This was our second stay at Sandford Cottages, although this time we came simply as a couple (the last time we came with extended family) and stayed in the Red Squirrel apartment. As soon as we put our suitcases down it felt like coming home - no need for a last minute shop in anticipation of breakfast, everything is here! We had a very relaxing stay and would definitely return again (and again!).

We spent just over two wonderful weeks in Valentine’s Cottage in the beautiful grounds of the main house. Everything about the cottage is exceptionally high quality. If you are looking for a peaceful location for some rest and recuperation, this is the place to be.
We have stayed in a smaller property here before. This time there were four of us. The two bedroom property is spacious with beautiful views and you can watch the red squirrels. The owners are friendly and provide you with everything you could possibly want.
The accommodation at Lady Bluebell was of the highest standard. The bed was extremely comfortable and the view from the bedroom windows were amazing. The welcome pack was a great idea and had lovely things in it. The kitchen was very well appointed and had everything that we needed. The grounds were so quiet and peaceful and the squirrels were great fun to watch. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
I booked this property, alongside another, to take my friends away for my 60th birthday celebrations. The hosts were welcoming and informative. The accommodation is fantastic: super comfortable beds and linens, lovely bathrooms, well equipped kitchen. The location is rural and beautiful, we watched red squirrels in the garden. Outdoor balcony with furniture, if the weather is good enough. Only 3-4 miles from the nearest villages and 15 minutes into Dundee. A welcoming basket of essentials was so nice.
