Fistral Palms 2, a two bedroom self catering holiday cottage located in the Pentire area of Newquay on the North Cornwall coast. Offering modern and stylish holiday accommodation laid out over two floors this cottage is conveniently situated on the Pentire Headland between the south facing River Gannel estuary, within a few minutes walk from the world renowned surfing hotspot, Fistral Beach and walking distance of Newquay town centre.

Myself and my 2 daughters stayed at fistral palms 2. Location could not have been better. The house was really lovely, spotless and had everything we needed for our stay. The only down side was that we could not fit our car on the drive- but we managed roadside parking. We will stay here again and would highly recommend

2nd time we have stayed here as stayed last year and was just as good as before. Everything you need a home from home. Very clean and plenty of room and only minutes from the beach. When we did have small problem it was sorted out quickly. We will be back next year

The location of this house is amazing, we spent a week in august here and didn’t use the car once, just 5 min walk to fistral beach, 5 min walk to fern pit cafe to overlook crantock bay, 15-20 min walk to harbour and Newquay centre.
The house was great for 2 adult and 2 kids. Could do with more crockery as 4 plates, bowls, cups etc meant that we had to wash up after every meal.
People have commented about the parking space, it is small but I fit my 7 seater s max sideways for the week.
Overall a lovely week.

Decided to make a booking on the day the holiday started, last minute.com
Have used self cater cornwall before so had an idea it would not be disappointing. We arrived in the dark (1:30am) and it was difficult to find as there is more than one street with the same name. Apart from a couple of cobwebs it was clean. For me, I like to unpack everything, but couldn't as there were no draws big enough to put smaller things. And only one shelf in wardrobe in main bedroom so couldn't unpack properly. Twin room, same issue but with 2 wardrobes. Also shelf a bit high for me in both rooms. Master bedroom a little on the small side. Nice opening doors, but cant be opened fully due to the bed. Outside area is paved with a circular bench seating area. Not very comfortable to sit at for longer periods if you need a back rest. Small airer to dry clothes outside. Could do with something bigger for larger items, like towels.
Living area is ok, but sofa is very hard and uncomfortable. Kitchen could do with a washer dryer. Dishwasher is compact. But has more or less everything you may need for a holiday. It could do with at least another tv in the bedrooms (on an angled bracket) children want their own space and not watch what us boring adults watch. Overall. If your children are small its fine. Its clean, not far from the beach. Parking at front is very tiny so beware if you have a large car. I would stay there again but probably not with older children. Dont let this review put you off. It is nice, I need a little more space and storage. And it could do with, in my opinion, a larger tv.

Ideal location on pentire close to Fistral and Crantock beaches, 15 mins walk into town. Does state car parking but very small area and you may have to park on road dependant on vehicle size, which can be congested sometimes. Really good layout of interior spaces, I have marked down comfort as TV and DVD not user friendly and bluetooth speaker not available/functional now removed from website. Patio area with seating pleasant open space, but opening door and window frame not very clean which let this down.
The above comments are only small details but if improved would make the 5 star.

Just returned after a great week in this gorgeous accomodation. It was immaculate and would certainly stay here again.Fistral bay beach is a short walk away and the location is nice and quiet.

This was our first time in this lovely modern spacious accommodation in a fabulous location of Newquay.
Very clean and spotless, which was most important to use due to Covid.
Beside being very spacious inside there is a sunny outside space great when weather was good.
Would definitely recommend.

Unable to stay in the apartment we’ve stayed in before because of COVID rules, we opted to stay for a week in a self-contained place instead and we were not disappointed. We know Newquay and the Pentire area well and we are quite happy with being just out of the town centre with a 15 minute walk to get there.
The bedrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. My only small observation with the double bedroom was the lack of drawer space. There was one wardrobe under the eaves with a shelf and a locked cupboard, one bedside table on one side of the bed and a small console table, but nothing on the other side. I accept that this was because the bedroom was small and there wasn’t any space to put another set of drawers in. The full size windows made the bedroom lovely and light.
The bathroom was clean and the separate shower was great.
The twin bedroom had two cupboards/wardrobes and two bedside cabinets, so was better equipped for anyone needing more space for their things.
The living/kitchen/dining area was lovely, with space for us all to sit down. We didn’t use the dishwasher apart from the last morning because we only had 4 cups, bowls, large plates and small plates and it seemed a waste of water to run it, but I assume that was because of COVID precautions and in a normal year, there would be more provided.
We had a slight issue with a leak from a loose pipe connection under the sink, but I reported it to the owners and it was quickly sorted the same day.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay at 2 Fistral Palms again ......... it was clean, comfortable and just what we needed after such a year.
