Location: Santa Margherita di Pula, Southern Sardinia, approx 1 hour from Cagliari Airport.

Description: Deluxe Bungalow with 24m². This is a double bedroom with an internal sitting room area and sofa bed. Bathroom with separate shower and bath tub. Private patio and garden area. Nestled among the lush gardens, the bungalows of Hotel Bouganville (4*) are immersed in the flowers and greenery of the Mediterranean. Each room has a private patio, TV, air-conditioning, mini-bar, hair-dryer and safe. Centrally located between the two main swimming pool areas, Baia delle Palme and the Oasis, the Hotel Bouganville is the most popular choice for families.

Breakfast: dedicated restaurant: Terrazza Oasis

Dinner Restaurants included in the half board: Pineta buffet, (mineral water and ½ bottle of house wine per person included, no reservation required), Forte Grill: variety of assorted grilled meats (no reservation required), Sardinian: local specialities (reservation required), Brazilian: meats on long skewers grilled over a BBQ (reservation required), Ethnic Restaurant: a themed restaurant which changes every year (reservation required).

We were not given the deluxe bungalows we paid for we were instead given rooms in another of the hotels.

We are not sure why but the rooms were nice and we had a great time.

I booked the various restaurants beforehand and that was a good idea even in the low season. The restaurants are all very good and the service is fantastic. There was an issue one evening but this was quickly resolved.
The staff are very helpful. The cycling was great we went with the staff on a ride outside the complex and it was fabulous.

The go karting was also very well organised and fun

We were upgraded to stay at Hotel Castello in a fantastic room overlooking the sea.

We had been recommended by staff to return in September when resort is quieter but weather during the day and evening still warm. The advice was sound.

The beach and pools were never crowded unless during downtime for a conference.

There was a wide selection of food choices both at breakfast and dinner to cater for all tastes. Fantastic choice of pizzas at lunchtime too.

We shall certainly return there for another holiday.

Wonderful holiday and very little to fault. Amazing sports academies. The buffet (Pineta restaurant) was superb. The staff were all delightful and very helpful but probably more staff required to ensure service at some of the other restaurants isn't so slow. Also, a way to avoid sunbeds being 'bagged' but not being used throughout the day at the Oasis pool would be appreciated. Otherwise a perfect holiday and great fun.
