Beacon View Barn is a spacious beautifully restored Grade ll listed sandstone barn set within the heart of the glorious North York Moors National Park.
The barn has it's own drive, enclosed 1/4 acre garden and large undercover patio and like it's neighbour Dale View has stunning views across Danby Dale.
The barn offers eco self catering accommodation for 6 guests across 3 double bedrooms. The generous 30ft living room has cosy underfloor heating below Yorkshire flagstone floors. The ground floor master bedroom and large ensuite wet room is popular for those with mobility issues.
This is a fabulous setting to explore the Yorkshire moors, forests and dales, foodie market towns, historic York and Yorkshire's heritage coastline which is just 20 minutes drive away.

We had a wonderful, relaxing and very restorative stay at Beacon View. The barn is immaculately organised, and perfectly equipped. Our hosts friendly, caring and responsive. We appreciated all the extra touches such as additional dog towels and equipment, made our stay beyond 5 star! We hope to be back in the summer months but our winter break was fantastic

Second visit this year. Autumn in the North Moors arguably one of the best times to visit. Danby and Beacon View an excellent base. Liz and Danny as ever welcoming and helpful. We will be back.

If you are looking for a luxurious break with amazing views, peace and quiet, with all the comforts of home and great local dog friendly pubs then book Beacon View Barn. The thoughtful hosts Liz and Danny are on hand should you require anything, all in all a fabulous week spent in North Yorkshire.

This place is truely magical, we look forward to our visit all year. This barn is wonderfully thought out managing to give both comfort and magnificence at the same time. We are in our fourth visit and love it. It is always exceptionally clean and tidy with fresh flowers in a jug and cake fizz and milk in the fridge.
As with any holiday accommodation the experience can be made better when the hosts are good, well Liz and Danny are exceptional so the experience is without rival. This truly is a home away from home with all the items you need and sunning views to boot. There is another barn on site which we had a sneak peak at this year and that is breathtaking, for anyone without a furry friend in tow it is worth booking. Quirky and well planned out it is both private and intimate with loads of space. The planning of both these spaces is fantastic and we will be back. I highly recommend this as a place to stay and just hope you leave room for us to book our holiday.

Superb cottage, superb hosts, superb holiday. Probably the best holiday cottage we've ever stayed in,everything was provided for, including two seating options for my father in the downstairs wet room. Also the views from the outdoor dining area were outstanding. All being well we will return next year.

We would highly recommend a stay at Beacon View with Danny and Liz. The location and views are superb and the accommodation excellent.
There is so.much to do in the area, or you could quite simply do nothing but relax.
Liz and Danny are also great hosts friendly but not to intrusive.

We were welcomed by Liz immediately upon arrival and she was so kind and thoughtful throughout our stay. The cottage was beautiful and set in the most peaceful location. Our teenage children loved the grounds and also played tennis daily. The facilities also enabled us to bring my elderly mother. Having a downstairs bedroom and wet room ensured that she could enjoy the holiday too.

A very thoughtfully curated space both inside and out. As a three generational holiday we needed space to relax, play, interact and also share quiet time without compromise and Beacon View delivered this on every level.
