Once again we enjoyed our stay. The cottage was warm (the new radiators are a great improvement and were a great boon in the very cold weather we experienced), comfortable and well-equipped. We particularly appreciated the porch which provided ample space for boots, wellies and shoes and which enabled us to keep the cold outside at bay.

Clean and comfortable accommodation in beautiful conservation area. Excellent on site facilities, we particularly liked being able to book the pool for our cottage's exclusive use. Would definitely return.

Loved the cottage and location, swimming pool was a nice extra feature. The biggest issue was the very bad wifi. I understand it isn't easy and there possibly isn't a fibre line to anywhere on the estate, but I believe there are possible solutions. Basically the wifi only worked okish with four people upstairs and a little downstairs near the window. When my son was facetiming with his girlfriend, the rest of us couldn't connect. Without mobile reception, wifi is necessary to check out routes, places to visit, location of petrol stations etc. The only other thing would be to make some simple mosquito/midge nettings for the bedroom windows, as three of us four are now covered in bites. Four slats with a net fitting into the window opening would do.

This is the 7th time we have stayed at Tomich holidays. There’s nowhere more beautiful. It’s a great place for families. The pool and games room in particular for the children. A visit to nearby Plodda falls is a must. Stunning. The friendly staff are on hand to deal with any issues quickly. We will be back again soon.

We really enjoyed our short stay at Tomich Holidays in June. The farm is in a fantastic location, and the courtyard and surrounding buildings and grounds provide a beautiful and relaxing environment. Stalkers Cottage had everything we needed for self-catering, and the shower was great after a big day out in the hills. We didn't make use of the pool or the games room ourselves, but they are great options for a bad-weather day. An altogether excellent experience!!

We love it here. 4th time we've stayed. Peaceful and quiet with great facilities. Easy to do things straight from the doorstep. Beautiful scenery. Cottage was clean and very warm. Good facilities. Loved the selection of dvds and enjoyed trips down memory lane watching the comedy genius that is Lee Evans and all the goals of the world cup 1998!

Tomich Holidays is a great eco-friendly place to set up base. There’s a drying room for your wet gear if you’ve been out in the weather, or if you’ve been fishing nearby. You can walk or cycle from your doorstep to amazing scenery, or you can take a short drive to Glen Affric, Glen Cannich, Glen Strathfarrar too. Drumnadrochit is the nearest sizeable town about 20minute drive away, but Cannich Spar and it’s new Affric Cafe/bar/bus have most of your needs covered. I’ve not been in to the Tomich Hotel at the bottom of the drive since new management took over, but it has a cosy bar and posh dining room too. The courtyard cottages share a quadrangle with a working barn on one side (keep out, but the wee ones can see the animals), and a wee indoor pool with a games room upstairs on another. There’s a wee kids playground too, and an indoor bike store. The cottages (and chalets) are comfortable and homely. Telephone signal is non-existent (drive to the church beside the power station for decent signal) and the Wi-Fi is very poor, so it’s great if you want to get away from it all, but not so great if you have moany teenagers. There is freesat tv, and a DVD player (selection of movies are available). Two cafe’s are nearby, one at the bottom of the driveway, the other is at the Cannich Caravan site. Both are good, but the latter has the better selection and more reasonable prices. (Sorry, Tomich, but true.)
The staff at Tomich are brilliant, very helpful, and easy to get hold of. When you arrive, the courtyard cottages can be cold in the spring months if there has been no-one in before you, but they warm up after a day or two. My advice is to let the team set the controls on the storage heaters as they are not for mere mortals to operate, and fiddling only frustrates (my experience, anyway).
Ask them to set up the water heater too! The appliances are easy to use, and I was pleased to see this stay that there was a new non-stick pan available. Utensils are okay, but I usually take a sharp knife of my own for cheffing. No gas hob, electric only, so ceramic, but you get used to it. Good size fridge and freezer.
Plodda, Dog Falls, Abriachan are must-sees, and go find the hidden waterfall near the old ruins at Guisachan, that’s a wee gem.
Cougie for horsey types, if you have two or more people. They do half or full days, or they used to.
A word of warning for drivers, the roads are great to get there, but if you’re going off-property, be prepared for some moon-surface potholes, and for absolute idiots driving timber lorries, and also for deer. On the single-track roads, drive like you have you have young children, and you’ll be fine. Although a timber lorry did hit us once with two under-fives and a pregnant wife in the car.

We've been to the Tomich Holidays courtyard cottages many times. The accommodation is always clean and comfortable but the main reason for our visit has always been the wonderful surroundings, situated in one of the most beautiful areas of the country, away from the noise and traffic of daily life. The accommodation has all the amenities you need. Pets welcome as well. We will be returning again.

We enjoyed our week in Tomich as always, despite the weather! The cottage is comfortable and furnishings are of excellent quality. The showers are amazing. However, we were disappointed to discover that the swimming pool was closed till Spring - it has always been an important feature for the family. The TV and DVD installations caused us issues - eventually solving the problems by buying new batteries and then pressing a button at the back of the TV. The kitchen has quality pots, pans and oven dishes. But again, some utensils were lacking. Washing up liquid only enough for one bowl and no washing up brush/scrubber. We resolved all these but perhaps checking once in a while would avoid these issues.

It was a really nice stay and property. The house and location was excellent, close to top touristy spots and the more local. You do need to be able to drive, but for those who can its perfect. Only flaw (gripping at straws) were the pilows and mattress, we ended up buying new pillows (needed them anyway for home) and the springs sounded to be on the way out.. also the power went out at bang on check out time of 9.30 (no grace preiod of 10-15 mins or so), we felt a bit rejected due to this especially since we spent the time cleaning up behind us to leave less cleaning, but, i can see why they might need to do this, it really is a beautiful spot. We hope to return some day and explore more when our little one gets a bit bigger Xx

We enjoyed our stay at Tomic very much. The staff were great. Very natural and easy going. Very helpful. The cottage was lovely and roomy and once we had got our heads around the storage heating we managed to stay warm. Only comment about the heating would be to say that it was very cold when we arrived. The facilities very much a 3 star. Bit surprised about how few kitchen implements there were e.g only 1 saucepan lid. Thankfully we bought our own steamer, knives, mixing bowl and roasting dish. We bought ourselves a chopping board etc. Eating out all of the time was not on our agenda that's why we book self catering. No hesitation in booking again if they will have us. Property looking a bit faded but otherwise it suited us very well. Good info folder.

Storage heaters are a complete nuisance but we have little choice but to use them as we are reliant on electricity for all our utility needs. We have a store full of kitchen spares so would easily have provided any of the missing items. Apologies for the lack of kitchen implements. The kitchen should come fully equipped with everything you need to cook and bake.

We found the cottage meeting all our needs as a base for dog walking locally and touring further afield to places like Cawdor castle and Eileen donan castle and Isle of Skye. The cottage was clean and the staff were helpful . As a minor point , the welcome pack was not what we expected so make sure you visit shops before arriving ! Easy walk to local hotel for meals was a plus and all dog friendly! We would definitely go back to Tomich holiday centre

Eine wunderbare Unterkunft. Leider nicht besonders gut gelegen für spontane Unternehmungen. Ca. 45 Minuten Fahrzeit für größere Einkäufe. Es gibt nur eine mehrere Meilen lange Zu-und Abfahrt als Single Track Road.
Es sind etliche Meilen notwendig um größere Touren zu fahren oder einzukaufen. Die Cottages sind aber wunderbar.

Been coming to this cottage for over 20 years.

A lovely spot. So many beautiful places to walk to. Both easy and challenging walks.
Friendly staff on hand to help support at all times. Still finding new walks.

The cottages have everything you need when on holiday and more.

Each cottage in the courtyard has its own benefits so all fantastic to stay in.

The tomich cafe is great to visit after a walk for a delicious cake.

If you want to go to inverness I can recommend the speedboat to see the dolphins.

Restaurant recommendation has to be the Struy Inn. You will have one of the best meals ever with welcome hosts Karen and Jim.

Such a beautiful part of the world which we will continue to visit

Lovely cottage. Fab location and it was great that it was so clean. The pool made it even better and we could walk the dog from the cottage. Only a couple of niggles - no potato masher Or milk jug, and there could have been more oven dishes. But overall it was excellent. The dog friendly cafe and pub in the village really helped. Would go back again and recommend it to friends.

As usual the area around the cottages was beautiful and we noticed lots of improvements i.e new wooden compost areas and signage. The cottage had everything we needed for our weeks stay. However the cottage decor was looking quite tired with paper peeling off near a heater which, although not affecting our stay, didn't give a good impression. Overall a pleasant stay but improvements could be made to make it even better.

Superb location for local low level walks and nearby mountain hikes. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped accommodation. It's just a pity that the bed was a double and not a king size as the bedroom was more than big enough for one. A double bed will be perfect for many people but is too short for taller people like myself.

The cottage in the courtyard was a lovely, warm, spacious and had everything we needed.
The surrounding farm and estate gave plenty of opportunities for walking. the swimming pool was an extra bonus.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
Dogs really were welcome.

We have now visited Tomich holiday twice, both times staying at the fisherman's cottage. The accomodation is amazing, spacious clean, high quality.
I would maybe say that maybe some more dish for cooking, pans and trays would be good as the cooking facilities are there and we used them daily.
The highlight of the place is the indoor swimming pool. The slot booking system out in place during COVID is good so each family has the pool to itself for an hour. The game room is ace too and so is the outdoor play area. My kids have loved rising their bike around the place it's so safe!

We have been going to the same place for more years than I care to remember and have never had any complaints. This is the ideal place for total relaxation, but the location is also ideal for an energetic holiday enjoying the magnificence of Glen Affric.

Thankyou Tomich Holidays. Been coming for years and will return again. Pity the hotel in the village seems to be struggling.

We felt that our large sitting room was a bit dreary. It needs a bit of interior design, or a bit more furniture (desk)?. Otherwise the accommodation was excellent and also the location. The staff were most helpful, when a storm knocked down the power lines in February.

Very comfortable accommodation with facilities such as Bike Store, Games Room, Swimming Pool, BBQ Area.
Add to this there are a variety of walks either from the accommodation or a short drive plus some of Scotland biggest mountains nearby and for longer runs Inverness, Beauly, Ullapool dolphin watching/
