Fron Fawr is a collection of five family and dog friendly self-catering holiday cottages which have been converted from traditional Welsh slate and stone barns, into bright spaces offering modern holiday living with a contemporary design and feel.
Absolutely stunning cottage with beautiful views. Great location for the beaches and Cardigan. A very relaxing stay and Helen was incredibly helpful with everything.
Would highly recommend.
Our visit to Fron Fawr was fantastic for our summer family holiday. Gareth made us feel welcome before we even arrived - taking delivery of our Tesco groceries when we were running late and even popping them in the fridge for us! The accommodation was fantastic. Quiet and really comfortable for our family. We booked a family weekend at a well maintained Glyndwr cottage, value for money.
Before our arrival, we informed the owners about our 9 month old granddaughter, and they put everything thing in place for us highchair, cot, safety gates at no extra cost.
Fron Fawr is in a perfect location to get around, around 5 miles from Cardigan town.
The whole family enjoyed the weekend and we would highly recommend Fron Fawr.
Myrddin cottage at Fron Fawr was well equipped, well-located for exploring the beautiful countryside and very comfortable for a couple of days of relaxation. The hosts were great, responsive and friendly. The walks around the farm are excellent, especially if you are lucky enough to have good weather. There are a couple of lovely pubs nearby for food and the cottage is only a short drive from some great beaches. Would stay again.

For us there was a number of maintenance issues which should have been apparent if regular checks are done- motorised blind in lounge was not working so stuck 1/2 way. Light bulb gone in lounge, no remote for fire stick. Kitchen had a huge number of glasses but not many plates or bowls and mixed range. Odd selection of cooking/serving crockery. Kitchen clock was not working nor was the tumble drier as the on/off button would not stay on. Cup holder in upstai...more
