We loved our stay in the Heathers cottage! Great layout of property and really nicely furnished. Bed were very comfortable and we loved the ensuite bathroom - it's huge! Killin is a great village and it's a nice spot for walking and exploring. Thanks!
The cottage is a new modern build of high standard and very comfortable in a good location just a short walk to village Killin and great walks to Lock Tay. Would love to return in the future. Highly recommend.
A very comfortable property in a convenient location in the village of Braco. The owner could not have been more friendly or helpful. Off road parking available and a garden.
Great accommodation and location Totally enjoyed the week Always clean with great facilities The red squirrels were entertaining
Wonderful views, spacious comfortable accommodation with everything you could wish for a pleasant stay
We booked Tigh Muileann for a weekend stay for my Dad's 70th birthday. The cottage was just what we were looking for. The cottage had the perfect number of rooms and bed configuration for our stay and the views from the windows were amazing. It was so handy to be able to walk to wherever we wanted to go and the garden area was great for the kids who had a ball on their holiday! The outside utility room with extra storage, fridge freezer and laundry facilities was a great feature too. I would definitely love to come back again especially in the summer to make use of the outdoor space. I also th...more
They place was very well decorated and in a great location however there was a few things to note. If you are going out everyday it probably won’t be a problem but just wanted I’d mention it. The wifi is very slow. The satellite tv is pretty unusable as there channels are very confusing (there’s about 20 itv channels). The bathroom light downstairs had a 5 minute timer on! Which is a massive health and safety risk, imagine being in the shower longer than that being in the dark because the light has timed out and then tripping and falling and breaking your head open on the glass door - yea...more
Perfectly located in a nice, quiet location close to so many nice walks and wonderful woodlands. The Byre offers everything for a relaxing time to forget all your worries and allows you to recharge completely. The cottage has everything you're looking for. Very spacious and lots of comfort. Stephen
I stayed at Ruchearn for a fortnight in December 2023. The property is beautiful with stone flagstones in the hall and a very large living room with lots of character which accommodates lots of sofa and armchair seating, a wood burning stove and a dining table. It is a period property with lots of character and charm and high ceilings. There is also a very nice conservatory with views overlooking the River Earn. There are two large bedrooms, one with an en-suite bathroom. The bedroom overlooking the road is extremely quiet. Although this is a ground floor property and there were people staying...more
The cottage was ideally located, scenery was breath taking. Cottage had everything you needed, beds etc comfortable. Our girls really enjoyed the window seat and bunk beds. Plenty of walks and exploring to do.
A very comfortable, welcoming apartment. Spacious with very good facilities and beautiful modern decor.
Spacious, comfortable property in a great location. Lots of great cycling in the area and close to the Loch for swims.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tomanour, we just wished we could have stayed longer. The bungalow was so warm, cosy & very clean. The lounge has two very comfortable couches and also the bed was comfortable. The kitchen has all the equipment and utensils needed. Great bathroom with bath and separate shower. The garden is very well kept, enclosed and private, it is a sun trap we managed to sit out even in February. Would definitely stay again.
We stayed here in February as part of a Christmas present for our family. Killin is a beautiful place, and some of the walks are lovely with amazing scenery. The house was central and perfect for us, our grandchildren loved it. The only major fault was the hot tub which was very temperamental and we felt that it should have had some sort of covering, but overall we had a great time.
The Old School house is a beautiful, thoughtfully restored and well furnished property overlooking Lochearnhead. Upon arrival we encountered a few teething problems but Grant the manager and Linda the supervisor soon sorted them out. We had a very enjoyable stay there and have no hesitation in recommending them.
Second trip to Morenish Mews ….. need I say more?!!!! Beautiful spot, comfy & cosy with lots of fabulous mountains nearby.
This was our forth very enjoyable stay in Fire Station Cottage. Spotlessly clean, very comfortably and in the village on Comrie. We will be back!
We booked Glen Cottage for a week while attending our son’s wedding in Comrie. With the cottage having four bedrooms and several bathrooms we were able to comfortably accommodate eight members of our family, all of whom had travelled to Scotland for the wedding. The cottage was very well equipped, clean and quite spacious. Its traditional look and feel set added to the pleasure of our stay as did the lovely garden setting. Glen Cottage suited our needs ideally.
The cottage was clean, cosy and big enough for two people. Parking could be an issue .A folder with local information would have been helpful
I think how well stocked and supplied the place is might vary, and I was perhaps lucky that the owners had just been in or staying, but it had much more in the way of provision and modern conveniences than my cursory glance at the description of the contents suggested: I'd brought a cafetiere (though luckily I'd brought my own coffee, since I think the coffee provided, along with tea and sugar, no sweeteners, was instant), a blu-ray player (Though I had real trouble getting it to work, and so used mine: they have a largely very mainstream collection of films, a lot for children, but some inter...more
Grant at Cooper's Cottages found this peaceful and charming property at very short notice. Throughout my month's stay he could not have been more kind or helpful. He went out of his way to ensure I was happy and comfortable and resolved any queries extremely promptly. I highly recommend this accommodation. It has gorgeous views in the main sitting room overlooking the river Earn. The sitting room is equipped with a wood burner and it's well maintained (during my stay the chimney sweep visited). The accommodation is very clean and the kitchen is extremely well equipped with a very large ove...more
Loved Kenmore Cottage - what a gem! Spent a chilly Winter weekend here exploring the loch, hills and surrounding villages. The cottage has everything you need and is in the loveliest location. It's close to Killin with a great Co-op for provisions and the kitchen has everything you need to eat very well in the cottage. Spent the morning watching the sun come up over the loch and the birds in the feeder on the front lawn.
Stayed at Tolsta Cottage, Killin for 1 week commencing Sept 30, 2023, our 3rd stay at the same property. As keen hillwalkers cottage is in an ideal location with multiple Munros and Corbetts within easy reach. As this area, in common with other mountain areas, is subject to wet conditions at time it's great to have opportunity to dry clothes, far superior to camping! The property was in excellent condition, clean and tidy and we aimed to leave it that way at end of our visit. All facilities more than adequate for our needs and kitchen v well appointed. Internet connection more than adequate an...more
I would have to say that the comfort of the apartment was fine, the location is ideal for bus and train station and also a short walk to the town, there is a lovely fire in the living room that gives great heat, the only downfall is that if your a light sleeper your in trouble, I would say decent double glazing would make the difference between a decent place to a great place
The apartment was ideally located in a quiet area away from traffic noise but it was only a 15 minute walk into the village. The apartment was more spacious than we thought and there was enough pans, dishes, cutlery etc to cook a simple meal. It was ideal for a short stay.
