The Stables is a beautifully renovated outbuilding which combines character with a modern comfortable space to stay. Our host had put fresh flowers and delicious home baked cake in the cottage to welcome us. It was a short walk into the historic and quaint town of Malmesbury so ideally situated for a base to visit the area.

Great location with short walk into the centre of Malmesbury which has everything you need and expect from a lovely Cotswold village. The Stables is a genuine renovation of a real stable and loft. With this in mind the stairs are steep and there is limited head room upstairs in the bedroom. Downstairs living area is cozy and comfortable with a nice little enclosed area outside.
Parking was easy and safe.

We really enjoyed our stay at the stables , the location was perfect for visiting the many lovely Cotswold villages ,and the town of bath . Jenny & owain were very welcoming, as was the welcome pack in the cottage .(the cake was lovely) would definitely recommend.

The whole property was lovely and our cottage was a comfortable sympathetic restoration. Lots of nice touches, such as an excellent cake, fresh flowers and eggs, toiletries and good quality towels. Parking on site, short walk to Malmesbury and plenty of places to get food for cooking. All amenties provided as described.

We spent a lovely few days at The Stables.
The accommodation is excellent and of a very high standard , almost luxurious.
A peaceful place to holiday surrounded by so many interesting places .
Jenny and Owain are kind hosts and just wee homely touches made our stay special like the delicious cake which was there when we arrived along with eggs, milk and other things .
Can thoroughly recommend.

although we did not meet in person as you were away with your family, you made sure that we felt welcome in your cottage in Malmesbury. Everything in the cottage was spotless and well considered. Last minute get away for a couple of nights, great location with walks and the town nearby, there’s a supermarket up the road for supplies which is walking distance and The Stables had everything we needed to cook and relax. The building has been beautifully converted to a very high standard with high quality furnishings. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, would recommend

Highly recommend The Stables for a festive Christmas retreat. It is in a great location in Malmesbury, with parking. Just a short walk from the town centre. The property is beautifully decorated, comfortable and very well equipped. Hosts very welcoming, including a lovely complimentary food basket with coffee and homemade cake.
