It was our first time at Cologin, so I felt a little apprehensive. It was lovely and clean, which was pleasing. Katie came over to say hello when we arrived, which was really lovely. She was very welcoming and helpful too. There were a couple of issues, but Katie very promptly sorted them out. Her customer service and communication skills were spot on : ) Beds really comfy and rooms very airy. One thing that could be considered though, were the non-stick cooking pans, which were in an awful condition. We loved the Cruachan, it had everything we needed. It is very cosy, the view is amazing! Maybe the coutch need a replacement?
Really enjoyed this peaceful location, comfortable clean accommodation and perfect for dogs too. Great walk on the doorstep where you can safely let dogs run freely

This is 100% best place to stay just 5 mins out oban quiet , walks on your door step dog friendly kid friendly a wee wooden park , the barn bar right on site lovely homemade food and a 2 min walk from beautiful situated chalets comfy everything you need and Katie the owner is so lovely the perfect getaway couple days or a week great base and not stupid Oban prices a lot more for your money Thankyou
Me and my family have just spent a week in Cologin Farmhouse, I have to say, I would recommend it as it was an amazing place, it was so peaceful and wonderful it was spacious and even my 3 nephews loved it plenty for them to do and the dogs had plenty of space in the garden to enjoy themselves. We also had a lovely meal in the Barn , which I would recommend anyone who is staying to try it. Lastly I would like to say that Jim, Linda and Katie deserve so much credit for a wonderful holiday home and help when needed. thank you The Rushes Family (Christopher)
Beautiful peaceful place to stay everything you need is there for you definitely going back next year
If you want peace and tranquility this is the place. Some areas could do with a little tlc but that's a minor thing compared to what you get with the location. I would certainly go back and recommend it.
Great stay. Beautiful surrounding. Spacious lodge. When we arrived, the manageress had put on the lights in order to give us a warm welcome after a long ride in the rain.
