The Siding, recently renovated to a high speck luxury accommodation for two, is located in a quiet lane in Brancaster Staithe. The house is a short walk from the harbour and there are two pubs within walking distance. Perfectly positioned to discover all that this beautiful area has to offer.

We really loved our stay here. The location is fantastic and the property itself was ideal – we had a really lovely time and would happily stay again.

It is genuinely difficult to find anything to be critical about, which probably says everything about how much we enjoyed it. One very small comment that might be useful to take on board, rather than a gripe, relates to the really handy hot water tap in the kitchen. It is a great feature and means there is no need for a kettle, but it did seem to heat up periodically during the night and was a little noisy, which woke us a couple of times. There may well be a way of switching this off overnight and we simply did not know how to do it, but if so it might be worth mentioning in the instructions.

That really is the only point we could think of. Otherwise, everything was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a 4 night stay whilst performing at the Brancaster Staithe Shanty Festival. We were able to walk to all the venues which was ideal. A short drive away from Wells next the sea which is beautiful. Close to Hunstanton, the RSPB bird sanctuary, Burnham Market and much more. A beautiful 1 bed studio which was well equipped. Very accommodating and pleasant owners. It is on the site of a house which is also rented out, but the property isn't overlooked by them and we didn't hear them.

Accommodation not in accord with pre booking pictures. The Sidings is very restrictive in size with no comfortable lounge chairs. Nowhere comfortable to eat meaning eating out all of the time.. Toilet seat did not fit properly. All together very disappointing and not worth the cost.

A lovely little place, well positioned in a wonderful village, a short walk to lots of amazing places and the best pub!
The bed is super comfy, shower is great and the kitchen was well equipped.
The little outside area has a table and chairs to sit out on to enjoy the weather and the parking area can comfortably fit 3 cars if needed.
Lovely little place, hopefully be back soon!

The Siding is in a good location close to the beach and walks. There are two pubs close by, both serving good food and more places to eat in the nearby villages. It is small but comfortable and ideal if you just use the property as a base for getting about the area. However, if the weather is poor it's not the greatest place to spend a lot of time.
It does have a small 'terrace' area which is quite private but is in the shade during the afternoons. There was no kettle, but a 'boiling water' heater was provided - however we found this didn't work and instead used pans to boil water hot enough for tea and coffee. Obviously this will no doubt be fixed and shouldn't be an issue for future visitors.
I would recommend The Siding as long as you are intending to use solely as a base. It is well kept and in a good location.
