We were due to stay for 5 nights, but after a couple if nights we extended our stay for a further 3 nights. The location was brilliant, just a stone's throw away from the world famous Gleneagles hotel, which we visited one night for dinner in one of the restaurants, Everywhere we went on the estate staff were so courteous and helpful, the location was close to Everywhere we wanted to go, the Lakes , St Andrews Edinburgh were all in just over an hour's driving distance. The apartment was immaculate and the customer service through Cooper cottages was first class, we will definitely be going back...more
We had a very wonderful and comfortable stay at St Ola cottage. It is a lovely cottage with the standard of everything excellent and is well equipped with everything we needed. My children also really loved the stay and were fully happy and content playing board games and reading story. A fantastic cottage in a fantastic location. Thank you for making our stay wonderful and relaxing.
The wee house is a lovely place to stay, we were made to feel very welcome by Louise. The property is in a beautiful location with lots of amenities close by. We look forward to returning to the Wee house in the future.
Beautiful and comfortable interiors. Picture perfect cottage exterior with secure garden. Stunning location nestled in the national park and overlooking beautiful, tranquil loch and direct access to be able to enjoy it. It doesn't get much better than this. We have some stunning memories and I would highly recommend this cottage.
We were here for a major orienteering competition in the nearby forests/moorlands. The cottage was ideal for an extended family group. Very nicely organised and all the facilities one could ask for. Brilliant views over Loch Earn and the mountains beyond. Would definitely go again.
Lovely cottage surrounded by beautiful picturesque loch lomond landscape Provided with all amenities Not far from other towns
the weather was at times dreary but did not spoil our enjoyment of this lovely location. We want more!
The cabin was in a very nice place near the river. It was clean, and very comfortable for a family of 5.
The property was clean and well presented and had everything you needed. The welcome gift was very much appreciated with delicious home made Jam. The hot tub was lovely after a long day walking. We had sole use of the hot tub whilst we were there. It is in the garden which is shared with the main house although all the curtains and blinds were closed at all times so we were not overlooked. A very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend.
We had a great stay at Earnview Court. It was comfortable and clean, and in a great location for our trips to the national park and local cities. Would definitely use again.
This is my second stay at this fab cottage. Great price for the location and facilities on offer and minutes walk for shopping and eating. Will definitely be back
Beyond any expectations, Leitters Cottage offers an exceptional accomodation, in a perfect, stunning location for those exploring Scotland. Within multiple one-day trips, we've been able to see St. Andrews, Edinburgh, Rosslyn Chapel, Stirling, Blair Athol and House of Bruar, Scone Palace, Island of Mull and Iona Island Abbey, Loch Lomond, Loch Tay, Loch Katrine, Port William, Oban and Glenturret Distillery, some waterfalls, beautiful landscapes, some historical places and charming small towns. As an extra bonus, during a couple of very clear sky nights, we had the best sight in a life time of ...more
Lovely little cottage, ideal for our first family holiday with our 4 month old baby. Clean and tidy with everything you need, very helpful host.
This is a nice and well located apartment, in the centre of Callander, for exploring the Trossachs. We enjoyed all hikes around Callander, uphill to the Craigs and parts of Rob Roy path into the north.
Rented this house to celebrate a family birthday, and we were not disappointed. Great location, and a fantastic property with lots of space. Everything in the house is finished to a high standard, and lots to do, both in the house and on your doorstep! We'll definitely be back if we're looking for somewhere in the same area.
Comfortable and convenient property. Exterior door locks awkward to use and door handle to small bathroom from single bedroom does not work. Otherwise very happy with this holiday cottage.
There was plenty of room for two of us and the accommodation would be good for a family too. A wonderful welcome from Bryan, a well equipped holiday home, and quick access to many beautiful places in Scotland. The only niggle was the lack of any manuals for the kitchen appliances. We would stay here again.
Our second visit to TOMANOUR. Has a private secure back garde. Very quiet location and a 10 minute walk into town centre. Fabulous hotel, family butcher, 2 convenient stores, bakers, curiosity shop with beautiful gifts at very reasonable prices, fantastic Deli with excellent products. THIS HOLIDAY LET is a MUST visit.
This iwas our second visit to this cottage and we are looking forward to our next visit. The owners are very welcoming and helpful.
the location is perfect for water sports and for visiting south scotland, situated at one hour from glasgow, edimburgh, east and west coast. the cottage is perfect in everithing
The Lodge is in a wonderful location, at the gates of Edinample Castle on the banks of Lochearn. We honeymooned here 30 years ago when the Castle was a ruin and the cottage was basic. It has been upgraded to the highest quality. Everything needed is here, including a fully equipped Laundry room.
Cosy welcoming house. Spacious living room with fireplace. Lovely village in beautiful nature. Really enjoyed our stay in Killin. Would certainlly come back again.
We enjoyed the cottage and found the surroundings very relaxing and loved the sound of the river and waterfall going past the cottage.
There were 4 of us and the cottage seemed very spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, glassware and pans. Having an en suite, bathroom and shower room was extremely useful. As we were competing in a sporting activity almost every day the washing machine was invaluable. We never used the dryer as our clothes dried well overnight on the airer. The house was very warm. Our only criticism was that the outdoor seating area needed some maintenance and a larger outdoor table. Otherwise it was one of the nicest self catering cottages that I have stayed in.
Had a wonderful stay at the Old School cottage, attractive traditional exterior, with modern interior, providing every comfort we could have asked for. We stayed here after my husband had a knee operation, and it was the perfect spot to get away, with restaurants and the village shop near by.
Glen Cottage was a great venue for our 3 generation family weekend. It's position on the edge of the town meant there was easy access both to country walks and the shops and coffee shops in the village. The table tennis room was an added bonus and an interest throughout the weekend. The weather prevented us from fully benefitting from the lovely enclosed garden and patio, but there was ample room inside and plenty games and books available. The nearby golf course and the mountain biking tracks at Comrie Croft also added to the fun, as did wild swimming in the River Earn. The Earthquake Hous...more
What a pleasant surprise to walk inside this quaint looking bungalow to find ultra-modern bathrooms, luxurious bedrooms and very comfortable beds! It was perfect in every way for our 3 night stay with a family of 5. The house is well equipped, came with a generous welcome pack and has all mod cons. There's lots to do within walking distance or a short drive. It helped that the weather was perfect with not a drop of rain. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Armoury. The owners are really helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The house is well equipped with crockery, glassware, cooking dishes etc. Plenty of room and perfect for a group stay.
We really liked the air conditioned sun room with a view over the loch. A very well equipped kitchen, and convenient with both a dishwasher and washing machine. The only thing missing was a clothes horse to dry the clothes once we had washed them. We also appreciated the good selection of games to play in the evenings. Highly recommended and if we ever need to be in that location again, we'd love to come back. Many thanks.
This is the 4th time of visiting the fabulous boathouse, the location and the views are spectacular, plenty of drying area for wet suits, and it's own jetty what more can I say.
Comfortable accommodations with welcoming touches to make us feel at home. Plenty of room to allow our family of four to spend a week exploring the area.
The apartment was well located to town. We walked easily to trains, shopping, restaurants, pubs. Apartment was clean; hostess was quite nice. There were a couple of irritating hiccups (drawers that broke, no wash cloths, no bath soap, shampoo or conditioner, inaccessible closets) but living room was quite comfortable and kitchen was well-equipped.
A lovely week at Ruggles cottage. So many extras in the kitchen it was like home from home. No need to be cold as plenty of wood for the fire and if that wasn’t enough there was also central heating. Beautiful area and lovely walks from the cottage. Only downside for us we booked from advert for 4 bedrooms and on arrival owner said she kept bunk bedroom for private use. As there were 6 of us we doubled up and managed but had we known this we could have booked a 3 bedroom cottage for less.
Great place to stay. Liked the accommodation and the location. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Comrie
A week for 4 adults (one didn't mind a bunk room) in a fantastic location with plenty of interesting places to visit nearby. Comfortable log cabin on a large plot with a wood burning stove and logs provided. Kitchen was well equipped apart from no washing machine but we knew that in advance and came prepared. Beware the potholes on the approach track!
Very comfortable Walking distance to Comrie Spacious bathroom Rural views Central heating - incomplete instructions
Warm welcome of the owner. Beds low for an accessible house. Elderly parents would have been helped with higher beds.
