We could not have been more impressed with Chezania. It's a beautiful apartment, with all the amenities you could need for small children. The village it's in is lovely and has a local pizza place where they speak English so that was very handy. Alex and Nicole helped us with a number of things and it was very much appreciated.
Our stay at Son Siurana exceeded our expectations. A lovely small hotel in a peaceful location. The apartment was great and gave us the flexibility to self cater when we didn't fancy going out. A great location with lots of lovely beaches and towns within 15-20 minutes drive and a nice pool to come back and relax by at the end of the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful, leaving us dinner in our apartment when we arrived late on the first night, lending us bucket and spade and sunshade for trips to the beach. We had a very enjoyable, relaxing stay.
We stayed at the Cleo villa at Peryali Villas and it couldn't have been more perfect for us. It was clean, comfortable and more on the traditional side of Greek villas which is just what we wanted. The mezzanine floor with the 2 beds was perfect for my girls and the living space/kitchen area was big enough but still felt cosy. Having our own pool was a bonus and we probably spent most of the time there, although having the larger communal pool made a nice change too. Everything was well maintained and really suitable for families with kids, beautiful grounds, large pool, garden games and play areas. Local town accessible for supplies. Friendly and helpful owners. We will be back!
We loved it here! Beautiful hotel with excellent food and lovely staff. The half board plus was very good value and pretty much felt like full board, to be honest. We never went hungry! Gorgeous pool. Would have loved a second pool to use for some variety but that’s picking holes!
We had a great stay at Les Carrasses, the setting, environment and facilities were excellent. We loved the flexibility to eat in our apartment or at the lovely restaurant, and had a pleasant evening using the BBQ facilities provided. The pool, tennis and bikes provided lots of entertainment for the week.
We stayed at Domes Lakes for the first week of October - the staff made us feel so welcome and really spoilt our son. The restaurants were lovely, pool area was great and the haute living area was really useful when we needed a snack or glass of wine. There was plenty of room, it was easy to get bookings at the restaurants and the kids club was one of the best we’ve seen.
We had a brilliant time at Martinhal Sagres. Myself and my partner took our two pre-school aged boys and my partner's parents joined us. The serviced apartment was ideal for our needs - plenty of space, modern and well laid out. The resort was great. Food was excellent, everything had been thought of. Lots of stuff to do, access to a beautiful beach. I've never stayed anywhere where the needs of small children have been thought about in as much detail. Everything you might need for a family holiday and more. I think there are more toys than at our home! Amazing facilities - large warm pool with slide and inflatables, large hot tub, climbing frame, trampoline, boules, hammock, pizza oven, huge games and toys room, bikes, ride-on toys, cinema room, gorgeous outdoor living/dining area, well appointed proper kitchen, many bathrooms including a bath, baby/toddler beds, kid crockery/cutlery/cups. Everything wonderful - food, room, staff, babysitting etc, except one key thing: Freezing swimming pools. We were told the pools were heated and chose Domes on this is basis. They may be heated technically but it is misleading to call them heated when they are far too cold for children to swim in and cold for adults too. As a family resort this needs to be addressed. Lots of families were unhappy about this. In Mid-October the sun is warm enough but pools far from.
Very impressed with Domes of Elounda. The staff were so friendly & helpful, they made our stay with kids very easy & smooth sailing. 4 restaurants to choose from, 2 great pools and an amazing beach setting (perfect for kids to play). Highly recommend.
We had a great week discovering Dinan and St Malo and the surrounding areas. Emmanuel and Aude make excellent hosts and were quick to answer any queries. We enjoyed being able to order fresh croissants for breakfast. The covered pool meant we could swim as many days as we wanted. The site felt safe and the big play barn is well equipped. Our 5 year old also loved feeding the chickens and the guinea pig.
We had a lovely stay at Chez Coco with Steph and Charlie. Our three daughters had a fantastic time exploring the very child friendly space and enjoyed making friends with the other children. The atmosphere is relaxed and very friendly and Steph and Charlie went to a lot of effort to make sure all of us enjoyed our holiday, from a trip to a nearby Cognac cave for the adults to a pottery class for the children. Beautiful hotel and facilities with pool, spa and beach access. Kids club was good and breakfast and dinner had a great selection plus the opportunity to eat at the hotels 2 other restaurants. Only down side was it seemed to lack staff with making up rooms etc and providing clean towels etc.
