Had a great stay @ Cartole Cottages mid June. Linney was very comfortable and well equipped. Nice having parking outside front door. Great location for seeing the local area with good walking and biking nearby. Hosts were also excellent, very friendly with good knowledge of restaurants and things to do. Will definitely be going back. D&P
We had a great stay at Cartole cottages . We stayed in Caro’s cottage which was beautifully decorated , well equipped in a fab setting. Ideal location for getting about the south coast of Cornwall. Miles and Karl our hosts were great and would not hesitate to recommend a stay here . 10/10 .
Our cottage was so well laid out to allow us to relax, eat and cook downstairs with space easily for 4 people. The cottage has beautiful views from the upstairs windows and the only sounds were the birds. The outside patio and grass area adds a special feeling of space and privacy. Caro’s cottage, next door also shares the lower part of the grass area, but that doesn’t hinder your experience. Our friends were in Caro’s cottage and the set up with the two cottages makes it an idea two family/friends set up. Miles & Karl were lovely and made sure, in an understated way, that we had everything ...more
Very impressed with the cottage, appointed to a high standard and having extremely comfortable beds. Very much home from home with all facilities that you would expect, even in COVID times. Very friendly and helpful hosts, readily available for local advice and any info you might need.
The only downside to this holiday was its length, which was dictated by the current circumstances. We would love to have stayed longer and hopefully we will be able to do just that that next year.
Lovely welcome by Karl , very friendly and helpful. Cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Hand sanitiser and anti bac spray provided too. Bedrooms very cosy with crisp white bed linen and fluffy towels. Gorgeous green areas with space for our dog to walk. Quiet and relaxing. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Karl !
