We were very glad to be able to squeeze five nights in at the end of September. It was well worth the journey. Corrimony feels like a home from home: it wants for nothing. Diane and Trevor were perfect stand-ins.

I think this is our 4th stay at Gask House. We’ve had another lovely time and each year the cottage retains its high standards. The owners really look after it and it’s consistently beautifully clean and maintained. There is so much to see and do around the area, it really makes a great base. It’s a lovely home from home.

Corrimony Cottage is beautifully presented and well equipped with everything you could need for a short break, you only need to bring yourselves and food! It has wonderful countryside views and the dogs enjoyed running around the nearby fields. It is a short drive away from Inverness and we had a great week exploring what the local area had to offer. The owners provide a useful welcome pack with a wealth of information to help plan your stay. The cottage would suit either a family or 2 couples looking for somewhere to enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. It genuinely feels like a home away from home.

This was our second stay in this superbly furnished and equipped cottage. We - a family of 3 - thoroghly enjoyed the warm welcome, very comfortable, quiet home, and gorgeous views. Also, it's a great starting point to explore Inverness and the region, Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal. E.g. we enjoyed the Nairn Show, Football at the Calledonian Stadium in Inverness and the Fort Augustus Locks, amongst many other little trips and walks (and could charge our electric car right at the cottage at the charging point exclusively for guests) - just perfect holidays!

We absolutely loved our stay at Corrimony Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, in an idyllic location in the quiet countryside, whilst only fifteen minutes drive into Inverness. The surroundings are lovely and the cottage was perfect! Our two young daughters haven't stopped talking about it and how much they enjoyed exploring the beautiful gardens and our family games of hide and seek in the garden "maze". Gill and Chris were excellent hosts who made us feel very welcome and looked after us throughout our stay. We highly recommend Gask House Holidays and look forward to visiting again in future.

We had a really comfortable stay at the Cottage. It is a beautifully decked out Cottage, with quality decor and fittings. The surrounding Scottish country and hillside is stunning, peaceful and beautiful. Our hosts are very friendly and helpful and we felt very much at home and looked after. We only had four days, but it was so refreshing, we felt we had been on holiday for longer.

Gill and Chris were amazing from booking through our goodbyes. The property is immaculate and our cottage was modern, clean, comfortable and warm! All the right touches are present from heated floors, towel dryers, and a very well equipped kitchen. Old world charm with all the comforts of modern technology. Fast internet, lots of natural light, small wood fireplace, comfortable beds, fluffy towels. Not sure I can ask for anything else. We arrived after a long journey and Gill offered to pick up take away for us. Each day we were greeted with a warm good morning and when we inquired we received lots of recommendations. Gill even helped book a cab for us to go in and out of town each day. Highly recommended!

Such friendly and accommodating hosts there when you needed them but never intrusive. The cottage was finished to a high standard and had everything we needed. If we are back in the area would not hesitate to rebook.

Second visit to Gask House Farm Holiday cottages and we weren't disappointed. Corrimony cottage is beautiful and has everything you need. Brilliant time, revisiting my childhood as I used to stay in the farmhouse as a child.

We stay in a lot of holiday cottages around the country with our dog and we have a rule that we never stay in the same place twice. So we're now onto our fourth visit to Gask House - rules were meant to be broken and for good reason in this case. We usually stay in Clava but this was our first stay in Corrimony Cottage.

Set in a converted steading, both cottages have a warm, welcoming vibe. They are well equipped with everything you need, comfortable beds, under floor heating (which the dog, in particular, loves), fresh eggs from the owners' hens and a huge garden with a nature trail to wander around. The owners are very hospitable and helpful, while respecting your privacy.

Gask House feels very rural but is only about fifteen minute's drive from Inverness; so easy for local shopping or checking out the local restaurants (Rocpool is good). It's also a really good base for exploring further afield into the Highlands.

My only hesitation in recommending either cottage is that it means less availability for us. So *highly* recommended!

We had a really nice time at the Corrimony Cottage and found that the house had everything we needed.

The property was in immaculate condition and well equipped in terms of kitchen and livings paces. We had a great stay as a family and the kids were both comfortably as were we.

We will definitely consider booking again the next time we have a trip in this area.

Everything about this cottage is perfect. The two bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The two bathrooms are full-sized, with shower and bath in one, and shower in the other. The central part of the cottage is full of detailed touches - USB sockets; kitchen basics provided; a fantastic set of information about the area and things you might need; even some coffee table books. Then there are games to borrow, homemade chutneys and free-range eggs to purchase. There is an ideally situated bench in the nearby paddock where you can sit and soak in the atmosphere, the peacefulness. And then it is only a short backroad journey to ASDA for essentials, or a local store in the other direction for bread and papers etc. Add to this the superbly clear directions and information pack provided by the owners, and that they are on-site with the friendliest welcome and there should you need anything. We had roadtrips to the west coast; Fort William is a day out, or explore parts of the North Coast 500. We'd stay here again in heartbeat.

We spent 3 weeks touring around Scotland, and the Corrimony Cottage at Gask House was hands down the favorite stay of our trip. The cottage was comfortably appointed with everything our family of 4 could need to relax, prepare our own meals, and get a great night's sleep. We enjoyed meeting our hosts, spending time visiting the horses and chickens, and exploring the interesting and scenic sights in the nearby area. The beds were the most comfortable ones encountered during our trip, too! We enjoyed staying just outside the hustle and bustle of Inverness, the Gask House felt like it was a world away, yet it was still convenient to the city for groceries and activities. Our family was sad when it was time to go. Thanks for such a great stay, we hope to return one day!

A very stylish, creature comfort, cosy place for the discerning traveller. Well equipped, warm in cold nights, extremely comfortable, suitable for 2 couples travelling together, or 2 adults and 2 kids.
We also enjoyed the option to have a wood heater going, to cook for ourselves, to purchase farm fresh hen and duck eggs, and benefiting from the hosts recommendations. While it is off the beaten track, it is close to Inverness, Loch Ness, and multiple other sightseeing and exploration opportunities (castles, cairns, waterfall, hiking, bike riding... ) and what beautiful views after a restful sleep. Highly recommended.

Beautifully appointed barn conversion with everything you need for a great holiday in the Highlands.
Lots of useful information provided by the host Gillian backed up with extra resources on the Gask House web site.
Great location, just 15 mins to Inverness, 20 mins to Loch Ness or Culloden and 30 mins to Aviemore.

Beautiful views to the hills, and the log burner was lovely to have on in the evenings.

We spent a lovely 4 nights here and truly find it difficult to find anything negative to say. The cottage is ideally situated to explore the area in and around Inverness and Loch Ness. The hosts were most welcoming and made the stay a pleasure.
Comfortable and stylish the entire cottage is equipped to a very high standard. The log fire is great and makes the place cosy in the evenings.
All in all one of the best places we’ve visited and we will remember it for the future.

The cottage is located very conveniently near Inverness, but still in the countryside. The location has various historical interesting highlights - especially for clan MacGillivray members. The location is optimal and on - in our opinion - the most beautiful side of Loch Ness, conveniently in reach of the main roads.
The cottage has a spacious living room and kitchen and four people can easily be accommodated. Because of large windows at the courtyard side and skylights, the cottage is very bright. All essentials for a self-accommodation holiday are provided and your host is really a super host. You should not hesitate to book!

Beautiful cottage. Very clean, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the countryside location whilst still being close to Inverness. There are some lovely cycle routes on quiet roads from the cottage. Gill was a welcoming host and very helpful. Thank you to the chickens for their delicious fresh eggs.

Corrimony Cottage is a beautiful, very comfortable property with everything you could need. We had such good weather we managed to use our portable BBQ on 4 occasions and Gill had even bought a stand which was perfect to stand the BBQ on. Gill is a very helpful and lovely host and the peace, tranquility and location of the property are just fabulous.
Plenty information available for the local area and further afield for things to see and do.
The daily supply of eggs from Gill's hens was just lovely - they were so delicious we even bought a dozen to take home.
Only one tiny suggestion, is a pint of milk would have been good when we arrived as there are teas and coffees supplied but no milk but it's only a wee point.
I would definitely recommend staying here and we hope to return one day to this beautiful property.

I take on-board your point about the milk. It was always something I used to supply until it became apparent that fewer people were able to use cows milk (allergies etc). We therefore recommend that guests do a food-shop before arriving. But I will start to offer guests milk when they arrive just in case they've not stocked up. Thanks again for the suggestion.

Excellent standard of accommodation in a peaceful and tranquil setting - a great place to unwind and 'get away from it all'; on the other hand Inverness is only about 10 minutes up the road and there is plenty to do and see in the area. Corrimony Cottage very comfortably accommodates 4 people (and a dog in our case) and was really cosy and welcoming. We were greeted by the smell of home made shortbread biscuits when we arrived - it didn't last long it was too delicious! There is the option to buy fresh laid eggs from the owners - which we enjoyed every day and we all bought some to take home with us. DVD's, books, maps etc are also available if you want them. Other thoughtful touches included some coffee capsules to start us off, a small sewing kit etc. Gill and Chris were there if you needed them and were great hosts. I highly recommend Gask House cottages as a great place to stay.

We all really enjoyed our stay at Gaskhouse.
The cottage was perfect for 2 couples providing a feeling of privacy as the bedrooms are at each end of the cottage.
We were very lucky to have amazing weather which was a bonus.

We had a very relaxing and comfortable stay in the lovely Corrimony Cottage. Gill, the host, lives on site and couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful (with suggestions for a Sunday pub lunch). You can even buy daily fresh eggs from their chickens! The cottage is furnished to a very high standard, with everything you could need and is in a lovely countryside location with lots of woodland walks within a 5-10 minute drive. There are plenty of supermarkets on the outskirts of Inverness and we enjoyed trips to Loch Ness, Culloden, Fort George, Nairn and Cromarty, in a pretty area of Scotland, which has lots for visitors to see and do.

We recently spent a weeks stay in Corrimony Cottage at Gask House just 5 mins outside of Inverness. It was the perfect location. Corrimony Cottage was beautiful, very spacious and fully equipped with all the essentials we needed. A home from home. We enjoyed the beautiful surroundings of the country side, my daughter enjoyed feeding the local horses and it was good to have an enclosed area just next to the cottage where the dog could run around freely.
Gill the owner was there on arrival with a warm welcome and was never far if there was anything we needed, she also recommended a few good places to visit whilst we were there.
I highly recommend Gask House for that relaxing countryside getaway break with the city on your doorstep.
We would love to come back and visit again in the future.

This was our second time at Gask House in less than a year. Last time we stayed in the small apartment but this time we wanted two bedrooms so booked the cottage. It was perfect. It was fully equipped and was warm, cosy and light and airy.

We were happy to eat in each evening and especially enjoyed the log burner.

The location was perfect try situated for going north to Inverness and the Black Isle or South to Aviemore and the Cairngorms.

Gill was the perfect host and we'll be going back soon.

The cottage is just perfect for a comfortable stay. The weather was not very kind and we had to spend a lot of time indoors. This place is perfect to snuggle and enjoy some relaxing time. The kitchen is very well equipped, television offers access to all apps and WiFi is very good. It is very spacious and clean. Our autistic kid had space to run around and he loved the bath (deep and long!). We had a terrific stay and we most likely be back!

Corrimony Cottage is a fantastic self catering cottage in a beautiful part of rural Inverness-shire. Everything in the cottage is classy, the furniture and appliances all of a very high spec, it was spotlessly clean, warm and very comfortable and lots of local information available for guests. Dog friendly too! The area is stunning, great walks and cycling routes from your door, amazing wildlife, all in a peaceful, rural setting, but within a 15 minute drive of Inverness. Gill and Chris (and their beautiful dogs) could not have been more welcoming and helpful with advice on the local area. An added bonus are fresh eggs laid by Gill's hens. Gask House Cottages is a top spot, would highly recommend to anyone, we'll definitely be back.

We’ve just returned form a fabulous week away. The cottage was beautifully decorated, cleaned to a high standard and had everything we needed (and more). The owners were incredibly helpful and went above and beyond what we expected. The cottage was really dog friendly too, with a shower for washing the dogs outside and dog toys! We can’t wait to return.

We had a fantastic 3-night stay in the Corrimony Cottage at Gask House Farm Holidays! Gill was a super host and the cottage was amazing. The location is perfect, only 5 minutes from all the amenities of Inverness but the farm is quiet and peaceful and with beautiful views. All that just a short but picturesque drive to Dores and the shores of Loch Ness.
Our 3 year old son loved being able to walk through the farm paddocks and also visit the chickens, and Corrimony Cottage itself is beautifully appointed and super comfortable!

We visited in July, but wouldn't hesitate holidaying there in the winter when we could make full use of the log burning stove and underfloor heating!
