a bit lacklustre so, we only used it once. We had a wonderful family New Year’s break at Orrest Head House and could not recommend it highly enough. The property is ideal for a group stay, with ample off-road parking and plenty of space to relax and enjoy time together. The location is a real highlight. Although the house feels wonderfully secluded and peaceful, it is only around five minutes from the hustle and bustle of Windermere. Such a brilliant weekend away with friends at Boston House. The location is perfect, right next to the station with lots of parking. House was clean and rooms were lovely with plenty of space. The hosts provided lots of information in advance and the stay was very smooth! Even had some sun for the hot tub! Would absolutely stay here again - thank you!
