We had an amazing time celebrating our parents golden wedding anniversary. The house is spacious and ideal for entertaining. The location is brilliant and in close proximity to some amazing restaurants. Andy, the owner was incredibly responsive to any queries we had. We will be back!
We had a fantastic family weekend at Alice Howe celebrating my mums birthday. The house is in an idea position, within walking distance to Windermere. Great lounge and dining area to socialise together. Excellent communication with the hosts. Will definitely recommend to friends.
Perfect location for visiting the lake district. The house had everything you need and was very comfortable. All the family loved it. Great touch having a little bar room. Rooms were really nice and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again
I honestly worried that White Moss (on The Terrace, Windermere) would be too good to be true. We got a fantastic price for a midweek stay for 7 people, and found the place absolutely spotless. The hot tub was great, the kitchen, dining room and living space are all ideal, and the bedrooms are mostly quite spacious. The location is unparalleled, right next to Windermere station, so easy access to both trains and buses (including to nearby Bowness and Ambleside). Our first time at the cottage and we loved it, so much we’ve already booked again. Nice size for 4 adults, baby grandson and dog, very comfortable and clean. Good location minutes walk to the village but private garden with parking. Highly recommended.
Had a fantastic long weekend. Lots to do. All the rooms were amazing, great facilities in each room. Kitchen amazing, dining and front rooms spot on. One slight blemish our jacuzzi had no roof,the others were covered. But we all loved it and would return, regards Steve
Excellent stay. Our 6th visit to the terrace hosting our annual reunion. Perfect location we will be back next year.
