Our visit to Fron Fawr was fantastic for our summer family holiday. Gareth made us feel welcome before we even arrived - taking delivery of our Tesco groceries when we were running late and even popping them in the fridge for us! The accommodation was fantastic. Quiet and really comfortable for our family. We loved the little touches (bottle of Prosecco etc) when we arrived and the highchair, cot and monitors provided meant our car wasn't full of all our baby items! Lovely spacious house. Kitchen would benefit from an oven mitt, more chopping boards and a couple of small saucepans. Also, pillows not too comfortable! But a lovely spacious house with plenty of room to spread out and the little ones enjoyed visiting the animals. Steps up and down inside and out a bit taxing over the week with two toddlers but stair gates helped.
Had a wonderful week at Fron Fawr. The owners were lovely. The cottage was well equipped, clean and spacious. We saw lots of animals on the farm including al pakas. We used the dog agility equipment. The hot tub was delightful. Enclosed garden was great for the dog to play in. Plus there was a large grassy area to use too although it was on a slope. Bit too cold for the BBQ area this time but would like to try it in the warmer weather. Had some lovely beach trips at Penbryn and one 15 mins away by car. Both sandy. All inclusive all very good stay nice helpful people, could do with new microwave, dish drainer rusty dusty on sofa legs , grouting in bathroom towel holder a bit rusty. But cannot knock the stay and would definitely return . Hot tub great being under cover great idea .thanks Garath and Helen.
Musty smell on arrival. No introduction of owner during weeks stay. Felt it was quite run down.3 star at best. Pages removed from guest book. No Wi-Fi. Instruction book needs updating. All windows need cleaning especially velux windows. Lack of plug sockets. Sofa not as photos online. Very uncomfortable. Washing machine appears to leak. Toilet seats both loose.
