It was our first time in Pembrokeshire with our two dogs, and we're glad we chose Cwm Connell Cottages. Ty Twt was the perfect accommodation for us as one of our dogs is reactive (the enclosed deck is on the back side of the cottage and no other guests have access). The views on the drive down to the cottage are absolutely stunning and whet your appetite to explore the area. The accommodation is beautifully decorated and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. The hot tub and secure dog field were added bonuses. Had a wonderful few days staying in Ger y Llyn cottage everything we needed and more was supplied. Emma very welcoming and super dog field to exercise our dog.
We have just returned from our second visit to Cwm Connell. It is the most idyllic location and wonderful, immaculate accommodation with the added treat of fresh sourdough, milk, coffee and honey butter to welcome us.
We have enjoyed Poppit Sands almost daily and have also visited Newport Sands and Mwnt. We have spent time in Cardigan, including the agricultural show. We have loved time spent in the cottage, the hot tub and the fabulous paddock, running the legs off our dog. We have enjoyed food at Crust, The Ferry Inn and Pizzatipi.
We absolutely love Cwm Connell and hope to return for a ha...more
What lovely hosts Alex and Emma are, bringing additional serenity and joy to an idyllic location that is hidden away. Ideal for getting away from it all, enjoying long walks and what a place to bring a dog or dogs. Simple rules mean yiu won't be bothered if you don't have a dog but if you do, equally, your dog will feel v welcomed!
Another fabulous week at the cottage. We decided to go for the 3 bedroom this time and we are so pleased that we did. The sun on the balcony made breakfast and evening drinks even more enjoyable. We went with another family and thoroughly took advantage of building a fire in the paddock to watch the sun set and staying late into the night for drinks and smores. Thank you to Emma for being so welcoming.
Excellent for both humans & dogs. Amazing walking on the doorstep and only a 20 min walk to the bay. Not to far from Cardigan either - which is a lovely little town with everything you need.
