Ideal for restful days with view on a small loch with birds and animals passing. The Hot tube was nice for our muscles relaxing.
We enjoy the privacy that Carpenters Cottage provides. Having visited on many occasions we have always enjoyed the smaller size that Carpenter Cottage provides although the fabric is now showing its age.

Enjoyed our stay very much! Glen Affric is one of our favourite places to visit - so beautiful. Dairy was perfect for what we needed and very comfortable. One suggestion might be a couple of garden chairs so one could sit out under the veranda as we had amazing weather and we love to read sitting outside. We used the pool every day and the booking system was a great idea! We have now stayed in the Wooden Lodges, the Courtyard Apartments and now the Dairy! We keep coming back as we love it.
Once again we enjoyed our stay. The cottage was warm (the new radiators are a great improvement and were a great boon in the very cold weather we experienced), comfortable and well-equipped. We particularly appreciated the porch which provided ample space for boots, wellies and shoes and which enabled us to keep the cold outside at bay.
The whole area is beautiful and our woodland lodge was a cosy base to return to every day. We spent a week here and enjoyed our stay very much. We knew it was self catering so brought along supplies with us but there is one handy shop at nearby Cannich. And a couple of places to eat out within 10 miles. It was great to be able to have a washing machine and access to a washing line. As warned, reception was very patchy unless we were up by the games room area. We didn't have a lot of joy with the TV so relied on DVDs to watch in the evening. There were plenty to choose from but a few newer o...more
