Monnington House is a wonderful venue for a family and friends gathering. The house is beautifully decorated with comfortable and stylish furnishings and overall provides a warm and welcoming space. The kitchen is very well-equipped with ample crockery, cutlery, cookware, glasses for a large group as well as two ovens, two hobs, an Aga stove, two dishwashers and all in a space large enough for a number of chefs. We wanted something special where the family could get together and celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary. Monnington House was just perfect. We were blessed with amazing weather which allowed us all to make the best use of the wonderful outdoor facilities where the family played Football, Rounders and Cricket as well as just chilling in the sun. We have been visiting Monnington House for 6 years now with an extended family group of 10 adults and 8 children, ranging from their early 20s down. The house and rthe surrounding area has been a great place for us with activities available for all ages, including the river Wye and nearby Hay on Wye. The house itself is well set up for large groups, with games room and ample outdoor space, as well as excellent cooking faciliities. Our family has enjoyed coming back to Monnnigton House every year, and we expect that tradition to continue
Just perfect everything you could need all kept in like new condition. Very very comfortable and a stunning place to stay could not fault anything and would definitely revisit.
