We certainly had a stay to remember. 45mph winds and torrential rain. Suffice to say nobody slept and the tent leaked although not whilst it was actually raining which was odd. Quite a number of things were broken or not working including the fairy lights around the tent. Harry was attentive and came with new lamps as none of those provided were not working or very bright. He also fixed the flue back to the chimney, when it blew apart! A number of chairs were broken, so we took care to not use those!
We're glad that we prepared well in advance. Our extra lamps and kindling were well used and our lighter saved the day getting the burner going (the supplied lighter didn't work).
Overall we had a good stay, despite the grim weather. We left a number of improvement suggestions which we hope that they will implement that will help the stay of others in the future. We're lucky as we were local, so we did have the luxury of being able to go home and stock up if required, which ultimately wasn't required.
We would stay again and probably would go with similar items to make the stay more comfortable.

This was my third and my friend's fifth time returning to the glorious Brocklands Farm glamping. Before we arrived, communication from the new owners Anna and Harry was very good. The new bathroom / hot water system worked well and the hamper was also very welcome!

As ever, the location is stunning. It was our first time having to endure a thunderstorm and even though the weather wasn't brilliant we survived and made use of the blankets / hot water bottles and the woodburner to create a cosier experience for a wet day in June than we had anticipated!

Our girls, 13 and 10, still love the swing and seemingly aren't too old. We did miss some of the old conveniences of tupperware / more kids plastic tableware as well as olive oil which used to be found on previous visits - but overall are relieved to see that despite changing hands the magic of Brocklands is pretty much untouched!

Hi there, we really enjoyed staying here for 2 nights while doing a few days of the South Downs Way. It was magical and very well equipped and cosily warm which was important as this was at the beginning of November! We re imaging how great it would be in the summer!
Only one thing that we thought needed attention , is the cafetiere which isn't working well, probably been used a lot!
Thanks so much, we intend to be back!

A great base for our half term break. The property was impeccably clean and tidy. The beds were SO comfortable and the bed linen and towels were of the highest quality.
The welcome goodies were great (especially the lemon drizzle cake) and we loved honing our fire-lighting skills to make Lapwing warm and cosy as well as creating hot water for our showers.
The property had everything that we could need and was such a wonderful hideaway from the busyness of life.
The location is perfect ... amazing views and walks from the doorstep.
Thank you for a wonderful stay. We have already recommended you to others!

These are really fantastic tents located in a beautiful part of Hampshire. The tents are provided with everything you could possibly ask for including cake on arrival, milk in the fridge, fresh coffee etc. The beds are really comfy, proper beds with high quality sheets, pillows and duvets. There is a proper bathroom with a shower supplied with piping hot water from the stove. The view down the valley is incredible and theer are loads of great walks from the tent, including down to the pub in the village. A really great stay, just sorry we weren't there for longer. Thank you Buffy.

We had the most wonderful time staying in Lapwing as a family of 5, plus dog, over the long weekend. The views of the countryside are remarkable and there are so many walks to take from the front door! The woods behind the field are fab for making dens and exploring. You have all you need in this little home and can sit by the fire outside or on the terrace by candlelight. We loved it and the kids have made us promise to return! Buffy was and excellent host with brilliant communication.

A really lovely short break. The safari tent was just lovely. Has everything you could possibly need and the location was amazing. Buffy and her family we helpful and welcoming.

I really find it hard to think of any other airbnb or campsite that manages to be as remote and private as this in the South Downs. We really felt that we were the only people for miles, we didn’t see or hear people, cars or even houses for our 3 day stay. The location and views are idyllic, we watched hares in the next field and one hare even ran past the tent.
This holiday is not really about the glamping, (which can consist of rows of fancy tent cheek-by-jowl with others) this holiday is all about the isolation and remoteness and uniqueness.
Yes, it was a challenge to heat water for a shower and also to cook on the AGA but that was part of the enjoyment of the holiday.
Lovely attention to detail made this off-grid experience as luxurious as possible , we liked the fresh flowers, the welcome pack, the quality bedding.
We were there during a full storm and the tent stayed warm and cozy, fine for the summer although I probably wouldn’t return in the winter when it would be very difficult to heat. But when the weather cleared up we could watch the sunsets from the veranda or enjoy sitting around the fire pit after a BBQ

A great stay, thank you. Warm greetings from Buffy, lovely treats in the tents and a very comfortable bed. Heating works great and the kitchen allows for ease of food for children. Could stay there for days and enjoy the rolling countryside and nearby villages.

Have just returned from a 5 day October stay at beautiful Brocklands Farm. Can honestly say the scenery from the tent was some of the best I've ever seen, absolutely stunning. Unfortunately too cloudy to get a good view of the stars, but the biblical amount of rain at night only added to the cosiness of the safari tent. Kids (6 & 4) had an amazing time. Highly recommend

I booked the Lapwing for a long weekend to celebrate a big birthday with friends. Due to the layout I would say you have to be close friends (we are) as every noise is heard at night! I think if the weather was nicer we’d have been able to make the most of the beautiful view by using the lovely veranda and the fire pit but it was very cosy especially with the wood burner and the fairy nights. It was memorable and enjoyable and Buffy and Hugh were very helpful and the welcome cake was delicious.

Just returned from a fantastic weekend staying in the Lapwing safari tent. The tent (more like a lodge!) was fully equipped with everything we needed and the beds and bedding were lovely, warm and comfortable. My daughter especially enjoyed sleeping in the cabin bed. The tree swing was a firm favourite and gathering wood in the nearby forest to make campfires went down really well.
The views, especially at sunset, are spectacular and the location perfect. We enjoyed walking down the fields to the local village to the Thomas Lord where dogs are very much welcomed.
We all gave this holiday a firm 10/10 and cant wait to return again.

We stayed here over the Jubilee weekend with our two children, 5 and 7. Perfect location with stunning scenery and plenty of open space. The kids loved being able to roam free - the rope swing was a particular favourite. We had the bonus of another family with similar age children in the other tent and they all had a fantastic time playing together while we got to relax. The tents are spacious with comfy beds and nice furnishings. It took us a day or so to completely figure out the wood burning stove but that was more to do with us than the instructions ! Great to have the option to pre order food for our arrival and we ate at the local pub a few times. Overall a lovely stay and we hope to be back again.

WOW was my first word when I walked round to the veranda. It was like being in the Serengeti, was expecting to see the wildebeest! Fabulous hosts, everything you need included in price no hidden extras. Amazing beds! Book it don’t hesitate.

We had a wonderful weekend in Lapwing. 6 of us were staying, a delayed celebration from 2020.
The tent was wonderful, comfy beds, lovely duvets, great outdoor area at front of tent. Wonderful views and walks.
Great to have access to all of the farm tracks. Lovely walk to West Meon and the pub. Ordered puddings via website, they were delicious. BBQ on the Sunday, great fun. Our dog loved it, she had a great time. We will be back!

I booked both Yellowhammer and Lapwing for my daughter’s Hen Weekend. Host Buffy was absolutely amazing with making the process of booking and arriving easy. She show us how everything worked and then left us to enjoy our stay. The tents are beautifully and tastefully equipped. Everything you need for a luxurious glamping experience is catered for, with comfortable beds, easy to light stove for cooking and separate wood burner for heating water.

Lapwing is set nearest the car parking and slightly more exposed to the elements than Yellowhammer but the views I felt were more striking especially for the stunning sunset.

Brocklands Farm Glamping is set in the most stunning countryside and makes for the perfect location to walk part of the South Downs Way and is set snuggly just below Winchester Hill. The views are stunning.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Brocklands Farm Glamping as good value for money, excellent location, thoroughly clean throughout and every detail thought about.

We had a last minute short break to Lapwing. Buffy was incredibly helpful and quick in responding to questions before we arrived.

The tents themselves are in a beautiful location and really well thought out and comfortable.

Unfortunately for us, the outside temperature dropped off massively, waking up to a flurry of snow one morning. Despite the adverse weather we managed to keep the tent warm enough with the wood burner.

We had a great trip and can’t wait to go back

Booked for a relaxing long weekend with my family and it was everything we could have wished for. The tent was finished to a high standard and it was very comfortable. The setting and views were just outstanding. It’s certainly not the cheapest way to ‘glamp’ but it’s up there with a lodge and so is well worth the money in this respect.

This is our second time staying at Brocklands and once again it didn't disappoint. We lucked out the done lovely weather and it was just so lovely to let the kiddies run ferral building camps in the woods and playing on the ropeswing. The site itself is tucked totally away, but you have easy access to main roads of you want to go out and about to explore. Our children particularly enjoyed crabbing at Emsworth. I would hesitate to recommend end this place to anyone wanting to get away from day to day stresses. Beds are super comfy and facilties great and Buffy is always just a phonecall away of you need anything x

Another beautiful weekend in paradise. I love spending time at the tent, lighting the fire, cooking, drinks on the veranda, watching the sunset, playing games etc - as well as getting out and about on lovely walks with great views and pubs.
Exceptionally clean and everything high quality. This is something like our 7th stay here and we keep coming back. Thanks for another great holiday!

Everything we needed. Comfortable, warm, lovely setting, walk to the village, butchers, deli and pub. Saw a couple of hares and what we think were red kites. Little bit of noisy music from the other safari tent on our last night which was a shame. Other than that we spent 5 days without getting in our car, living at a slow pace and enjoying the nature, peace and quiet.

Our second stay here and we’re already planning to return. We love everything about this idyllic spot. Our girls played on the rope swing for hours and built dens in the woods, while we sat on the deck and enjoyed the peace and the view. The tent is very comfortable and has everything you need for a few nights stay. We walked to the village through the fields for lunch in the pub, meat from the butcher and ice creams from the shop. It’s such a wonderful place!

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay for a long bank holiday weekend this year. It is a very quiet location with beautiful views. The hosts of the tents are very helpful and we were very happy with the standard of the tents. The duvets and pillows were exceptionally comfortable. If the weather could have been more on our side it would have made for even an more special weekend. We recommend the Thomas Lord as a short walk pub for dinner.. The food was delicious and the walk was not a challenge.

Staying in the beautiful tent was a much needed family getaway. Despite the weather being changeable and a storm too we had the most perfect time.
