We had a wonderful weekend celebrating a 60th birthday, staying in the main farmhouse and the Church barn. All facilities available for cooking and socialising. There is a big communal area with three sofas to relax in as well as a snug smaller lounge. Loved the bright crocheted blankets on the beds and all the interesting pictures on the walls. The gardens and outdoor space were great for the kids to play in with a climbing frame, swing and stunning views of the hills. Our group of 19 had a wonderful weekend stay. The communication from the hosts was excellent. The setting and facilities were perfect- plenty of space for communal games both indoors and outdoors, working and extensive kitchen areas, and good bathroom provision. We particularly loved the outdoor areas, and spending time together in the kitchen of the largest house. We're hoping to return very soon!
We stayed at the Hay Barn for the second time in just a couple of months, and it was another lovely stay in the beautifully appointed, quiet and comfortable home for catching up with four generations of our family!
