Our group had a wonderful stay at Cossington Park. Everyone loved exploring the grounds and eating together in the dining room. The young and old amongst us found lots of interesting features at the property. The kitchen had everything we needed, which was particularly useful as the birthday event involved lots of cooking and courses, with room for us to organise everyone for preparing food. Lots of space for relaxing, too. I would recommend to other guests.
We stayed for a five nights in the second half of December and had a lovely time. The house has everything you need for a super comfortable stay and we very much enjoyed our time there. There are lots of interesting places to visit without travelling too far and the most exciting one for us was to visit a RSPB nature reserve to see the starlings gathering for the evening roost. It would have been lovely to have done walks from the house, and it is possible, but not a huge choice of places to go, so we preferred to go by car just a bit further afield. Our family of 12 spent a lovely long weekend celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary. The house was beautiful, clean, very well stocked, comfortable and set in delightful gardens. The games room and sporting facilities were particularly enjoyed by all generations. The antique grand piano provided excellent musical entertainment and the welcome hamper contained luxury treats. Overall the perfect setting for our anniversary.
