Just felt small for us two and dog. Will book 2bedroom next time. Needed more hanging places for clothes and drawer places. More spots for hanging outdoor clothes and shoes and boots.
We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The house was beautifully decorated, very cozy, and spotlessly clean. It was also surprisingly spacious, with a great bathroom and a bedroom featuring a large, comfortable bed. The fully enclosed garden was a real highlight – absolutely perfect for our two dogs, who enjoyed it just as much as we did. This is truly a place we would recommend without hesitation, and we would definitely return if we are in the area again.
This is our 4th time staying at Cologin Lodges and just as good as we remember it. Had a lovely relaxing break with everything we needed. The lodges are well equipped and have all you need for a self catering stay. Very quiet & peaceful surroundings. Would recommend to anyone looking for a stress free holiday.
Came up to get away from Fireworks as have very nervous Dog - after checking prior to booking that it would be quiet it turned out to be just perfect. Weather was mild for time of year and sat with patio doors open on Nov 5th to utter quiet. Dog lay sleeping after nice day out walking. Been here before so know what to expect and as always they delivered. Thank you
We only stayed 2 nights but Cologin was easy to find and communication was very good. The lodge was excellent and gave us everything we needed. Lots of great local walks for us and our wee dog. The on-site bar/bistro was also first class.
Myself and 7 friends stayed in the Cologlin Farmhouse for 2 nights, the house was exactly what we were after. Katie’s customer service was second to none. The farmhouse is located right next to the bar and restaurant which we were also met by great customer service and tasty food for a bunch of hungry farmers! Thanks again, we will definitely be back!

Everything was great and owners were very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely go back. Very peaceful little place.
Well done to Katy and her team Unit was very well placed for us,tucked away in the corner.Beds comfortable,lounge area well set up,kitchen well equiped. Parking with the boat was well placed to allow easy access and exit. Will most certainly be back again.
