This year we spent our third visit to Tomich Holidays (after 2018 and 2019). We stayed in one of the apartments in the main building. And as usual everyone at Tomich tried their best to make us comfortable and support us during our stay. A highlight (considering it is a farm and in a somewhat remote location in the highlands) is the pool, which we used almost every day. Other than that: If you like Scotland and the highlands in particular, you've come to thr right place.
Necessary shops can be purchased a few (6) km away, Beauly is another source for more variety and an important thing to know is: Black Isle Dairy - especially their ice cream :-). Nature is never far away and even though the occasional (other) tourist can be spooted, it is everything but crowded.

Accomodation: In some places you can tell the apartment has been used for quite a while. In our case we had some difficulty with our bathrooms. Help was never far, but it would have been nice if nothing had failed in the first place.

Still, we enjoyed ourselves during our 10-day visit. Thank you Tomich-team for your ever-smiling faces and support.

Clock cottage is set in a beautiful and peaceful location. Even thoughnit was the height of the holiday season it was a haven of calm and quiet.
The cottage was well furnished and comfortable. We could think of nothing that was missing to make our holiday comfortable and fully equipped.
We will definitely come back for another stay.

We loved our stay at Tomich Holidays. The cottage itself was immaculately clean and very comfortable. The kids loved the pool and games room. The team were super helpful (our online food shop arrived before we did and it was kindly taken in and unpacked for us!). We'd love to come back.

Been visiting Tomich Holidays on and off for about 20 years but was a bit disappointed this time. Firstly we couldn't book the cottage we actually wanted, one was allocated to us. We arrived just after 4pm, as requested, and tried to message that we had arrived, as requested, but couldn't, as the wi-fi was down. No-one came to see if we had arrived and we didn't see a member of staff until we went looking for someone to report the wi-fi issue a few days later. It was quickly fixed and the gentleman (Oliver) who came to inform us was very nice and friendly. The interior of the cottage was fairly clean but tired looking and there were cobwebs in quite a few of the rooms and on the lights. There were quite a few other issues, it was dusty, there was a horrible smell coming from the sink in the kitchen, a screw sticking out of the bath panel in one of the bathrooms and one of the bathroom sinks took ages to drain away. The pool area has been upgraded with new showers etc. but personally I feel the cottages need to be upgraded/updated. The checkout time is now 9.30am which is a bit early. The local area is still amazing and there are loads of lovely walks and the bed was very comfortable but overall I was disappointed. Also we paid extra for our dog (£30 for the week) and it did say that a basic welcome pack was available and a wee treat for your dog or children but there wasn't even that, it's the little things!

Dear Pauline, I am so sorry to read that you were disappointed with your stay at Tomich, especially as you have been such a regular guest over the many years. I have spoken to the Housekeeping team this morning and they were also saddened by your review. They did drop down to see you on your arrival day but were unable to catch you in. They were unaware during the changeover that there were any issues with the drains and water system. I don't think that Oliver was made aware when he was speaking to you either. We would have taken steps to address this had we known you were having such an issue. Rest assured that we have a full programme of upgrades planned for the Cottage over the low season, which will include re-decoration of the interiors. We provide a free welcome tray upon arrival which is teas. coffees and biscuits so you can have a hot drink upon arrival. It should also include a doggy biscuit and waste bags. The other Welcome Packs are available to purchase should you wish. I hope that you are able to return in the future when we hope to meet your expectations. Many Thanks

Granary Cottage was a luxurious base for a week of outdoor activities! Lots of walking and cycling routes to be had in this beautiful part of Scotland - and a joy to return ‘home’ to real comfort at the end of the day.

We had a very pleasant stay in this sympathetically converted steading. The open plan ground floor was spacious and airy with plenty of windows to let the light in. The kitchen was well equipped. The neat staircase led to the 2 bedrooms both well furnished and spacious, both the bathroom and en-suite were modern with very good showers. The staff were friendly and helpful.

An excellent holiday, staying in a very comfortable and well appointed cottage. There was a problem with the heating on arrival but a temporary solution was put in place very quickly and the problem resolved in a couple of days. We very much appreciate the cottage being available at this time of year.

Had a fantastic stay at the Granary Cottage for a long weekend. Cosy, with fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds and excellent showers. Loved the big windows into the yard and the wide window sills in the bedrooms to sit in and read with a gorgeous view over the meadows and hills. Brilliant walks right from the doorstep and in the area too.

We have been coming to Tomich for the past 25 years plus now and will keep returning for as long as I’m able. The area is stunning and if nature, peace and quiet is your thing there is nothing not to like. Plenty of walks to choose in every direction and Tomich holidays is the ideal place to base yourself for many other area beauty spots and attractions. The cottage was warm and cosy as ever, very clean and has everything you need. The staff reply to emails super quick and nothing is too much trouble. We have already booked for early 2024 so I will get my Tomich Fix nice and early next year.
Book and experience a Tomich holiday stay, you won’t regret it.

A great setup for family holidays. Good layout and a well equipped properties. The games room and outdoor play park are a real asset with ample space to run able or ride bikes. We stayed for three nights but could have easily stayed for longer. Would happily return.

Staying in the Glen Affric area is wonderful due to its beautiful nature with astonishing viewpoints and waterfalls.

The cotttage is spacious and had all facilities we needed, such as bath, over and washing machine. Very convenient.

Our kids (9, 11 year old) enjoyed the playing room with table-tennis table and pool biljart.

Thank you for a lovely week. A very peaceful and quiet location. Lovely cottage which has a well-equipped kitchen with large fridge freezer, washing machine and lots of space. Plenty of crockery as well for four people. The shower room and bath room were very clean and modern. Towels are provided as well.

I would have liked somewhere in the cottage to dry wet clothes apart from a tumble dryer but there is usually a drying room (which wasn't heated that week). There is a large games room with table football but unfortunately the pool was closed which has been a real asset in the past.

The surrounding area is beautiful for walks and biking. It can be as easy or as challenging as you like! The local cafes are highly recommended as very warm and welcoming. We ate at The Struy Inn which is an old favourite for a treat. The Cnoc Hotel at Struy is under new ownership and the food is also highly recommended and good value for money.

The Granary is a lovely cottage, comfy and spacious. Great for a family, we were, myself and my husband and 2 dogs. WiFi an Sky tv an added bonus.lots of walks straight from the door. Beautiful area to stay as so much to see. Having stayed in an awful lot of holiday self catering cottages it could do with a few more kitchen utensils, such as scissors, egg cups etc but most things were available. Heating is storage heaters and an electric stove in the living room. Lots of storage and cupboards, wardrobes etc. Would definatley recommend. 5⭐️

WE booked Clock and Granary cottages for a party of six going hillwalking in the area. It was a really good choice. Facilities excellent, location good for our purposes, swimming pool available, all exactly to suit our purposes. I’d recommend these cottages for walkers or for family holidays or for just getting away-from -it all.

7 adults occupied the Clock and Granary cottages which provided outstanding space and facilities to enable group dining and sociable gatherings . The additional facilities. Swimming pool, drying area , games room, bike shed, and adjacent parking was beneficial as was the close location of Tomich village with Cafe and Hotel bar and restaurant. Glen Affric itself is perfect for outdoor pursuits and needs no reviews.

A lovely, comfortable place to stay of historic interest. Plenty of space, great views and located in a beautiful part of the Highlands with plenty to do. We plan to go again. Recommended

Fabulous setting and very peaceful. We had a wonderful time exploring Glen Affric from here. It was always nice to come back to such a cosy and comfortable cottage to relax at the end of the day.
