We had a relaxing 3 night stay at Glinngeal. The accomodation is fantastic, the living space and kitchen had everything we needed and the beds were very comfy. We would highly recommend staying at Glinngeal.
Loved St Ola from the moment we arrived. Inside the decor and condition of the property is really impressive. Everything on hand to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The location, so close to hill walks and cycle paths, was perfect. Ideal base for trips further afield (Callander and Stirling). Could be as busy or as tranquil in equal measure.
Second stay here as before brill all the home comforts you need great customer service from cooper cottages and lovely hosts will defo stay here again
Super clean and tidy, with super amenities. Great location for the Loch and surrounding area walks,
We were due to stay for 5 nights, but after a couple if nights we extended our stay for a further 3 nights. The location was brilliant, just a stone's throw away from the world famous Gleneagles hotel, which we visited one night for dinner in one of the restaurants, Everywhere we went on the estate staff were so courteous and helpful, the location was close to Everywhere we wanted to go, the Lakes , St Andrews Edinburgh were all in just over an hour's driving distance. The apartment was immaculate and the customer service through Cooper cottages was first class, we will definitely be going back...more
This property is extremely comfortable and well presented, great value. It is in an ideal location and the owner clearly puts a great deal of effort into ensuring a good stay.
Wonderful views, helpful neighbours, warm and comfortable cottage. A great place for peac and quiet, with lots of good walks close by.
Brill place , everything you need , hot tub was great for relaxing after trips out and about. Fresh eggs from the host Fiona who was very nice , asked if we needed anything to let her know , she mentioned go to Loch Katrina and i'm glad we took her advice the walk along the side of Loch was absolutely stunning. All in all we had a great time and would definitely return.
The wee house is a lovely place to stay, we were made to feel very welcome by Louise. The property is in a beautiful location with lots of amenities close by. We look forward to returning to the Wee house in the future.
What an amazing place this is, me my wife and daughter stayed here over new year and absolutely loved it. The house is absolutely beautiful and the views are out of this world. Would highly recommend this place and would definitely go back.
Spacious, comfortable accommodation and excellent value for money. I would definitely return if in the area. Nearly everything you could possibly need. All fixtures and fittings to a high quality Just as a little point - no bottle opener and a mirror would be nice in the twin bedroom. Strongly recommend.
Nothing but praise from our son and his family visiting from Australia about their stay in Ruchearn. Coming from their summer climate they found the flat snug, comfortable and easy to live in. (NB it can be rented in conjunction with the flat above "The Old Schoolhouse" - accommodating a total of 8 in the whole building). We found Cooper Cottages good to deal with, prompt and efficient.
Excellent as ever. We had a great family holiday and the weather was good. Plenty to do around the area.
The cabin was in a very nice place near the river. It was clean, and very comfortable for a family of 5.
The property was clean and well presented and had everything you needed. The welcome gift was very much appreciated with delicious home made Jam. The hot tub was lovely after a long day walking. We had sole use of the hot tub whilst we were there. It is in the garden which is shared with the main house although all the curtains and blinds were closed at all times so we were not overlooked. A very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend.
Lovely apartment ideal for what we were looking for. Centre of town location handy for everything. Owners very helpful.
a lovely small cottage in a good quiet location with all the facilities required to enjoy a holiday . the owners are friendly and helpful.
This is my second stay at this fab cottage. Great price for the location and facilities on offer and minutes walk for shopping and eating. Will definitely be back
Beyond any expectations, Leitters Cottage offers an exceptional accomodation, in a perfect, stunning location for those exploring Scotland. Within multiple one-day trips, we've been able to see St. Andrews, Edinburgh, Rosslyn Chapel, Stirling, Blair Athol and House of Bruar, Scone Palace, Island of Mull and Iona Island Abbey, Loch Lomond, Loch Tay, Loch Katrine, Port William, Oban and Glenturret Distillery, some waterfalls, beautiful landscapes, some historical places and charming small towns. As an extra bonus, during a couple of very clear sky nights, we had the best sight in a life time of ...more
I stayed with seven friends to celebrate a birthday and everyone really liked the cottage. The living space is cosy, but enough space and the logburner with plenty of logs was much appreciated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. I was already familiar with Killin, but it is a lovely wee place for a break. I will definitely consider staying in the cottage again.
Had a fabulous girlie weekend in Killin. House is beautiful with all mod cons (kitchen is a little bit bamboozling for us technophobes!) House is very spacious and ideally situated in heart of village. Will definitely be back.
There was plenty of room for two of us and the accommodation would be good for a family too. A wonderful welcome from Bryan, a well equipped holiday home, and quick access to many beautiful places in Scotland. The only niggle was the lack of any manuals for the kitchen appliances. We would stay here again.
Our second visit to TOMANOUR. Has a private secure back garde. Very quiet location and a 10 minute walk into town centre. Fabulous hotel, family butcher, 2 convenient stores, bakers, curiosity shop with beautiful gifts at very reasonable prices, fantastic Deli with excellent products. THIS HOLIDAY LET is a MUST visit.
We (party of three) enjoyed a fabulous christmas time in Edinample Lodge. The house is beautifully furnished. In the well equiped kitchen we prepared festive meals and enjoyed them in the spacious dining area. The log burning stove ensures a very cosy atmosphere in the living area. Spending the evenings in the shine of the fire while relaxing on the large sofa and in the comfy chairs was very great. Beds are of high quality and allow a good sleep in the calm surrounding. Walks can start a the door's step but because the tops of the mountains have been covered with snow it was better to choo...more
The house was very comfortable with plenty room for 8 people. The owner was very helpful when we had a couple of issues and sorted them out very quickly. Also very accommodating with the dates of our break. Ideal situation for golfers or for families wishing to explore the area. Would definitely recommend this property
A very well laid out and comfortable cottage. Well placed too with lots of history and scenery will definitely come back. My family and I had a very enjoyable and just what the doctor ordered break. Thanks x
the cottage was ideal, clean warm great village, great location, we had a marvellous time, to round off our break Europe won the Solheim, the icing on the cake.
Had a wonderful stay at the Old School cottage, attractive traditional exterior, with modern interior, providing every comfort we could have asked for. We stayed here after my husband had a knee operation, and it was the perfect spot to get away, with restaurants and the village shop near by.
excellent stay as always, no problems with new managers of cottages, key now in box on side of chalet apart from that nothing has changed Quality wise, Catherine still onsite if minor problems arise
Glen Cottage was a great venue for our 3 generation family weekend. It's position on the edge of the town meant there was easy access both to country walks and the shops and coffee shops in the village. The table tennis room was an added bonus and an interest throughout the weekend. The weather prevented us from fully benefitting from the lovely enclosed garden and patio, but there was ample room inside and plenty games and books available. The nearby golf course and the mountain biking tracks at Comrie Croft also added to the fun, as did wild swimming in the River Earn. The Earthquake Hous...more
What a pleasant surprise to walk inside this quaint looking bungalow to find ultra-modern bathrooms, luxurious bedrooms and very comfortable beds! It was perfect in every way for our 3 night stay with a family of 5. The house is well equipped, came with a generous welcome pack and has all mod cons. There's lots to do within walking distance or a short drive. It helped that the weather was perfect with not a drop of rain. Highly recommended.
We had a fabulous week here The property is so homely and welcoming with a lovely warm entrance every evening when we came back fro Gleneagles The hosts were fantastic even taking in our shopping delivery when our flight was delayed and lending us a couple of large umbrellas We walked to Forteviot one evening and loved the little village though the nearest shop and pub are about 3 miles away This is a great base for Gleneagles, Perth and Stirling which are all within an easy drive
We spent a fantastic 5 days at The Tighna in Killin. The accommodation was excellent and really tastefully furnished. The location was perfect and we would definitely want to visit again.
We really liked the air conditioned sun room with a view over the loch. A very well equipped kitchen, and convenient with both a dishwasher and washing machine. The only thing missing was a clothes horse to dry the clothes once we had washed them. We also appreciated the good selection of games to play in the evenings. Highly recommended and if we ever need to be in that location again, we'd love to come back. Many thanks.
Perfect location direct at the lake with a great view, huge rooms, three clean and modern bathrooms, nice home cinema, a very good fittet kitchen and an amazing terrace. Good management with an easy booking system and fast communication and we will come again!
The apartment was well located to town. We walked easily to trains, shopping, restaurants, pubs. Apartment was clean; hostess was quite nice. There were a couple of irritating hiccups (drawers that broke, no wash cloths, no bath soap, shampoo or conditioner, inaccessible closets) but living room was quite comfortable and kitchen was well-equipped.
We stayed in Comrie for 3 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fantastic property with amazing views. Great property in the village with every creature comfort. Would highly recommend this property.
A lovely week at Ruggles cottage. So many extras in the kitchen it was like home from home. No need to be cold as plenty of wood for the fire and if that wasn’t enough there was also central heating. Beautiful area and lovely walks from the cottage. Only downside for us we booked from advert for 4 bedrooms and on arrival owner said she kept bunk bedroom for private use. As there were 6 of us we doubled up and managed but had we known this we could have booked a 3 bedroom cottage for less.
We had a week in this quiet and perfectly located flat, with very helpful and friendly proprietors nearby. The galley kitchen was ideal! Beautiful views across the Perthshire countryside, excellent walks, restaurants, cafes and pub in Comrie. Where else could you go for a walk on January 1st to be met with hearty New Year wishes from complete strangers! Thank you.
The lodge was clean, well equipped and very comfortable for the six of us. The area is beautiful but not too remote. The freezer is a small compartment at the top of the fridge so if you are getting a food delivery (We used Tesco) don't order much frozen food. The internet connection was much better than we were anticipating (so that kept the teen-agers happy) and the TV and DVD collection was great for younger kids. The fire kept us all toasty In the evening and the electric heaters warm the bedrooms is up pretty quickly. We played board games, sipped whisky and climed our first Munroe and ...more
Warm welcome of the owner. Beds low for an accessible house. Elderly parents would have been helped with higher beds.
