On arrival we were met by Emma who showed us the facilities, the cottage was perfect, beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and with everything we needed. The dog field was large enough that the dogs could have a good run round first thing before we set off out for the day. What a wonderful break! From start to finish, Emma was super helpful and accomodating, wanting to make our stay perfect! Nothing was too much trouble, even helped us with some extra dog mats for our pooch... Lots of little extras and attention to detail, loved curling up in the comfy armchairs in front of the fire, and soaking in the huge bath! Really comfy bed, extremely clean and well furnished...Walks straight from the door, which in February were mostly wet and soggy, but the area is beautiful, even in winter..... We have stayed at Cwm Connell with our dogs a number of times and it never fails to disappoint. The cottages are beautiful, the location is stunning and Emma and Alex are the perfect hosts. If you enjoy walking, there are gorgeous walks straight from the cottages and further afield. The beaches are some of the most beautiful we have seen, even in winter. The coast path offers some of the most stunning walks. We were lucky enough to see dolphins swimming off of Camaes Head and seals on a boat trip.
