Although the hotel is very well maintained and the staff are excellent. The downside is that this is a very large busy hotel that holds a lot of conferences meaning that it is frequently very busy and quite noisy even out of the main holiday season.

I was disappointed with the restaurants which are extremely expensive and in my view the food only average for good à la cart restaurants. For two people with limited alcohol we frequently paid around €200, and then not choosing for example the expensive steaks .

We hired a car and went to a number of French restaurants in town where the food was better and just over half the price.

The other annoying aspect was that from early afternoon loud disco music is played with a constant drum beat which I guess is fine if you like that sort of music but it is unclear why it’s necessary for it to be so loud with there being nowhere outside the hotel where it can be avoided, that is by any of the pools or on the beach

The other thing about the restaurants is that the dining is outside and there is no attempt to limit customer smoking so twice we had to leave our table very quickly because of the dense smell of smoke from other users.
