Culdee Cottage is in a fairly remote area close to the southern border of the Cairngorms National Park, with easy road access to that area. It is quiet and peaceful and when we went the weather was lovely meaning we could enjoy sitting out in the garden where we saw red squirrels and a huge hare. The cottage is well appointed so it would have been a very pleasant place to be even of the weather had been bad. The owners live on site and were friendly, helpful and hospitable.
