We have visited old oak cottages several times over the years and as always have been really pleased with our time spent there. Excellent in every way. Highly recommended
“We aren’t staying very long. Please can we stay longer?” pleaded our five year old grandson. He was unwittingly echoing our sentiments too. Badger is a wonderfully light, very comfortable, well appointed and well equipped, spacious cottage with a nice garden. The cottages are very peacefully located and Badger was spotlessly clean. We arrived on a very hot day. We opened some doors and windows such that Badger became nicely airy. Conversely on the cold evenings it was very cosy. This is not the first time we have stayed at this cottage, with good reason. It has a great location with marvelous views, and all the amentities required. A friendly and effifient management team ensure a great stay.
We had a lovely stay, as usual! Not our first time at Old Oak Cottages and definitely won't be our last. We had a broad age range within our group and found the facilities were excellent - the pool was great and our older members found it particularly helpful that a double ensuite was on the ground floor. The hamper was a very welcome touch. Thank you so much for having us, it was just what we needed!

Excellent week and couldnt fault anything. Pool was fantastic for the kids. So much to do in that area and were blessed with the weather for October!
Great break at Old Oak Cottages returning after many visits in the past. Always a welcome break, looking forward to returning next year.
