We had an amazing few days staying at Osprey View with magnificent views of Loch Earn on your doorstep. The property had everything that we needed for our family to feel comfortable and was like a home from home. We will definitely be staying again and would definitely recommend.
This is a great holiday home in a stunning location. Picture box views from every window. Lots of thoughtful details… black out blinds!!!! Kitchen huge and fantastically well stocked. Thank you
The cottage is very well placed for visiting the many tourist attractions in the area. It's very well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable and cosy stay. There are some nice walks around the village area too. Tommy gave helpful recommendations for walks, scenic drives etc.
What a wonderful property! Set in a great location in the village of Cromie, the apartment is extremely spacious with great facilities and lovely balcony which overlooks the small car park (we had no problems parking) and over to a field where you can hear the river Earn running and can watch the wildlife - deer, sheep, pheasants, even saw a heron flying in! The apartment was clean and very comfortable, and we had a fabulous holiday. Thank you Coopers Cottages!
This is our fourth visit. The staff at Cooper Cottages are excellent communicators and Allt Beag has everything you could need. Love watching the red squirrels feed at the bird table. Wonderful location. We will be back.
I couldn’t fault anything about this holiday cottage or the rental process. The cottage itself has been renovated and decorated to a very high standard. I think the owners have considered and provided just about everything you might need. The bedrooms are bright and airy and the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen area is so well equipped and the sofas comfortable to sit and relax. Bathrooms are lovely and modern too. The cottage itself was warm and cosy. We holidayed as a family of 4 with two adults and two teenagers. This cottage was ideal for us. It gave us the space and comfor...more
Very welcoming and comfortable. Standard excellent all the extra touches made us feel at home. Beautiful home in a great position. We had a very minor issue that was addressed immediately. Loved the christmas decorations. We had a lovely family get together.
Great little base for exploring the Loch Tay and Glen Lyon area. Cracking location in the heart of Killin with easy access to pubs cafes and shops. Only downside for some would be the access up two flights of stairs.
Had a great time prospecting and exploring the area. Amazing scenery. Would definitely stay again. We were really lucky with the weather.
This is a lovely property with plenty of room for 4 people. Nice little extra conservatory room and outdoor seating. We felt a little cold on first night and no extra blankets (particularly cold spell in March), but were able to regulate heating ourselves so that helped. The location is great and free parking is just a few metres away.
We stayed here over the weekend with family for a wedding close by. Firstly the location in Killin is excellent. Right in the centre but with expansive views over the hills which we loved waking up to. There was plenty parking space outside the house and right next to a lovely restaurant called the Courie Inn which I would definitely recommend eating at. The bedrooms were decorated beautifully and the living room was so comfortable. Definitely recommend for exploring Killin and the surrounding areas!
Took my parents for a long weekend stay at Earnbank Cottage. It was a delight. The views from the windows were superb. It probably helped that we got a spectacular weekend weather wise. Cottage was clean and cosy and warm when we needed it to be. Outside space was great. Only down side was that it sat on the main road but this didnt bother us too much. Took our dog with us and had to keep her on a lead even in the back garden - but again no biggie. Overall a lovely peaceful stay and would recommend highly.
Such a beautiful place to stay. Plenty to do and the property has everything you need. It's very relaxing to stay here. Would highly recommend if you want peace and quiet and lots of fantastic walks.
Me and parents enjoyed a 3 day break at the property and were very impressed with the location, condition and cleanliness of the property. We would highly recommend and would use the property again.
High quality appliances but operation too complicated for short stay and customer service manual of little help. No bottle opener, no breadknife and wooden spoons needed replacing. Checking of kitchen items sloppy. However size and comfort of accommodation made for a very pleasant stay.
The chalet was cosy, clean and welcoming and in a very peaceful and scenic location. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay.
Really not much more to say than that this is a fantastic and well kept property. We were staying for the local music festival so the location was perfect with us not needing more than a short walk to get to the hall. The property was clean and had everything we needed. So good that we're already looking at dates to go back for a longer stay in the future.
We had an absolutely marvellous time at Kenmore Cottage. Beautiful scenery and a relatively "central" location for the Scottish highlands providing excellent access to both Loch Lomond in the South and looking further North to Pitlochry and Aviemore, though we didn't venture quite that far! Only things I would have like to have seen were more pans in the cupboard for use when cooking - especially a frying pan - and that some oil maybe should have been in the cupboard as a standard for use, but honestly these are such minor thoughts! It is an absolutely wonderful place and if I can ever mak...more
Comfortable accommodation with a good log burner in a generous lounge. Everything you need in the kitchen. A comfortable stay.
This is my second stay in Firestation cottage. The house is lovely very comfortable and well located. Christine very kindly let me access the house early which was great and very appreciated. Disappointingly the garden and Garden furniture was not tidied up for our stay. The hoover needs replacing as is very old and is difficult to use. While I love the house and it is very comfortable, I think it is a bit expensive @ £600 plus booking fee for 3 nights.
The cottage has a lovely view down Loch Earn which is a big plus. The cottage is generally well appointed and worked for us as a couple. It could do with some coat hooks as it is an ideal base for walking in the area either along the old railway line or for the suitably equipped up the local mountains. The old railway line is also a cycle route. The A84 is outside, however it’s not a major highway, although does get a fair amount of trucks as it’s one of the main routes to the Highlands. You don’t notice it normally although we live in London. The reverse out of the drive onto the A84 is not a...more
We stayed with our sons and their wives/partner plus a family friend. It was our second stay. First was two weeks before Christmas for our son's 3rd, and successful, attempt to get married, due to covid. We loved it so much but hardly saw it due to the wedding weekend being busy, so decided to book again to really enjoy it for it's own sake. Just the right mix of comfort and facilities. the cottage is not on the main road, so is very quiet. The garden is lovely to sit out in, play games and exercise. We had mainly good weather, but on the very rainy day we came home after a wet walk to lash...more
Took a leap in the dark when booking Tolsta; no idea about the local area, not familiar with that part of Scotland but blown away on all fronts. Plenty to see and do for outdoorsy young familys along the shores of Loch Tay, and Tolsta made a very comfortable base for us, with beautiful scenery straight out of the back door. Helpful folk at Cooper Cottages too, honouring our repeatedly scuppered booking attempts through the pandemic. Recommended
Beautiful cottage in a stunning and very quiet location. The vast majority of the time was silence, only ruined by the large number of motorcycles during the weekend days. We had a family of Siskin’s in the garden as well as deer. We spent the majority of the time in the conservatory with stunning views. I lit the log burner one evening which was lovely. The furnishings, beds, settee’s are all very comfortable. Unfortunately when we entered the cottage and each subsequent day, there was a very musty smell in the kitchen and less so in the dining room. We stored our coats in the living...more
A very well appointed and comfortable bungalow in a beautiful setting. I would recommend to anyone who wishes to stay in the area.
We, as a group of 8, have been here every year for some time. We make good use of the water so the moorings are important. The property generally is good and reasonably comfortable whilst now getting a little "secondhand" in some ways. Saying that, it did improve this year with new carpets in the lounge area. All the facilities work and having three bathrooms is great. The decking has views of the loch which are just brilliant. We will be back next year!
The cottage is in a nice location with a good pub nearby. It was well presented and welcoming. However throughout our stay we had the smell of an exposed sewer in both the upstairs bathroom and downstairs toilet, making both areas places where you did not want to linger (ie quick showers only and no bath). We had to leave doors closed and windows open to prevent the rest of the cottage from smelling. Measures were made to resolve the issue during our stay but not successfully - there appears to be a fundamental issue with the plumbing/drainage in the property. Both Coppers Cottages and th...more
I would have to say that the comfort of the apartment was fine, the location is ideal for bus and train station and also a short walk to the town, there is a lovely fire in the living room that gives great heat, the only downfall is that if your a light sleeper your in trouble, I would say decent double glazing would make the difference between a decent place to a great place
Fantastic . We are returning visitors . Perfect position for our needs . Friendly hosts . Will definitely recommend the property .
Spacious, nicely furnished accommodation which we discovered last minute and booked with no problem whatsoever. Instructions on getting there and for entry very good. Felt like home immediately and has mostly everything you need for your stay. Comfortable and well-equipped. Like any property there are a few things you can quibble about but no major complaints. Be warned however that the front of the house is on the main road through town and traffic noise can be intrusive if your not used to it. Location is perfect for access to the town's amenities and even though parking is off-site this is ...more
