Brilliant location with easy access to mainland if needed and the pontoon and slipway was great for us with the boat during our trip up for the Rib Rendevouz at Easdale. But need to be quick for booking the pontoon to keep boat afloat if prefered.

Perfect location for peacefulness and very scenic area where all the staff were very welcoming.

We will definitely be back at somepoint in the future

Can’t fault anything about this wee gem. If you need to get away from it all for a bit, then this is the perfect place. Comfortable and spotless accommodation. Lovely little site with amazing views. Headed home with batteries fully recharged. Would definitely recommend.

We had a wonderful stay in Heather. The caravan was spotless and contained everything we needed for our stay.
Sunnybrae is a very peaceful and wildlife rich location with the relaxing sounds of Oystercatchers, Sandpipers and great views of the local seals. Now we have found Sunnybrae we will certainly return!

If you want peace & quiet this is the place to be. We enjoyed looking for seals passing near us in the water whilst also discovering the other nooks and crannies on Luing.

I travel more than 300 miles to the site and this was my 7th visit which tells you everything you need to know. This site is lovely and peaceful dog friendly and packed with wildlife. The site is run very professionally and with a very friendly touch. I hate leaving and can't wait to return.

What a wonderful stay we had at sunnybrae.The weather was superb.Three nights was just perfect for myself my partner & our 6 year old grandson.The caravan was very clean & comfortable with excellent views over the water.Appreciated being able to have the use of dvds for grandson to watch before bed.Also the use of barbecue & badminton set.A beautiful island with lovely friendly residents.We would definitely recommend sunnybrae caravan park & we will definitely be back again sometime.

What can I say? Sunnybrae is a wee slice of heaven. Heather caravan was compact but perfect with everything I needed, and beautifully clean. The utensils and pots/ pans provided were good sizes, the knives were sharp too (these things are important to me as I love to cook). Mike met me as I arrived at the site (very welcoming and personal touch) and helped me out with various bits of advice whilst there. I was on a solo trip for some introvert time (busy mum of 3!) and the Isle of Luing has been an absolute balm. Like all the caravans in the site, Heather looks out over the Cuan Sound and to wake up to that view every day was marvellous. It is the caravan that is least favourably positioned, and it still has a clear and soul-feeding view, so I can only imagine what the others’ views are like!

The site is small and efficiently run, no massive signs or bossy rules, and there’s an eco feel to it too with a compost bin and recycling easily available.

The only slight niggle for me was the bed in the main room - quite hard to retire to after a lot of activity and not the comfiest, although I expect all caravan beds are like this to be fair. Bringing your own pillows will probably help. In any case, this certainly didn’t detract from a wonderful stay on a breathtaking wee island.

The hosts of the caravan site were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The caravan was exceptionally good condition, clean and comfortable.

The site was clean an amazing location .

The ferry operators and Sky the dog worked 7 days a week and run a great service . Sky the dog was amazing , friendly and enjoyed her job

Lovely week at sunnybrae caravan park, beautiful location , caravan was very clean , couple of niggles, microwave smelt of fish and oven didn't seem to regulate properly and fire alarm went off every time you used oven, but as I say just niggles. I am sure we will return.

Stunning location. The caravan was spotless, comfortable and well equipped. We had a wonderful family holiday exploring Luing and Seil by bike and on foot, enjoying watching the wildlife and the stunning views. Sunnybrae caravan site is extremely well run and we appreciated the obvious thought and effort given to sustainability and environmental issues.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return. The location is stunning and it is just lovely to watch the birds. The caravans are well sited and not crowded together. The standard of cleaning is superb and the caravans are well supplied with kitchen equipment of a good quality. If you enjoy peace and quiet this is an ideal place to relax.

Such a wonderful location. Daily seal spotting out of the window. We even had a quick glimpse of an otter over at Ellenbeich harbour. The only problem is we didn't stay longer.

We really enjoyed our brief stay on the Isle of Luing- spotlessly clean & well-equipped van with spectacular views over the Sound of Luing. Spent many happy hours tramping over the roads & footpaths of the island- and happy hours curled up with book & coffee in a warm comfy van on the one windy & wet day. Special mention to Brian in Toberonochy for superb garden & gift of home grown tomatoes! Thanks to Mike for keeping in touch so well during lockdown and warm welcome & hospitality when we were finally able to arrive- much appreciated

Sunnybrae is just what the doctor orders, if you need a break from the hustle and bustle and demands of city life.

Waking up to the sea views while taking in a morning coffee, with the occasional boat your only distraction, we couldn't have asked for a more relaxing holiday.

Mike (our host) was away, but was in contact immediately if we needed anything, and he tried to help when we missed our first night due to a punctured tyre.

The site manager it's waste and recycling responsibly and I was so pleased to see areas left as wildflower meadows to encourage wildlife.

I'd highly recommend the site.

Despite mixes weather this was a wonderful holiday. Spectacular views and lovely walks. Well worth a walk over the hill to The Hebrides Centre in Culipool. Even a cinema in the Toberonachy village hall. Still eating the brambles picked on our walks. The caravan has everything required for a cosy break.

Booking the caravan was easy on line and payment was by bank transfer in two parts.
The caravan was all ready for us when we arrived and was spotlessly clean.
The seating areas and beds were very comfortable and the views were absolutely stunning.
Our caravan was quite close to the one next door so we did get a little bit of noise from our neighbours, but nothing that bothered us.
The bothy is very well stocked with dvds and books, a washing machine and frozen foods to purchase if you want to cook - the caravan has a full size cooker, microwave, toaster and kettle plus all the pots, pans crockery and cutlery you might need.
We would definitely stay again.

We had an excellent weekend, The site and Mike and Jen were very welcoming and helpful. Luing is beautiful island with great walks and very friendly residents. Cullipool is a must visit the Atlantic Centre and the disused quarries fascinating. Would recommend this site to everyone and we will be back. Dogs loved it

As the title suggests it was a great time we had . The people who live there made our holiday a one in a million. They invited us to join them in their village hall for afternoon tea and they made us feel so welcome. We will treasure our memory of our holiday for a very long time.

The lovely scenery and activity on the bay more than made up for the lack of access to the beach.

excellent 4 days, kids loved it my son loved it and i was ready for a holiday after it . wonderful location ,static great every thing you needed ,wee store on island with every thing you need . Sunnybrae is situated in a magical setting, only meters from the flowing sea, surrounded by green hills and mountains it is a haven of peace and tranquility. Heather caravan is both brand new and spotlessly clean and is complete with all utensil you need for a relaxing get away from it all holiday. Mike the owner who is helpful and friendly but not intrusive is pretty well on call 24 7 Our weeks stay had mixed weather some rainy days but more often bright sun however, there can be nothing more relaxing than waking in the morning to a panoramic view of green hills and the deep blue water of Cuan Sound only meters from your window. Needless to say we are returning next year.

If you need total peace and quiet this is definitely the place to be. Sunnybrae is the ideal location on a very beautiful island, right next to the ferry. Accommodation very clean and very comfortable overlooking the water.

First time we have been to sunnybrae caravan site loved it so much we going back in July for 3 nights we met some lovely people there weather was not to great hopefully it will be sunnier then ☀️ We went with our granddaughter who is 10 & our dog Rocco they loved it x
