Another visit to Alice Howe for a winter break for a group of ladies. Fantastic house with lots to offer - comfy beds, lots of space, great kitchens and excellent socialising areas. Location is also brilliant - buses and trains nearby and lots of walking. We will be back
We couldn’t have asked for a better place for stay for our reunion of friends. Comfortable, warm, clean, great location. Definitely a return visit will be in order. Congratulations to the owners who have put a lot of effort and thought into making Number One, The Terrace, a home from home.
We had a family party of 15 , so we hired the cottage as well as the house., The house was very spacious , we were celebrating our Golden Wedding . The bar was great, we did stock it up well too ! All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend ,as did my two little doggies .
Had great time at White Moss - perfect venue for family celebrations. Fab location for walks and shopping! Would highly recommend The Terrace properties.
Our first time at the cottage and we loved it, so much we’ve already booked again. Nice size for 4 adults, baby grandson and dog, very comfortable and clean. Good location minutes walk to the village but private garden with parking. Highly recommended.
16 of us stayed at the property for a hen weekend and it was perfect for us. We had caterers in for a lovely dinner and we enjoyed running a quiz and photo story on the screen in the cinema room.
We had a wonderful stay at Boston House for a hen party. We've stayed at The Terrace many times before and this time was just a fantastic. Such lovely accommodation, cosy and elegant. Amazing facilities with everything you could possibly need. The location is great for exploring the lakes and for cafe trips. Excellent all round.
