We come back almost every year. Tomich holidays is a family favourite. The games room and the pool keep the children (and adults) entertained even in wet weather. It is comfortable for our dog. Its location with access to outstanding walks and views of amazing waterfalls make for many memorable holidays!

First rate location and facilities in every respect. Perfect for families on local excursions to woodland and rivers and for the serious hikers and walkers heading for the more testing hills and Munros.

we stayed in the Carpenters cottage, just the 2 of us, it could house up to 4. it was really nice clean and comfortable didn't mind at all that it didn't have the ensuite. very well spaced out but cozy at the same time, kitchen was very easy to make a meal in. There's very little noise except for the farm equipment but compare that to city life and it really is nothing. it was wonderful to see so many small birds that I don't get to see anymore house martins and sparrows and a wee lonely robin. it made such a wonderful site to see instead of seagulls and pigeons. if you sit out on the bench towards dusk you can also see the bats flying around. A big help to switch off was the limited win and so was the mobile reception which was exactly what we where looking for. There are so nice paths to walk around on just be aware there are farm vehicles around. take a trip and go and explore Plodda falls or Glen Affric itself its not that far away, or use the onsite swimming pool, you book it for 1hr a day and you get it all to yourself/group which for us was totally relaxing. all in all I couldn't recommend this enough if you are looking for somewhere to just relax rest and recharge your batteries. Take a trip to the Spar in Cannich its not only a spar its a bar and a cafe with the best display of whiskies you can buy then also bottle their own. the local eggs for sale on site are also available in the shop if they have them. All the staff were so friendly and helpful and very knowledgeable and are all a credit to the Farm and Tomich Holidays. I will be returning in the Spring.

We had a great few days. The cottage was very nice and the facilities and surroundings were great. We didn't have any reason to make any contact with anyone as everything was as we would want it. Lovely place.

A very pleasant week-end spent at the cottage. Clean and fresh linen and well laid out. All facilities were very pleasantly maintained. Would recommend staying there at any time.

We have been on holiday here many times.

Positives:
There are numerous woodland walks straight from the doorstep.
It is a very peaceful location.
It is a comfortable cottage.
We loved being able to buy freshly laid eggs - they were great.

Negatives:
The crockery is starting to show its age.
Do not enjoy a holiday where the electricity is metered - would have far preferred to pay a higher weekly rate.
There is no mobile phone coverage and the onsite pay phone has been removed. The nearest public telephone (coin operated) is located at the Tomich Hotel down at the bottom of the drive.

When we visited the pool was out of action. This did not affect our stay, but may be worth noting given that other reviews refer to it.

The accommodation is very comfortable and well equipped to make your holiday great, this was our second year staying. It is in a beautiful part of Scotland, and for us the nearby woodland walks are just ideal as we live in Orkney where there are few trees! They have a games room, indoor swimming pool and a play park for families and they welcome dogs, ( which is important for us). I think it’s a lovely place to stay and I look forward to visiting again next year, I would highly recommend it.

I love staying at Tomich Holidays and Carpenter’s Cottage is a favourite. Very private with the most amazing views from every window. So many walks from the doorstep, you don’t even need to use your car. I love the peace and quiet and the cafe in the village is well worth visiting for coffee and cake. Looking forward to my next stay.

This is our second stay at Tomich and we loved it! The setting is great and the cottage is perfect. The hosts are wonderful and very responsive to any questions or concerns. The location is perfect and many great sights are easily accessible. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend a stay at Tomich Holidays. A great opportunity to escape to the wilderness of Scotland. Wild swimming, biking, hiking, there's lots to distract then you can soak in the pool after a long day exploring. The cottages provide a warm haven from the changeable Scottish weather, and are fully equipped with everything you might need for a week away.

Carpenters was spotless,very comfortable.

Tomich Holidays is an ideal place to come and recharge your batteries ,you can chill in the swimming pool ,or you can climb the mountains. There is something for everyone .walking heaven just walk out the door and go ,beautiful scenery everywhere you look.
