The lodge site is set in the hillside in Lerags Glen towards Loch Feochan.
Quiet and convenient, the chalets of Lagnakeil offer adequate facilities for families: safe play grounds away from the road, and a game room are much appreciated.

The sitting room is large and convivial. The bedrooms were OK but large enough for their beds, no more. The single bathroom includes WC, is small and vintage.
The staff is very kind and helpfull. Much appreciated. The proprietor lives in and is readily accessible.
All in all, no fundamental criticism, but not cheap either.
We were disappointed when we opened the door to our Ash Lodge. There is a smell that was particularly bad on a hot day. The chalets are very dated which we wouldn’t have minded at all if we had felt it was clean. The worst thing was we had asked for a high chair and travel cot and both were visibly dirty. Especially the travel cot! It had obviously been used previously for a play pen outside. A whole pile of grass and dirt fell out of it on to the carpet when we opened it.
