This is a lovely place to stay the accommodation is everything you need. A lot of thought has gone into the needs of visitors.
The area is beautiful 5 minutes from a very good pub and a bus stop.
We’ve stayed in 4 different cottages now. They’re all comfy, cosy, clean, well equipped, have great WiFi and the best value for money this side of Bath!! The warm indoor pool is a massive bonus for all (plus there’s a wood fired sauna though I didn’t use it) Its all very hands off here, but if you need anything, the whole team are on it with smiles. Great walks from your doorstep, with lovely pub in the village, so perfect for the dogs too. Thank you for having us!!
Excellent well equipped cottage and very comfortable beds, with a nice seating area outside. The cottage is a short stroll from a great pub, and the bus stop for getting into Bath. Bradford on Avon is also a short drive away, so it was the perfect location for a family get together. The digital guidebook with all the information you need was very helpful. Highly recommend!
I was disappointed in the size of cottage. From the website it looks larger than it is, would be a squash to 4 adults.
Kitchen cupboards need refronting, and bathroom a bit bleak and unwelcoming.
Table would be no good for 4 to eat proper meals and no room to extend. Living area far too small for comfort.
I think it all needs up-grading.
It would be very difficult to stay in if the weather was poor.
Metal table and chairs outside were a bonus for good weather.
All was in order and well provided, particularly good bed linen. Fan was necessary for heatwave, not sure if the cottage would be so good in cold weather. Outside sitting area good.
We had a lovely stay at Burys Cottage. The cottage was very clean, the bathroom (newly refurbished) was spotless, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Special mention has to go to the bed, one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in on holiday, and as a very picky sleeper, that’s high praise! The living area is on the small side, though, so probably not somewhere you’d want to spend too long indoors.
We don't have a car. We managed ok with Ubers to visit the nearby towns and online food deliveries, but it did feel a little restrictive. We really enjoyed Hartley Farm Shop and Rest...more
