Location: Quinta do Lago, Algarve approximately 20 minutes from Faro Airport
Description: 2 bedroom Townhouse with small private pool at Martinhal Quinta comprise of 2 bedroom with en-suite bathrooms, living room, kitchen and guest bathroom. Outside there is a private garden with swimming pool. The comfortable lounge/dining room has air-conditioning, a safe, an alarm, cable TV including Pay TV, Video on demand and internet. The well equipped kitchen has an oven, hob, microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee machine, kettle, dishwasher and washing machine/dryer. These self catering properties benefit from daily maid service (excluding kitchen) with towels and bed linen being changed every 3 days.
Occupancy: The price shown here is based upon 4 people (an extra bed can be added for a child aged 12 and under at a supplement)

It was not the first time we stayed at Martinhal and this villa was great. Well ecquipped and located. It was the firfst time we booked holidays with Design Holiday and it was surprisingly easy not only to research but also to book and pay. No hassle at all on arrival with everything ready in reception to receive us and take us straight to the villa with no wait and paperwork.

Having stayed at the Martinhal in Sagres, we had high expectations. Our villa was spacious and well equipped, plus the small pool was much enjoyed by our six year old son.

The resort itself is well kept, with a shop, pool area, and restaurant that is open until 8.30. Breakfast was great and catered for all requirements.

Customer service is execellent and all the staff are genuinely pleasant and helpful. We had an issue with our hire car and Djores could not have been more helpful in finding an alternative hire company.

We've had a brilliant time and will definitely return.

Our 2bed townhouse was high quality, had all facilities a family would need (dishwasher, washing machine, cloths tea towels etc, kitchen towel, bed guards, travel cot and mattress, toilet step, potty, wifi, beach towels, stair gates, bottle warmer) although it's worth emailing beforehand to request baby related specifics. All kitchen and bathroom reusables were replenished except dishwasher and washing machine tablets.

Pool wasn't fenced but I've been informed most will be by next summer.

Shop not as expensive as I'd expect for a resort shop. Has everything you would need for the holiday.

Reception staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Townhouses are a short 5 min walk from pool area but a slight hill so I'm pleased we bought our stroller even for the 3.5 year old. Villas are closer to pool area.

Kids club staff and facilities excellent.

Breakfast amazing.

Pool bar lunches very good and inexpensive.

Overall really good value for money.
