We had a family gathering at Monnington House and the property, facilities and location exceeded our already elevated expectations. It was excellent value for money Anna the owner/manager of Mornington House was communicative and helpful making the booking easy. On arrival it was clear the house was very well equipped and the large rooms and bedrooms beautifully decorated and furnished. It had excellent facilities & Wi-Fi. Beautiful Monnington House and Garden Cottage had everything we needed for a perfect family gathering. Set in beautiful countryside, it was spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped and had plenty of room for our party of 18, while still being warm & cosy. Games room was a big hit and the welcome hamper a lovely touch. Host was easily contactable & ensured we made the most of our visit with lots of tips and local information. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Monnington to friends & family.
All 3 properties are comfortable furnished and equipped to a very high standard. The 3 reception rooms enabled the different age groups to get together without anyone feeling cut off from the party. The Games room provided a lot of entertainment. All the spacious bedrooms provided comfy mattresses, ensuite facilities andlots of hot water. We all wished to stay longer to enjoy all the comforts and explore the beautiful countryside, historic locations and super pubs in the area
From placing the initial booking , communication from the owner Anna was amazing , every question is answered and "The Cider Mill app" to add to your phone is the perfect way to have all the information you need both about the cottage and the local area , including places to visit and eat out , all to hand and is brilliant!
