We had an excellent stay with friendly hosts. Information provided covered everything. Tastefully decorated cottage . Comfortable bed. Excellent shower. The woodburner was very efficient with an abundance of wood if required. We would like to return again one day. Would definitely recommend.
Cwm Connell Cottages are a real gem - extremely comfortable cottages and the hosts have thought of everything for everyone including dogs! All recommendations the hosts gave were fantastic from walks to beaches to restaurants. The cottages are set in a beautiful location and I would like to return for a yoga retreat at some stage in the not too distant future.
We had a lovely and very relaxing holiday at Com Connell. The hosts, Emma and Alex, are so welcoming and the cottages are top class. Everything you might need has been considered. This is a genuinely dog friendly place and that goes for the whole wider area, in our experience. It feels in the middle of nowhere, but not too far to go for essentials or good food.
My third stay at Cwm Connell, each time in a different cottage. They are all superb! Extremely comfortable, beautiful and lovely to be able to sit outside in the sunshine this time too. Alex guided us through another weekend of restorative and energising yoga both outside overlooking the sea and in the studio, and Emma showed us the cold swimming in Ceibwr Bay and Poppit Sands. Still so much to explore with walks and different beaches, and will be planning another stay later in the year.
Our second visit to Cwm Connell in a larger cottage this time. Lovely Welsh goodies on arrival, gorgeous Christmas decorations and the most delicious cakes from Emma, Alex and family who are all so friendly and welcoming. We have a very reactive dog, but are always made to feel that it's not a problem, which is reassuring when you're staying away from home. The cottage is very clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished with everything you need. We've all had a wonderful week, it's an ideal place to stay any time of year! The studio was very comfortable and beautiful presented with tasty treats waiting for me as a very nice touch. Emma could not have been more welcoming and helpful. It was a treat to return back too.
It suited our needs perfectly for a 4 night stay with friends and dogs in a rural, peaceful within walking distance to coastal path and beach. Hosts were welcoming and very helpful. We would return.
