The moment we walked into Highland House it was Wow! The property is equipped to a very high standard The owners have thought of everything a holiday rental needs for a perfect restful stay.Comfortable beds where you had views of the Loch where you could lay lookingout at the changing scenery. Superb showers, soft fluffy towels. Boot room for wet walking gear, good parking.Useful outdoor seating looking out to the Loch. Easy walking to the local friendly pub. Walks available from the property. Perfect place to rest and relax.
A stunning cosy cottage that is brilliantly situated for exploring Scotland. We did day trips to Stirling, Pitlochry and Glencoe using this as a centre point. It’s thoughtfully decorated and well-equipped (we cooked a full Christmas dinner in the kitchen). There are walks from the gorgeous garden, past what feels like your private waterfall, and up into the forest for some scenic views of valleys and lochs. We simply did not want to leave.
Fantastic house in an incredible location, definitely worth considering if visiting the area. Dog friendly too.
We were greeted by the cottage owner Tommy, and given a tour. The ground floor cottage/flat is delightful, we felt at home straight away. Everything you could possibly need is provided, including a some lovely welcome goodies. Located in a small village with a brilliant village shop and also a coffee shop. We thoroughly recommend this lovely property in a peaceful setting.
Excellent accomodation....very well equipped and right a high level of cleanliness. Have booked with this company before ,very good service at every stage. Would recommend.
Brodie Cottage was an excellent match for needs. Spacious, very clean and tidy with all mod cons provided for a comfortable 8 day stay in Killin. We particularly liked the well equipped kitchen as we are keen cooks. There's a well stocked supermarket just 10 minutes walk down the road and a range of cafes and restaurants in the village.
We had a wonderful stay at the house. It is very warm, cozy and well equipped with everything that you require for a very relaxing stay. The house is in an amazing location with stunning views in every direction. It has been renovated to a very high standard and makes it feel like a home from home. We very much hope to be back to visit again in the near future. Thank you for use of the house and for excellent communication/booking procedure. Dave
This is our second stay at the Haven now the first with friends the second with family we will be going back the location for us is ideal we like a ride out to various places and most are within a couple of hours so making the days not too long the scenery is just breath taking the locals and neighbours are all very welcoming and there are plenty of walks for the dogs as well overall a very pleasant place to stay at We will be going back
Excellent accommodation. Very comfortable with good location in Killin. Couple of lights bulbs out but nothing worth worrying about.
Lovely old house modernised. It has the charm of the old downstairs and a modern master bedroom suite & shower room upstairs. Views of the Falls from all windows at the front of the house. The village shops & cafes are all within walking distance. There are local walks along the rivers and Loch Tay on your doorstep. Good position to drive through beautiful countryside to visit villages/towns nearby.
You could not wish for a finer setting in Scotland. Fantastic views and wildlife very comfortable . Very well equipped.
Tomanour is a lovely, charming cottage. It is very comfortable and well equipped, conveniently located, and attractively decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The house and contact with manager were near to perfection, it was our 4 night stay for 6 people (incl. two small kids). The amount of book in library or utensils in the kitchen is admirable
Spacious flat with a sun room . Enjoyed our stay here while visiting family .Good location within village and amenities but main road noisy at times . Useful to be near free car park . Good bathrooms . Had to have a minor issue dealt with and communication prompt with Cooper cottages
This house has fantastic views over Loch Earn and the mountains beyond. It is in a good position in Lochearnhead to be able to walk to the village facilities. There are lots of lovely walks nearby too. The house is spacious and light but is a bit tired. It makes a good base for touring.
Si much natural beauty I could not stop looking out if the windows it sitting on the porch. Also a short walk to get to the loch and have a swim! Loved it
Wij hebben het heerlijk gehad in dit huisje. Het is ruim, gezellig en warm. Staat in het centrum van Comrie.
Lovely stay. Cottage is very warm, cosy, private and peaceful. Surrounded by mature garden set in forest edge location. Stunning surroundings
Excellent little warm and cosy cottage in a great location for 'Munro Bagging. Super for 2 individual people with 2 bathrooms and separate bedrooms and all amenities you could ask for
Interesting apartment with a lovely view at the back, wood burning stove, and in the middle of Comrie village.
This is a very nice property in a great location. It has four bedrooms, two set up as en-suites and two on their own with a shared bathroom. Note that this bathroom does not have a shower, just a bath-tub. There is also a W.C. on the ground floor. There is a beautiful sitting area/library at the top of the stairs, a dining area downstairs, and a spacious living room. I have stayed there several times and will return again. It has a walled garden/yard and a rec-room with ping-pong table. Would suit a family with kids, especially those interested in outdoor life with many great walks just outs...more
lovely place to stay, near all amenities, very homey, but the couches are to low down to sit on esp. for us elderly
We really enjoyed staying at the cottage. The booking was made easy and very friendly communication. The cottage itself was really comfortable and in a fantastic location. Having access to a sauna was a real treat and we were glad to give it a go. The garden and surroundings is really big and our dog (Hoggy) loved running around. The loch is a short walk away and is very peaceful. All in all a great time and location, plenty of walks and areas to explore and see. Thank you! James, Flo and Hoggy
