Location: Chia is on the southern-most tip of Sardinia Near Santa Margherita, approx 1 hours from Cagliari Airport
Description: These four star Garden rooms have one double or twin beds and are located on the ground floor. They have a garden with table & chairs. The 240 rooms are casual in style with pastel colour-painted furniture, terracotta tile floors, and garden views. All room types include air-conditioning, telephone, satellite TV, safe, mini-bar and WIFI. Blue tiled shower room. Prices are based on Half Board, which includes breakfast and dinner

Great for kids, although the week we stayed the kids club and restaurant were closed. Fabulous beaches nearby and crystal clear water.

We had a wonderful time in Chia Laguna. We booked a garden room and for my husband, myself our 8 year old and our 1.5 yrs old. we just about fitted, but we were very comfortable. We were impressed with the baby facilities, better than usual, a thick soft mattress on the cot, a nice changing unit and a sterilising unit were supplied. The baby pool and little play area were excellent. The regular pool was also lovely and the garden rooms and ideally positioned close to the pool. The regular train to the beach was a big hit with our kids and was very regular and comfortable. The beach itself was exceptional,really beautiful, not overcrowded even at the height of the season. The food was very good, excellent selection every night, lots of seafood, nice BBQ, good choice. The only minor complaint was at breakfast there was no fresh orange juice, but this is often the case unfortunately in Italy for some reason. The kids club was very good and our son dipped in just for the daily soccer sessions and really enjoyed it. He also went the overnight camping trip within the resort grounds which was a real highlight and the pizza night. The kids club staff were really good, very welcoming and encouraging and engaged very well with the kids of all nationalities.
All in all it was a great holiday and we were very impressed, however it is a very expensive holiday and though we went half board which I'd recommend, watch out for the extras which are extremely expensive, such as coffee at the bars, beers ice creams etc.
