This cottage is small, but comfortable and clean. Staff are easy to contact and quick to help with any issues. Beautiful environment for walks and days out.
Last minute get away didn't disappoint. Perfect location, well equipped clean cottage, perfect for a relaxing short break. Cream tea was wonderful touch as was our dog welcome pack (nice touch) Location great, fantastic walks from the cottage. Swimming pool was a fabulous treat. I would highly recommend.
The cottage was clean & well equipped but the sitting area is very small for 4 adults & the quite basic sofas aren't very comfortable. The central heating was unfortunately not working when we arrived, so it was pretty cold. We were given electric heaters but it meant that our towels stayed damp during our stay. I think the check in & check out times are too extreme & there seem to be so many rules to adhere to which took away that relaxing holiday feel.
Had a lovely week at Church Farm with very few hiccups. The pool was lovely and we made good use of the games room. The bedding and towels were extremely well laundered and the kitchen was nicely stocked, and the bathroom and kitchen supplies were very welcome We did have to clean the fridge on arrival as it was not as clean as I would like, but the rest of the cottage was very clean and tidy. We sadly couldn't use BBQs, but I understand the rationale behind this, but as a large group this would have been nice. I found the cottage comfortable and enjoyed my time there. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I can highly recommend Church Farm cottages.
A very comfortable and well equipped cottage with everything that we needed, except a corkscrew! Apart from the cleaning staff, whom we met when we were leaving, and some adults who were setting up a birthday party we had no real contact with the "management".
We had a family reunion so booked five cottages. Had a great time . All cottages lovely, warm, clean and comfortable. All well stocked. Only criticism of Burys was fairly sure that the bed is queen or very small king! Loved the surrounding countryside and restaurants. The pool is a star. Booked for an hour just us. Peaceful and warm
