Wonderful few days in April. The cabin was well equipped and the off-grid facilities easy to use. Plenty firewood and enough electricity through solar/wind power to run the lights and charging devices. Completely by ourselves in isolation with wonderful scenery and some interesting wildlife. Great walks nearby too, so didn’t need to drive anywhere.
We enjoy the privacy that Carpenters Cottage provides. Having visited on many occasions we have always enjoyed the smaller size that Carpenter Cottage provides although the fabric is now showing its age.
Was a very pleasant stay with everyone very helpful. Plenty outdoor games , games in the room and a games room. And you can forget the outside world. Nice walk to the lake and a nice spot to have a picnic. Not forgetting the pool after a long day was nice. We had a bbq and picked some fresh herds from the garden nice touch Thank you and see you again
Once again we enjoyed our stay. The cottage was warm (the new radiators are a great improvement and were a great boon in the very cold weather we experienced), comfortable and well-equipped. We particularly appreciated the porch which provided ample space for boots, wellies and shoes and which enabled us to keep the cold outside at bay.
nice location, a bit aged but charming. good with kids. if you like nature and quietness - give it a go.
We’ve been coming to Tomich for 16 years and love the peace and tranquility. This break was no different. Only comment would be that the lodges are becoming a bit tired and in need of updating. Will still be back but will go to the cottages again next time.
